I was scheduled to pick up at 9am. I arrived at 9:12am and the place was closed. I waited until about 9:30am and the clerk arrived and opened for business. I had already checked in online with the appâ€¦.that was awesome! The truck was filthy with residue of spilled drinks, loads of crumbs, and ashes/dirt in the dash. I had to clean and disinfect the cab when I got home and before driving any further.Judi M.

The app (i know it's corporate) wasn't working correctly so I'll have to see if I was charged multiple times. Had I known I needed a 3rd or 4th phone number and contact for a rental it should have been communicated sooner. Frankly, that seems excessive, I know that's a corporate issue as well. The local team was helpful and friendly. In this case I think the app experience was the issue here. The location was a little smoke shop so not my usual place but no issues. The people were great. In the end we got the truck that we needed and got on the road to get our job done moving my son from an apartment.Mark E.

The location on Rigsby and WW White needs a new worker. The gentleman there is rude and ignorant. I originally reserved and tried to pick a truck up from there and he ended up cancelling my whole contract, causing me to pay more mileage and more days for this truck because the people I had set up to help couldn't because they had to work by the time I finally got a truck and got started so I was left loading a 5 bdrm 3 bathroom house with myself and my 20 yr old daughter with both of us having back injuries from a recent car accident.HEATHER G.

The area was swarming with homeless people. Also, We were charged for an extra day when we had the truck back on time but the check in person didn't check it in until 32 minutes later. So that is the check in time he put on our paperwork. We called to complain and he said he would call us back but he didn't of course. Crooked business. We won't use Uhaul again. I arrive at the location a little bit before my pick-up time, but the person renting out the U-Haul shows up about 5 minutes, no biggie, so I continue with the check out process and everything goes smooth and I get handed my keys to my U-Haul. When I get to the U-Haul I find a hobo slumped in the driver seatâ€¦ I go back inside and tell the clerk that someone is sleeping in my van and the clerk tells the hobo to politely leave the van, but the hobo does not budge. The clerk gives up immediately and just walks away, so now I have to take care of the hobo. I shook him awake and told him he needed to hop in the van next to me or something because I gotta go. He leave and that was that. The facility here should really lock up the trucks when not in use as well as the truck beds. The clerk did not handle this situation well and left me to deal with it. Now onto the van itself. Brakes need surgery. The brakes were squealing very loudly, not a good thing to hear. And the truck was dirty (prolly from all the hobos squatting in the trucks). Poor place to pick up a U-Haul. Drive to any other U-Haul spot in San Antonio and I bet you any of them are better.ANDREW G.

This location should be CLOSED. The location is in a slum area with homeless people loitering around, even sleeping in the rental trucks. They were 30 minutes late in opening the store, which put me over an hour behind travel time . The uhaul had not been cleaned out properly it was filthy. Once we got on the road yhe AC kept going in and out. It was a miserable experience. Called customer service and no one has gotten back to me on any of this. Tried to complete my own drop off and the app would work at the last step of the process. I was able to drop off keys with someone at the connected gas station. Returned the truck with gas at the same level as I had picked up and was charged a $17 difference anyway. No Uhaul signage indicating this was a rental/drop-off location, area was dimly lit with no clear designated parking area. Will not return to this location.Stephanie R.

The app to check the equipment in is suspect, it freezes at a certain point and you can't complete the invoice which leads to other charges. There has to be a better way for customers to be relieved of these extra charges. When the apps works , it's good, when it's not it's frustrating .....paul B.
