David SThe PROBLEM was I was told the address of the closest location but the location was not a drop off location ! There was no one there no key drop box no sign of life. I was in a very difficult situation because I was at the correct address confirmed by a real live human being from UHaul but I was sent a text message with a different address further away and my sister who offered me a ride did not have time to go to the 2nd location!! It was very confusing and difficult. I arrived at 12:00 but was told the location was wrong.. when I called to drop off.. Very bad communication
KRISTIN AThe lady at the rental facility was nice, but I am very upset about how uhaul handled our reservation. I reserved a truck at a location 15 minutes from where we needed it, but found out the night before picking it up that our location was moved to a place 40 minutes away from us. We had to ask our loader to come later than we'd scheduled and had an extra 50 minutes in the car before a 10 hour drive the next day (not to mention the added direct costs of ~2 extra gallons of gasoline in the moving truck, extra gasoline in our car, and wear on our car). I understand staffing shortages and am flexible, but no compensation was offered for the major inconvenience, just a notification (was unable to take a call during the day due to work) I saw at 8 pm and had to scramble to adjust our plans to accomodate.

Winter M | Overall ExperienceThere's no marked key return drop box. Generally no signs or instructions. Truck was unlocked with key in it from previous driver. Not the best U-Haul experience compared with other locations.

However, when we showed up to this storage unit to get the key in advance, they had no record of us booking the unit through Uhaul, prices were incorrectly stated on Uhauls website and the 1 month's free rent we were promised by Uhaul when we booked a truck with them was not honored by this storage unit, even though it was Uhaul's search engine that guaranteed the free months rent. Where is your integrity, Uhaul? I have used Uhaul for years and never had so many issues in one order. I will take my service elsewhere going forward if this is not resolved.
Kevin GAs always, uhaul equipment is always beat up but the price is good and the trailer hit the mark on all safety standards (tires, lights. tongue, chains). Norfolk moving and storage were super nice to work with. Excellent customer service!!!
Ron DEquipment was clean. One tire had 65#, the other 40#. The vendor was not able to correct the low air situation. I had to find an air source myself.

Steve AOnly issue I have with the tandem wheel trailer is it needs a jack stand to lift the front end to get it on the trailer ball. It was very heavy.
DAVID MCT has a law regarding snow on vehicles - there's been quite a bit of late, so I understand that it's difficult, but it is the law - had to clean the snow off a 9' tall van mostly on my own. Not easy or fun.

MARGIE WCan't think of anything for improvement as I was comfortable, happy and nothing went wrong. Loved the truck. It was 14' but I wasn't afraid to drive it. We needed a 10' truck (which would have been the perfect size... did not need 14') but none was available, so I was given the 14' for the 10' price, which I thought was a well made decision. Truck rode so well, nothing shifted in the back even WITH all that open space!!! Truck was VERY comfortable.

Sarah HI was billed twice. I couldn't get my dining room set because of this, it was by far the worst experience of my life; I tried to call the place that rented to me and no one was there I spent hours with my bank trying to take off the bill. I will be calling asking for my money back.

MELISSA HHad to travel 80 miles to get trailer after reserving it two months in advance. Couldn't return to same location as they were going on vacation. Had to pay $40 extra to return to a different location. WTF

Angelo RI rented a 5x8 trailer and only 2 of the 4 brake lights came on. I saw a green wire that was not terminated inside the trailer. I don't know if that was the cause or not. Also the layout of the yard was not condusive to pulling out a trailer without requiring backing up. Expand the parking lot.

Nino Mwe arrived to pick up trailer, and place was closed-- The trailer was ;eft in the parking lot, but we have never rented from uhail before and didnt know what to do. I called the 800 uhaul number and was able to do paper work over the phone,and take the trailer, but wasted an hour of our time waiting for someone to show up,and then on the phone with uhaul. The trailer was clean, but the hitch was in very bad shape. We could not tighten it down properly,the hitch remained loose during the whole trip the trailer was bouncing up and down making it a very uncomfortable trip. I hope this info helps other get a more enjoyable experience from uhaul!
Robin WWe made a RESERVATION with Northeast Muffler in Amenia, a 15 minute ride from our location to load, in a valley with NO CELL/COMPUTER range. Imagine our shock when we went to get the 14 foot truck and were told our reservation had been moved. "To where" was our question. They directed us to call U-Haul to find out. Did we mention we had no cell phone reception??? Yes, but they could not/would not help us. A McDonalds had reception...our pick up was past Norfolk, Connecticut!! 45 minutes one way!! Then, when we went to turn the truck in, we had to pay extra for "over mileage". Well I wonder why!! Could it be because we had to drive a long ways to get it???
