My trailer was clean, sort of. It was an older trailer that's seen a lot of use. It shows rust and fading inside and out. There's grime embedded in the corners, where rivets and screws make it hard to clean. Otherwise, it functioned perfectly.

It blows my mind that they didn't walk me out to the truck, so I had to wander their lot to find it. Then, I get a call from your regional corporate office four days after I returned asking where the truck was. The location staff could did not bother to go look for the truck, even though I put it right back in the same spot. Extremely disappointed.

I was told and have the receipt and contract where I was suppose to be charged around $350 (including deposit). I was charged $500 dollars and then an additional $100 dollars causing me to be declined on purchases. The U-Haul was returned on time and cleaned out. I am extremely frustrated because as you can imagine...move across states is already stressful enough. This is extremely disappointing and the reservationists couldn’t even find my keys which delayed my trip. I extremely upset and want my money they took from me.

The location was a one man operation. He was changing a tire for the previous customer so I had to wait more than 30 minutes to be waited on. The first vehicle I was given did not start and I had to put air in the right rear tire 3 times during my trip. The gentlemen was very nice to work with he just needed more help. I more disappointed with the U-Haul person that recommended this location. I told them that I want to go to a full service, well staffed location and they sent me to the opposite.

Reserved everything online and paid in advance. Rental location could not figure out how to use my reservation and I was forced to all the leg work again to rent. Had to pay again and wait for refund for first payment. Tried to drop off trailer where I choose to drop off and location told me I had to take it to a different location. Drop off attendant there was confused because I didn't have the equipment number I had reserved. BIG MESS from start to finish...

The proprietor was pleasant and willing to help us by providing a dolly that we had been promised by a different uhaul facility , but not present when we picked up our truck. I was confused why we paid more for the dolly at Oceanway when we had been told the cost would be $7.99 at Pecan Park.

I would never recommend ANYONE come here. They are a rip off. My bank and lawyer is looking into my whole rental agreement. They unlawfully charged my card and accused me of not putting in gas when I have pictures to prove. Worst company ever. They have created more problems for themselves for stealing money from people’s accounts.

Truck was full of spiders (all shapes, sizes, and colors) and was not swept out when I arrived, however, The truck was well maintained overall. The person in charge wasn’t rude but she definitely wasn’t friendly. Hardly made eye contact, acted like she was in a hurry, and interrupted me several times while talking. I’ve had better experiences with uhaul but the truck served its purpose.

Office has no AC, lot is dirt, mosquitos everywhere, the truck wasn’t clean and it sounded like it was dying every time it accelerated.

The gnats are absolutely horrible. Standing around waiting 30 minutes for the online approval and being ate alive was not fun.

My truck had over 100k miles on it. It ran a bit rough and didn’t have cruise control. The passenger door could only be opened from the inside. It was a local move, only had 50 miles of total travel so it did the job. Check in was great and check out was simple and easy. Would definitely recommend as far as customer service just would like to have updated equipment.

I reserved a dolly and when I arrived for the truck they had none available yet did not notify me prior. The truck had a hole in the roof and since it was raining my belongings got wet.

Inside the trailer the corner of the floor has 6”x6” triangle cut out of it leaving exposure to wet roads and water splashing into the interior like what happened to my belongings (soaked) when it rained. I was pulled over by the police because the registration sticker on the license plate expired 2 years ago in May of 2017, I rented the trailer July 2019 SERIOUSLY! To think I actually paid U-HAUL money for this is crazy!!!

Very disorganized, not a clean office at all. Truck I “reserved” was not available as they rented it out earlier, was forced to rent a larger truck that I didn’t need or want to pay for as the 10’ Was not big enough and the 20’ was too much. More gas and wasted space. 15’ was the reason I chose this location online. They should not be a rental location.

We returned the truck on April 24th. The woman said we didn't need to do anything with it and then we just got billed @60 extra dollars because they said we returned it on the 29th 5 days late. We dropped the Uhaul off on the 24th and went straight to the airport to fly home that night. I'm not sure if this is scam by the owner of the location or a mistake. I'm currently on hold with Uhaul to get my money returned. The voice while on hold says "have you completed your review" What a wonderful idea. I'll do it while I'm on hold!

