ERIC NThe lady at the office is rude. First they marked the gas wrong. Thn I had to fill extra gas. Even then they disputed the gas. I was luck that i took picture of the gas meter. I had proof. Otherwise I was going to be charged with 24 dollars.

linda wnot only did they mess up my inbound day after a signed contract was put into place, but they then tried to charge me for 5,000 miles and billed my credit card, which caused a fraud alert while traveling, effectively leaving me stranded for about 3hrs or so with no way to pay for anything. This has been the worst experience and worst customer service I have ever seen from a major corporation -- UNACCEPTABLE!

Sandra BI returned my truck the same day @ 5p. The person at the counter said all she needed was the key and she would text me the final amount. Did not happen that day. Next day Oct 21st, 12.30p , I have a message from this U haul location advising me they have not heard from me about my rental and they needed for me or contact them or they are going to report the truck stolen. I got a similar call from a U haul office with the same message. I called both back, and made them aware, I dropped the truck off the same day at 5p and never received my final amount notice from the Del Amo location. Looks like they forgot to show the truck had been returned. Not a good feeling having someone threaten to report you to the police. Otherwise, everything was good. Feel free to contact me about this if you’d like.

Jason KThey misread the gas meter at Locke up and I had to pay 30 bucks, the tank was at the same level as when I picked it up and dropped it off in the same condition,, only drove it for like 55 miles !
Raquel SThere was nothing wrong with the service at the pickup location. The drop-off location had a dog which kept barking which made the process distracting and noisy. The main problem was I made a reservation at another U-Haul location in Pico Rivera. They couldnt deliver what was promised and they changed my pickup location without telling me first. As a result I ended up going over my mileage, which wasn't a lot but still, I had to pay extra for that. I do NOT recommend U-Haul at all to anyone anymore.

Theodore CRe- directed here 2 hours after renting my truck. Uhaul texted and called. I was driving - not safe to text and drive or use the phone while driving. You make a reservation and Uhaul changes the terms on both the pick up location and drop off location. I don't think I will use Uhaul in the future. On the Move Storage was an gated camp. Many of the storage units had tarps over their roofs. There was not a single Uhaul vehicle in sight. The posted requirements to rent a uhaul were beyond what was required in the pick up location. One other issue I had with the rental. The mileage I was allowed for the one way rental was too little. Uhaul personnel could not explain how this mileage was calculated other than the computer does the calculation. Train your people.
Edward HI was called by U-haul prior to rental day if I would be ok with a free upgrade to a 20ft truck since it needs to be returns to Torrance. I agreed and when I picked up the drop off location I could chose was close to my home. After pick up U-haul called and said they will send me the drop off location via text and read it out loud. This address was different from what was on the contract and discussed and further away! The rep told me she will add the extra mileage and I won’t get charged. When I dropped the truck the very kind lady told me I need to pay for 24 miles extra! I explained everything for her and after almost 30 minutes waiting and taking up my time I could used to finalize my move she discounted me the mileage. Also the new location closed sooner so I had to even hurry up with my move. So I do U-haul a favor and then I have to make adjustments all the time and in the end I need to fight NOT to get charged for what I was promised will be taken care of!

melina mOn Saturday, October 29,2022,at about 11:10 am when I arrived at the location, I asked the clerk, if this was a UHAUL office, and the other staff member made rude and completely unprofessional comments. They appear angry at me. There was no space to park my car,and they became agitated when I asked, if I could park my car at their property while renting their truck. They have very big property. Same staff member made other rude comments about me to someone outside of office, and while she was on the porch, and the other man in the car, they were talking very loud to each other, and she was asking her, if wanted to make a baby with her,DO YOU WANT TO MAKE A BABY WITH ME ? All these in front of customers ! Also, when I asked to use the restroom, she said, their restroom was not for public. I can go on and talk about other stuff, but I think, enough said. I have rented truck from UHAUL many times in the past and never complained. Talking about customers experience ! Just awful. I will never go to that location again.

Bettye JThe 2nd truck I got was dirty inside and had to ask for it to be cleaned out. When I returned the truck the guy lied and tried to charge me for gas that I didn't use. The first lady that helped me was very professional and friendly. The second lady was also friendly but one of their helpers not so much.
