My pick up time was 12 noon, but it took me over an hour with bad website and long call waits to get through several times due to customer service hanging up on me. finaly when I got the code for the key to the truck, it was blocked in on the side street with cars. took me another 40 minutes to get the clerk at the mailbox to agree to help us to swap out the key with the second truck that was not blocked. at the drop off, I had to use the same website answering questions and taking pictures of the truck. when done, the system over charged me for gas when I had just filled the gas before drop off. Will never use this location or U-Haul services ever again.Oleg S.

The vehicle was dirty in the interior and a side window was broken. When I got in, there was a water bottle, mask, and e-cigarette in the console section of the vehicle and the gas gauge was lower than expected. After returning the vehicle, I filled the tank to where It was when I picked it up and then was told that was below the line that I was supposed to. Overall extremely disappointed.Michael A.
I called them to confirm the drop up and to make sure they will receive the truck; the person on the phone was so surprised I called and pretended I'm crazy that I'm calling them and I should have known and just drop off on Magnolia Blv and who called me to confirm this! I said I'm trying to be sure everything is right from my end and abe said do it online and or come to the store for the drop up and I exactly gave them a specific hour, got to the store, and they were closed! Got back the next day because my return date for the truck was at 8am on March 10. I parked on Magnolia blv exactly where they asked me at 8 am and followed the instruction, shared the location I park through the Uhaul website and pictures, and I was all set. The store was closed; it took us had an hour to find the Uhaul mailbox at the back of the store with no logo and just a tiny Uhaul written name. The next day I saw that I had a voice call that they got the key and they know where the truck is! The car was precisely on the other side of their store, and I took a picture and shared the Location with them. Anyway, I called the person back and went on voice message and told them i followed the exact instructions they gave me. They never picked up and answerd the phone either. Being in the middle of moving is already stressful and how disorganized they were was just horrible to experience. I also saw their reviews and everyone seems having same experiences.Keyvan H.

Took almost an hour to do the pickup via the app and the dolly and mats I ordered weren't in the truck. On return the lady was pretty unfriendly and uncommunicative. The van itself was fine.Simon W.

Make sure location is open when pick up time has been confirmed. The owner/attendant on site was very unhelpful in retrieving the key from the box when app didn't want to work. Moving is such a stressful situation and when renting Uhaul like this adds more to your stress, it becomes an even more frustrating experience altogether!Raffy R.

The truck did not have the equipment I had ordered which made my move that more difficult. The login process was not efficient - it took 45 minutes and the App did not work properly. The truck had no gas! The light went on immediately upon leaving the Uhaul location - unacceptable! Very disappointed!Marc M.

Fix your tech site please. Took 15 minutes to load up the ID, then on the return it kept saying location services was disconnected, which in fact wasn't true. Everything else is great. The site just needs a revamp or something.Fred M.

I was charged $30 for refueling and $10.50 for 2 gallons of gas. The needle barely moved on the gas gauge while I was driving it for the 2 hours I had it for. Will NEVER use this location again and would NEVER recommend anyone else do. Shady AFAikane B.

Convenient location. The woman working there was not particularly professional; didn't know if my husband could be listed as Additional Driver (I made the reservation); didn't know if he was covered on insurance; didn't tell us there would be an additional fuel charge (we were already charged for mileage); we used less than one gallon of fuel, and were charged $20 for gas. Reservation should have only been $40 tops, we were charged over $60. I don't know that I'd return here.BELINDA Y.

Checkout/return was tough because I didn't have a good signal on my smartphone, so I couldn't watch the entire instruction video on youtube. I learned after I dropped the keys in the box that photos had to be taken DURING the checkout process. I had taken them just before dropping the keys in the box. There were no written instructions clearly stating that I needed to take the photos during checkout. I sent them in to customer support via email but don't know if that's sufficient. Other than that the experience was excellent.Scott G.