The gentleman in the office said a 10' was not available due to mechanical issues. So I had to get a 20'. After I was charged for the rental and believe got keys. Another guest drive off in the 10'. He did NOT walk me to the truck or offer any guidance. Extremely appalled at the customer service experience with him. Told me it was useless to look at another location for the size truck I need.

The lady was very unprofessional and rude. She did not have the location open on time and was not apathetic about it at all. She did not walk me to the equipment. She actually stated, “ the trailer is to your right just look for it!” When I told her I was having a hard time placing the trailer on the hitch, she stated “you must be doing something wrong then”. I will never use that location again even though it’s around the corner from my house.

Customer service was horrible. The truck was garbage. The lady behind the counter did not walk around the vehicle with me, I told her that there were multiple lights on on the dashboard including a check fuel cap warning and the engine light. She had written on the back of my receipt that there was a gash in the roof that was being temporarily protected by aluminum tape and that the customer (Me) understands and accepts the possibility of water damage. I had no idea the gash was there nor would I have accepted that risk. The whole reason for using a uhaul as opposed to my own trailer was the possibility of rain on this particular day. The billing was and still is messed up. We were grossly overcharged for this truck. Still waiting for that to be reconciled. The lady told me there were blankets and a dolly in the back and not to break the seal unless i wanted to use them. There was no dolly but she didn't know that because that would require her getting out of her chair and checking the equipment. I told her that the reverse lights were not working and that there were multiple other issues with this vehicle. She stated that she was aware of all of the issues and that it would be "fine." I then tried to return the fuel level to 1/4 tank as required by contract. As I attempted to fill the truck up gasoline started pouring out from underneath the truck near the gas tank. I recently retired from the Marine Corps and have used Uhaul several times over the course of my career. This was the most disgusting and unpleasant experience I've ever had with your company. This location should be shut down or at the very least this very rude and lazy customer service rep. should be terminated.

The truck roof leaked water quite badly and damaged several items. The rep from oceanway tires didnt disclose that the roof leaked when I was renting as she rushed me through the process and didnt provide me with a copy of the rental contract until after leaving the location and via email. The truck is out of alignment quite badly and was difficult to drive. 2 days after returning the truck and giving the keys to an oceanway tire employee, the lady from oceanway tire called me and demanded to know where the dolly (which I did not rent but was left in the truck when I picked it up) was. It was in the truck when I returned it. She accused me of not returning it and stated that I would be charged for the missing equipment. The truck and keys were returned to the location and given to an employee. They do not lock the trucks and the lot is unsecured. I have 0 use for a moving dolly but was accused of stealing it. What a disaster this place is. Use another truck company but if you must use uhaul, definitely DO NOT USE OCEANWAY TIRE.

Rented $10 equipment with a $50 deposit . I gave a total of $60 . I returned the equipment on the day I was told and the owner only had $30 of my $50 deposit available . She told me to come back later for my $20 that she still owe me . She first tried to hand me $20 . Let's see how this go when I arrive for my $20 today . I thought deposits are put away not used on other things .

So we dropped trailer off earlier and after hours around 8 pm lighting is very poor here it’s very dark. We put the trailer next to two other trailers. I called today just to make sure everything was okay. The lady precede to tell me we put it in the wrong place. I told her we put it next to two others. She said they’re in wrong place. So I called U-Haul costumer service to let them know. If a facility wants you to park it some where specific then it needs to be better lighting and signs telling you what to do or customer service of U-Haul should be told so they can tell customers where to put it.to be frank there wasn’t a lot of spaces we could see in the dark so we placed it where we could see and not run into anything

Okay for a place where the U Haul franchise is secondary to another business. They were helpful - no complaints. Yard where inventory kept had a campground feel that was not a negative experience. Office served multiple purposes so it was definitely not a dedicated U Haul office but was still efficient and totally functional.
