I think there has to be better communication between u-haul and their centers as when I went to pick up the vehicle, they did not know I was ecpected.

The location and truck were fine. After renting the truck online, the instructions when I went to pick up the truck and get the key were awful and not at all user friendly. It took 30 minutes on my iPhone to go through all the steps and then the key code was for the wrong lock. Fortunately the owner of the location was able to access the key code for the correct lock box. If he hadn't been there, I would not have been able to get the key. Obviously someone had switched the locks on boxes 1 and 2, and the wrong key code was associated with te box I needed.

I still have not seen that my rental was returned- the site owner said I would get a email confirming the drop off. 4 days later I still don’t have confirmation

Of all my uhaul rentals this was by far the best !! Joe at PCT was excellent, communicated through the process and was super helpful. Made sure everything was in order as well as explained everything throughout the process.

I have rented from uhaul in the past and this was the first time I had such a difficult time. The truck was very clean but drove horribly, you had to constantly correct the wheel. And my situation where i had to call uhaul several times to try and resolve that i turned the truck in, then was charged for an extra day, then refunded, clerical error. It was just a bit of a headache. Did not go as easy as it usually has.

This was a complete nightmare at first, my first pickup location was suppose to be at Pompton Lakes at the lukoil, showed up and no keys, called uhaul 3 times and no one could help me, after a very frustrating conversation they relocated me to this location of Pompton Plains, I FINALLY saw a HUMAN to help me with try truck, if it was not for PCT automotive my move in experience would have been horrific, the day was saved souly due to the location accommodation, I am completely upset with the customer service department of uhaul, they also double charged me for the day, thankfully they fixed the problem and credited me for the charges

This was a very last minute rental and Dominic, the area manager, went above and beyond to help me locate a truck for my move. He and his team were extremely professional and courteous. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to rent a truck.

Your system had a location listed on it that was no longer associated with U-Haul (Route 23 in Butler, NJ). And when we showed up, the owner was rude and yelled at us. Then we had to drive several miles in the opposite direction to find a different return location. Then you charged us for gas because we had to drive so many miles to find the new location and used a gallon or so of gas. We had to call to get it refunded and that person was extremely rude and hung up on us.

The service person wasn't there for the truck pick up. I had to wait 30 minutes for her. I called for an inquiry on the truck itself and no one ever got back to me. I was charged $12 for fuel when I took a photo of the fuel gauge upon drop off and it was clearly above the requested return capacity. Horrible service.

The location was easy to find and the rental process was easy and quick. The truck I rented was so clean and well maintained. The oriole working here are so nice and the gentleman even helped me load the dolly I brought for moving. Such a great experience and I'll definitely be using them again in the future!

Make sure you keep the reservation pick up location where the customer REFERS to have it. I had to travel 1 hour into another state to pick up my rental. Totally unacceptable.