When initially reserving the truck to rent, I wasn't able to reserve more than one day of use. I needed the truck for two days, and asked the people at the pick up location for advice on how to arrange that. They said I should be able to change the duration online. When I tried to extend my rental online, I was unable to change it in any way. I contacted U-Haul only to find that the truck had been reserved by someone else for the following day, causing a headache where I had to contact the regional scheduling office to get them to reassign the next renters a different truck and extend my rental as I'd originally intended. Their office was quite helpful, and Jim Carroll in customer service was also exceptionally helpful the following day, when I needed assistance getting the rental period closed out. Overall, the people that I worked with were very helpful--it was just an unnecessarily stressful and complicated situation that could have been resolved much more easily if I had been able to rent the truck for two days to begin with, or if I had actually been given the option to amend my rental online, rather than having to wait on hold with a few different parties to resolve the issue.Annie T.

The woman running this location was not helpful and not friendly. When I returned the vehicle, she refused to check me in ("use the website") even though I had forgotten my log-in details for the UHaul site. It would have taken her a few minutes at most, but in spite of my repeated requests for her to issue me a receipt, she kept telling me "I have other things to do." As it turns out, your website then mistakenly charged me for $10 of fuel (even though I had only driven 2 miles!), which I then had to protest.Matthew M.

More clearly marked parking spaces for the rental vehicles. Could improve by giving customers a heads up that they are about to be the clerk for their own rental while the place of business is closed. Also would be great to know that you need the phone numbers of 2 references ahead of time. That caught me really off guard. The app had a few bugs where the interface would go blank when trying to select "pay with card previously on file"Jeffrey B.
Definitely consider skipping this place if you don't want to deal with rude and lazy representatives. Upon pick-up, I had to pretty much fill out the info on the Uhaul slip on top of initialing and signing the necessary portions. Returning the van is where it REALLY got irritating. The lady turned rude and acted inconvenienced when I refused to just drop the key and leave. I let her know I needed to have mileage and gas verified as well as my receipt. She rudely told me "well then you can wait" as she helped the customer who was there for her shipping business. I patiently waited 15 minutes out back just to go back in and realize she forgot about me. It wasn't until I walked in again at the 25 minute mark after taking video/picture evidence of gas/mileage/no van damage. She finally went and verified it all. I asked for a receipt and she told me she emailed it to me. After waiting 5 minutes and NOT getting an email, I contacted Uhaul myself to verify the order was complete and to have a receipt emailed to me. A usually 5 to 10 minute engagement went almost 45 minutes! Sufficient for a one off never going to go back again visit but other than that, stay away form this rude and lazy lady.Leonel A C.
Neighbor businesses should not park on the U-haul parking. We had to wait for them to move 2 cars, before we could park the truck. Not the U-Haul's packaging store's fault at all and when they saw us, they moved right away, just took a while and my helper had another job to go to.Steven T.

I didn't have a problem with the locations, but my overall experience was very poor. I booked over the phone for a location which then proceeded to be switched to a different pickup location and I had to call to get it returned to the original. I then gave the exact address to which location I wanted to return my Uhaul to and that location got changed as well. I had to call Uhaul several times to get this all sorted out. Very difficult for a one way trip and will most likely not use again.samantha B.

Truck was fine. That area is SUPER sketchy at night. As a small female, I was pretty weary and freaked out. Ended up calling a friend to pick it up with me. Maybe warn people that this is in the back of an alley, facing an off-the-market weed store and hookah bar. Oh and lotssss of crack heads.BRETT H.
Clerk at counter seemed inconvenienced when I arrived to return vehicle. She did not inspect the vehicle or ensure the gas level was where it should be. She was also hesitant to give me a receipt at drop off until I insisted. When I explained that I wanted to ensure the correct charges were on my credit card, she seemed not to understand that either. I then asked if it was the standard practice to expect the receipt at a later time via email, if she wouldn't print one for me, and she just shrugged, walked over to her printer and handed me the receipt. No explanation or clarification. The vehicle was in good shape, the location fine, but the customer service definitely lacking.Julie M.
When I called to get information on how to pick up my reservation since it was going to be after hours, they did not have any knowledge on how to do so. I also asked, because I have done this in the past with my Uhaul orders and I wasn't sure when I would be getting off work, if the reservation window was flexible. They said yes, that as long as I return the vehicle before they open in the morning, I would be fine. I had followed their instructions and was instead charged for two reservation periods. If I had known this, I would not have kept it our for so long.Daniel C.

I feel ripped off by the pricing. Online the mileage pricing is different than what I was charged at the store. Seems to be additional unexplained charges as well. No one ever answers the phone and I am forced to travel to the location to get answers. Bad!!!Larry D.
