Make the amounts you (U-Haul - the company) agree to in the reservation the same amounts on the contract at the pick-up location. It is really frustrating (close to making a person angry) when you give them one amount on the reservation and then another amount when they go to pick up the vehicle.Richard N.

The inside of the truck was very dirty and not clean also the gentleman didn't walk out and inspect the truck when we went to pick it up to reassure that everything was in working condition. Hi my name is Gabriel, owner of MoveMania Inc. This was neighborhood U-Haul affiliate. U-Haul must need to be more involved with the associates that bares their brand. I'm a small business owner of a moving company, and I'm a frequent customer of U-Haul. Let's start here....I requested for online for a 26 footer truck, and the nearest facility was Onyx car wash, on the Chicago Southside. I waited 35 minutes, for the car wash facility to open even though one person was said to be inside and they were to open at 9a, which inconvenienced me getting to my customer on time. No one answered ever answers the phone during business hrs. Someone finally opened the door after an employee standing was also waiting outside for to be let inside, as he was banging on the locked doors to indicate to whomever was inside that their were customers waiting. The door was unlocked as a gentleman let us in, however he seemed to indicate to someone on the phone he was leaving and he couldn't process because of prior engagements. Shortly afterward, He then proceeded to process. I requested for an extended time to return the vehicle at 6p, because initially he stated to return at 3p. Then after giving my Id and credit card information to the gentleman, he took me outside to the vehicle. He never walked me through the vehicle inspection, even after I asked him about the paperwork, he suggested that I go look for myself, for the mileage, inspection and so forward. He then took a small luggage bag, locked the doors and continue walking down the street. I did the service returned to the lot dropped the vehicle off 2 hours late, afterward only to be hit with late vehicle return charges, which I wasn't aware of. I called the U-Haul 877 number and spoke with a customer service representative to address my concern of the late fee as well as bad service and the rep stated because it's a neighborhood facility, it's little he can do to accommodate me, far as the late fee which I felt like it should've been waived. With the lack of information and help from this facility and mishandled staff, I feels as if the associated facility not alone failed me, but Uhaul as the brand failed with the lack of support thereof. I want to know in conditions such as this what is U-Haul willing to do to properly handle with situations such as this to accommodate consistent customers/partners of U-Haul??? Hi, When I rented the 15" UHaul, I asked for a dolly and paid 14$ for it! The dolly was not in the truck when I arrived. I immediately reported this, and yet still my receipt has a charge for the dolly on it! I am not okay with this. I had another problem with the final price of this order.
