The staff needs to make sure that the customer is hooked up and safe before they leave we are so lucky that we did not lose a vehicle on the interstate. They said they would only hook up the trailer under the ball hitch for liability reasons. I think U-Haul needs to re-sync the situation. A simple visual to make sure that the customer who is not a professional has everything done correctly and intact would go along way towards safety and liability. also, if you look at this current rental contract the drop off place in Goldthwaite Texas was a joke! There was nobody on duty. They did not answer their phone. I went to a local Ace Hardware and then employee there happen to know who has that franchise. The gentleman did come from home and help me get the hitch the trailer off and take it. My 41 foot RV would not be able to negotiate the small parking lot. Website says they're open till six at 4 o'clock no one was answering the phone. Had it not been for the ace hardware employee who happen to know a couple and had their phone number I would've really been messed up!JOSEPH F.

While the trailer that I rented did the job that it was supposed to do, the location to rent from was in very poor condition. I understand with everything going on in today's world and with the closings of numerous non essential businesses, that the cleanliness of a business gets overlooked. I normally dont like saying bad things about small businesses but there should be a sense of pride that comes with it. But the trailer was fine, there were a few lights that didnt seem to be working correctly but they said that I was good to go.David M.
I would recommend Niecy's to other people. I would not recommend UHaul online to others though. Your sign in procedures on the computer are not user friendly and your customer service is not good. I picked up my truck, then found out about an hour later (before I had even loaded it ) that it had not been dispatched properly and if I were stopped, it would be reported as a stolen vehicle, and where did I get the keys, etc. I finally told the lady (customer service or dispatcher), to cancel the request and refund my payment as I would not use the truck, and would take the truck back to Niecy's. Very very disappointed in U Haul. It had not traveled over a mile from where I picked it up. Yet she wanted to know how much gas it had in it and the miles traveled in it. I live in a small rural community and the pick-up location is less than a mile from my home. I will not be using UHaul in the future.Steven S.

When picking up via phone have more access to employees when problems arise. I had issue and took me 2 hours to complete only because I couldn't reach anyone. Horrible experience all because reservation was expired because I was late while figuring out the pricessDiana W.

Generally things went well, but there were a few significant issues. One, I went to pickup when the location was closed and had a difficult time with online pickup. No one available to help. Rep at uhaul not helpful. Had to return several hours after my scheduled pickup, when there was still no one on site to help. Second time around, got an extremely helpful young woman uhaul who got me going and on the road. Additionally, that morning, in the dark uniluminated driveway, with only one entrance/exit, I ran into an old iron plow which was unmarked and unilluminated. I likely should have stopped and filed a claim. At any rate, I'd recommend this site simply because it's the only uhaul site within 35-45 miles of this area. If that weren't the case, I don't think I would.John Y.

Worst pick up location ever There is one only old lady working at the facility And she has no idea of how to attach auto transport plus she took exactly one hour to rent us uhaul because she don't know how to use the computer I was left with no help what so ever I had to attach auto transport to uhaul by my self and also attach my car to auto transport by my self which I never felt safe to do I recommend uhaul to close this location if only that old lady named Cynthia is going to run this placeAshit S.

This location needs a serious upgrade on the parking lot I nearly got stuck dropping off the trailer during a rain storm. This location then had the nerve to bill me $15 for " cleaning the trailer" there was a little mud on the fender and a few blooms from live oak trees on the bed of the trailer which are all over this lot! I have never had a single issue with other locations I have used. If you live close to this drop off location I strongly advise you to use a different location.SCOTT M.
