I don't really have any comments on improving. The gentleman that helped me was absolutely wonderful. I came in last minute on a Friday evening to get this truck for Saturday and he accommodated me so gracefully. I would definitely recommend them if you are looking for a U-haul. I will certainly go back to them in the future.

Brandy PThe poor woman working at the liquor store was the only one there! She had to take care of the store and try to get the rental for us. They did not have the extra equipment we rented with the truck set aside, she had to dig through cabinets to find the items. They didn’t even have the dolly we reserved, or enough blankets. I felt So bad for her! We were there about 40 minutes picking up the truck next time we will try a different location.

Mikey RI registered online, but when I got there, the woman didn't know what she was doing. We waited 42 minutes while she spoke to someone on the phone in Spanish. We had an appointment, so I took the phone from her and ended up having to go through the whole process again! The woman was completely useless. Then we got the key, only to see the truck was behind a dumpster, so we moved the dumpster and went back and forth to get out of the tight spot because a car was parked on the other side of the dumpster! The lady never left the store to check out the truck with us.The absolute worst experience of "service" I've ever had in my adult life! I've used U-Haul before at other locations and know this is absolutely unacceptable! I wouldn't even give them one star for it was far below "poor". It was pathetic.

Reggie MThe van ran well, but was not very clean. There was dirt and sand on the seats, floors, and bed. There was a little other debris in the bed as well. I brushed some out. I just needed it for an hour to move a twin mattress set. I left it cleaner than I received it. It would be nice if the van was inspected and swept out, if needed, between rentals.

Marissa SNot give me a mop to clean the wood floor of the box then charge me a $25. Cleaning fee. That’s super unprofessional for someone that acts like they are doing me a favor. Poor additude for sure. Would not use them again.

Rick bThis office location is in a very busy liquor store and the person who helped me was trying to wait on customers while also helping me rent the van. I think he needs a second person to help. But, he was very nice and helped me get on my way quickly and easily with no hassle. I really appreciated that.

gustavo mI was charged for 2 days, and I only had the truck for 6 hours (11AM to 5PM). When I received the bill there was a charge of $25.00 that I had not authorized. Very dirty truck and there were some maintenance issues on the dashboard. I was charged $98, and the bill should have only been around $50.

Osvaldo ALocation is not a U-Haul store and not well identified as a U-Haul place. Only way it's OK is convenience. Persons in the location were friendly and helpful.

Derik BThe location was fine it was the mobile process that was annoying. Having to upload multiple photos, have someone else be called to confirm information, and making it confusing between contract holder and driver made it frustrating. I wish we had just gone inside to begin with.

Kathy DThey did not have the trailer for my car only the 10 by 10 truck. Then I have to drove more than 60 miles for the trailer stuff. Please make a consideration on my check. Also a lot of noise in the engine maybe transmission issues.

Robert KThe trailer had a little mud on it. The tire pressure was at 70. It should have been below 65. Easy fix. The mud was very little, but you asked if it was clean. The wheel bearing caps look fine, but all 4 wheels are spraying grease on the wheels. I was worried about the bearings and brakes due to the grease. I was a heavy equipment mechanic, so I checked it all out. Everything is safe and will be for a while… the Engineering on the trailer is amazing! Well built, easy to use, and safe. I will rent again on that alone.
SEAN HI was not informed to put gas in the van, and was not charged .59 per mile as promised.
LISA BWhen I delivered the truck, the individual behind the counter looked through her security camera to see the truck in her parking lot. Then she thanked me and did nothing else. No receipt or written acknowledgement that the truck was now in their hands, not mine. I think that is not good for the customer or UHaul. By the way, the facility is ok, however, its a liquor store, so i wouldn't say inviting. I have a house in Moorpark, so we definitely need a UHaul connection in the town.

Scott NPenske switched locations on me 3 times prior to receiving a truck. Last minute they cancelled saying they didn't have any availiable. I reserved ;my truck 1 month in advance and they still didn't come through. UHaul came to the rescue. Scheduled and picked up a truck within 1 hour, was moving my stuff 30 minutes later. Thanks UHaul. You are the best.

Peter KExcellent service. We rented this u-haul to pick up our daughters wedding rentals. We needed everything to go smooth and this location did not dissapoint. U-haul was ready, a/c worked great and fit all of our rentals from A Rental Connection in Moorpark. We had a 50 person guest list for our wedding.
Kevin TInitially made a reservation at a farther location and unfortunately got a call from customer service saying that the cargo van was not going to be ready at that location instead they found a more convenient location to pick up a van from and my experience was flawless and fast check in process would definitely recommend in the future.
Guillermo SThe “approval” process took about 15 minutes. I had to reach out to customer service and at that point, it was approved. There was no updates provided along the way and it seemed a long time to wait without any real reason. In the future, it would be great to have that process take less time, especially as I was just waiting outside in the heat next to the truck.

ROBERT BIt is a liquor store. I had to wait for all the retail business done and then I could get service. It is not professional in any sense. It is better to find dedicated service and knowledgeable staff. The only good thing is the location.
HSINHWEI CRefund me at least a partial amount. I scheduled twice and they called me back saying they have to cancel. Then I rescheduled for 4 days later (I had to pay prorated rent to my landlord) and then they changed my reservation without telling me and then cancelled my reservation. Then they made me a new one and said I was gonna get 198 miles but I only got 138 and then I got charged $20.. like really? as if this wasn’t bad enough. Overall a terrible and very stressful experience and I’m glad it’s over ill never get a uhaul again
JOSHUA MThe person was friendly but stated that she had never done a return of a trailer. It took a fairly long time for her to figure it out as she kept interrupting my transaction to help other customers of the store.
Mark GCargo van was great and worked well for the move. I did bring it back 24 hours sooner than expected and was hooping the rate took that into consideration for my final amount but it appears it was only based on mileage.
ROBERT KU-Haul website is horrendous, redirects, unasked for changes and alterations, unintuitive , misleading ....you paid someone for that mess?
