Please make sure you have rentals at the exact place at right day and time. Went to put up trailer I rented and it wasn't there and no one called to let us know. So we drove there to pick up and no trailer. Man was very rude and said call u haul. Finally called customer service and had to get another one scheduled and had to go pick up at another location. Cost us about 2 hours of trying to get a trailer I had reserved and paid for up frontBilly C.

I was charged an extra 115.00 after I returned the vehicle. I was never explained that they charged by the mileage . I was charged .99 cent a mile . Remind you I paid 117.09 at the pickup location for the rental . I will never go through u - haul again or recommendRobin H.

The huge failure of your reservation system caused us a tot of time, trouble and money to move. We eventually had to drive 710 miles to our destination location the next day and rent a "local" to drive back 70 miles, load up, then drive back to within a mile where we rented the truck unloading where we now live. Employees were very nice and understanding, but the reservation was worthless and turned into a cluster f***,Will never rent U Haul again and warn everyone I know that you don't keep accurate track of your inventory and overbook so you turn multiple people away during peak times. This is no way to run a business.ARTHUR Z.

The computers were off line. At first they would not try to help us to secure the truck we had reserved. Another U-haul, located in Batesville, called the district office to expedite our rental. I had to drive to Batesville and back to Oakland. Thanks to Betty at the Batesville location for being so nice and concerned.Patrick R.

If U-Haul is going to accept my reservation and contract then I expect to arrive at the pickup location with the equipment there and ready on time. Though the people were friendly and helpful, rhe truck wasn't there even though I had made the reservation almost 2 weeks ahead of time. The Memphis regional office suggesting I drive 3 hours out of my way to go get a truck and the number of furniture pads I paid for weren't available. This is not the way to run a business.Howard R.

I'm handicapped and not able to lift and do other things that some folks can do this location has nobody to disconnect the trailer remove it from your vehicle and basically take care of the job it was pouring down rain I have an artificial leg I also have hardware in my back and just can't let it I had to pay another customer after I waited about two hours for somebody to come in that was able to help me just to help me remove this trailer from my truck that is unacceptable and I would not recommend this location for anything to do with U-Haul. And they had the nerve to charge me for being 2 hours late.Kenneth U.

Please excuse my punctuation I usually don't leave reviews but I'm one disappointed customer.......here we go,,I dropped the trailer off a day and a half earlier then contracted on Tuesday morning, lady at the store said I would receive a email with the final receipt shortly after dropping off.... well that didn't happen so I try calling and none of the numbers were working numbers for that business, so at around 6 or so pm Tuesday I drive back to the location I dropped the trailer to find out what the reason for not receiving a confirmation of my return and I noticed the trailer that I dropped off that morning was gone, I go in the store and I explained to another lady the situation, long story short... nothing got resolved, so on Wednesday I receive a text message from U-Haul that my rental is passed do, now I had to leave work after being on hold for 42min and 13sec before hanging up with U-Haul customer service, she said she was gonna trying to contact the business I returned the trailer to.... so after 42 minutes and 13 sec on hold( not even sure it was on hold bc I didn't hear any music nor did the rep come back on the line)....I waited about 15 minutes and called back, speaking to another rep that puts me hold with music this time mind you,tried calling the business and in no time at all comes back on the line stating the numbers she has is disconnected, by this time I'm fixing to lose it, so I drive back to the drop location and once again not person that works in this truck stop could help me with anything, stating again the man that handles it is out.... so here we go rocking on Thursday morning and still no return confirmation on my rental and keep in mind my debit card has a hold on it and I need to leave back out for work.... I jump in my truck and drive back to the location for the 3rd time in 3 days and go in the store and the same lady that assured me on day 1 of my return confirmation is there working , once again I explained that I still haven't received return confirmation. She picks up her cell phone and within seconds â€œthe man that handles U-Haul rentals at this locationâ€ answers and not sure of there conversation she assures me it is handled and should receive an email, well low and behold after sitting in the parking lot of the truck stop contacting customer service, missing more time from work and 3 trips to the drop store, I get a email stating my trailer was returned on the 4th after the due time when indeed it was dropped off on the morning of the 3rd.... that's probably fine with U-Haul but it's not fine with me for incorrect information when my name and debit card is attached to the contract. I WILL NEVER USE U-HAUL AGAIN... I feel like I got ripped off under the assumption that I would have credit back on a $420 rental on a 5x8 trailer. Nope..... Customer service reps are nasty and useless. So after having to deal with the problem myself I'll make sure to discourage anyone I know from using U-Haul and going throughJeffery T.
We were told Sunday by tony that we would not be charged for 2 days if we returned late which we did not intensionaly but because of weather it was returned about 6 p.m. we probably didn't get away with car hauler until 3 because the internet at the time of pick up tony the manager who was dealing with us said usually when it comes in on day of return if its a little late they would nit charged for two daysevelyn F.

Truck was muddy beat up and gas cap off. Young man had no idea how to get me going he phone a guy and we did over the phone. Oakland is 40 mike drive not 21 that we where told. We did make it home safe in the .patrick M.
This was an hour away from our requested location. We were told the day before our rental date that our pick up location had changed, despite an online reservation a week in advance. The address given was incorrect AND the phone number given was disconnected. We had to call UHaul to help us locate it. The people at the store had no idea how to rent us the trailer. It took a lot of extra time to wait on several different people to make phone calls to try and figure it out. No UHaul signage at the location either. Very poor location out in the middle of nowhere.Chris F.
