Our truck was not inspected before rental. It had a broken oilf filter that leaked all the oil out in our first 10 miles. There was also an appliance dolly unsecured in the back, that we did not order and the back was not swept out from the previous use.

Adam JMy experience had more to do with the process of picking up and dropping off the truck. The website kept glitching/timing out making pick up take 45 minutes and dropping off. Also the locations "parking lot" was filled with over grown trees and weeds making parking a 15 ft box truck difficult.
Michaelwyn KI scheduled an 8 am pick online for this location. I got there at 8 and they were closed, not opening until 830. They finally opened at 845 and left at 915 (a full hour behind my schedule). Also, I ordered furniture pads, never received them. I notified Uhaul of this three times via email, but still got charged for them.

Kylie DFloor of the cab was muddy, almonds under the seat, coffee cup under the seat. Back of the truck not swept fully. I left it A LOT better than I found it.

Jeanne BSame comments as the pick up location. One UHaul issue was the cabin leaked. When I opened the back to load, the upfront deck was wet and one packing blanket was soaked. We dried everything before loading. Overnight it rained. When we unpacked the vehicle our boxes on the shelf were wet, not terrible but wet and soggy. The mattress on the same side was damp. There is a leak somewhere.
Bob TI requested a pickup at a different location and the truck was not there. I was never notified that my pickup location was changed. I will not use another location that isn't dedicated U-HAUL store. Very disappointed with the lack of Assistance I got. Thankful my experience with U-HAUL equipment and standards didn't disappoint.
Diane Athere was no indication that i had to use my phone to check out (the location was closed). after 20 minutes on hold, i finally got a person who clued me in as how to proceed. i got an error in the app during the checkout process and was unable to resume the check out. i had the keys by that point so i just used the truck. i also got an error during the check in process and was unable to resume. i was, however, able to restart the check in and got it to work. both errors occurred when i was attempting to upload photos.
Kristopher TOwner wasn't aware of my rental and as a result I had to wait 10 minutes for him to get there. He was extremely helpful once he arrived.

GARRY MBob, the owner, called the day before and verified the rental. Also, he provided directions to his business, since the main street leading to his business was closed for repairs. Extremely helpful since the computer maps gave us directions using the closed street.

Kevin NI didn't mind picking it up from this location, but this was not the location I chose and it wasn't the most convenient for me. Uhaul just changed it a few days prior to my pickup. My truck was the only truck there. The man was very nice and friendly...it is a very small autos hop.
