Even though both pick up and drop off locations went smoothly I'm still not sure if I'll rent through U haul again. Your reserving a vehicle system absolutely sucks and I really don't want to ever have to deal with that again.Timothy W.

Outside and inside of the trailer was extremly muddy and dirty, I mopped up the inside and sprayed the outside down at a car wash. Was very displeased with cleanliness. Just moved moving boxes and was unhappy to track all that dirt insideMichal B.
These guys are GREAT! A couple days in advance, they let us look at different trailer sizes and see the inside to make sure it was what we needed. When we dropped off the trailer, they unhitched it for us and we were all finished, AWESOME SERVICE.KAREN B P.

Uhaul is an overpriced service disguised as an affordable one. $19.95!? 29.95!? no. cuz they charge .69 or .99 cents a mile PLUS make you fill the tank back up once you're done. Ridiculous. all in all, what I thought would be a $30-40 rental was over $100. would not recommend.nevan H.

Cab smelled of cigarette smoke ashes in ash tray, for some reason it only had 3/8 of a tank of fuel instead of full so of course I returned it with more gas than it had but no refund for that. Lady was rude at the counter. Had to pick up here 50 miles away from location I had the reservation and hotel room booked because you failed to get struck to the original agreed upon location. Wouldn't have been a big deal except I didn't get that cal until 2 days before the trip and couldn't cancel hotel reservations. The truck had drivability issues and was caked with mud in both the box and cab that I had to clean before loading. I've always had great service with uhaul but after this experience I'll rent a truck from a competitor.Jason H.

Order was incorrect, was not able to do outside for covid 19 as instructed and had to wait in-store while order was in error. Also 26 foot truck I ordered was not provided. I was contacted the day before saying I had to drive 70 miles round trip to Norfolk to get the 26 foot truck. I do not believe this was my issue, it was yours as I ordered a 26 foot. I was provided a 20 foot and it was not adequate and very frustrating. If I order a 26 foot and you confirm it, I expect a 26 foot and not cause me to drive 70 miles round trip and be notified the day before when I had movers arranged.Michael B.
When I arrived there, they didn't have the truck size that I had reserved about one month ago. Anyways, they didn't tell me that they didn't have the size I chose and decided to give me a bigger truck instead of telling me the issue and letting me pick the bigger or smaller size. As I wasn't comfortable driving the much bigger truck, I wanted to change and the person available told me that I couldn't change and she didn't know how to make the change. It wasn't even my fault that they didn't have the truck size I chose one month before the pickup. After 30 minutes on the phone with U-Haul, they did the changing for the truck and when I arrived in the location, had to wait around 40 minutes because the person had to call I don't know how many people to confirm the change and give me the right truck. Horrible experience with that location but phone customer service was quick to fix.Paulo S.

I loved the ability to rent a 10ft truck to do some somewhat major furniture rearranging. It was very convenient. My only problem is that the truck is not arthritis friendly. I had trouble from the start getting into the truck. I never bothered to get into the back. I was lucky to have people help with loading and unloading the truck. If Uhaul would provide truck with an extra step or a lower profile, my experience would have been perfect.Donna S.

I'm rating the location as poor because I reserved a trailer from Bargain Hunters in Norfolk and 2 days before my scheduled pick up I stopped by to make sure that they had my trailer. After the owner of Bargain Hunters made a phone call she informed me that I could have a free upgrade to a 6' by 12' trailer. I told her that I definitely wouldn't take a larger trailer. She then informed me that if I wanted the 6' by 8' trailer that I reserved that I would have to drive to Wayne to get it. I drove 45 minutes one way to pick up a trailer that I had reserved from a location 2 miles from my house. I was not even offered any compensation for the inconvenience. When a customer reserves a trailer from a specific location they shouldn't have to drive 45 minutes to another location.Beverly D.
Mileage and fuel level were wrong when the truck was picked up. No pads or furniture dolly were in the truck when I picked it up. Cell phone check in was impersonal and inflexible. Location staff were great, but U-Haul customer service is terrible! You should be ashamed!Gary W.

I was accused of locking the keys in the truck. I left them in the Dropbox and they still charged me a fee. After they called me to ask me about the situation I told them that it wasn't me who locked the keys in the van. And they still charge me for it. The next day they called to apologize because one of the supervisors lock the keys in that truck and did not report it to anyone. So I was not happy with that situation. And I was not aware that they were going to charge me.Juan P.

They did not give us a detailed receipt with what was paid and I had to return to the site to try to get another receipt so that I was able to get reimbursed. Then when I emailed the link to try and retrieve this so that I did not have to return to the site I was told that the only people to help me was the drop off location and not the help center that I tried to reach out to first. I am going today to try and get a detailed report with the amount that I spent on the UHaul so that I am able to be reimbursed for the Uhaul and my trip.Tiffany D.
