Sean ClarkClean the vehicle. I asked the owner "Is is clean"? His reply was yes. After walking a quarter mile to retrieve the vehicle when I open the doors there was mud all over the floor as well as food and dog hair on the two front seats. Pretty bad.

Richard BunkiewiczI purposefully chose self check in, however, when I got there thsi was not an option and I had to wait in line. I attempted to explain that I not only chose the self check in but had completed and asked where the keys and truck where. The gentleman then stated that he had to verify me as the driver with my DL. even as I explained the online check in had already done so. He was not only condecending but rude as he told me regardless I had to wait because he had to help another customer who arrived after I did. After eventually getting his attention he saw my check-in on my phone and gave me the keys without having to verify. Unfortunately the trucks are not near the store but on the opposite side of the back of the strip mall. When I asked was just told "behind staples" So I had to walk in the cold by myself to find it. As a person this makes me sad, worried and scared. Unfortunately as a woman I have to worry about my surroundings and having to find a truck in the back of a lot that is isolated, with a forest in the back and little supervision or safety procedures in place when getting and dropping cars off (had to walk back to drop keys) is non existen, even in a town that is relatively safe. Mark NovakWe dropped the truck off on a Sunday when the business was closed. The return process via phone was so easy. The instructions were very clear and understandable. Really couldn’t have been better. Our whole experience with U-Haul from reservation to return was excellent. Highly recommend!

William MellinClean the vehicle prior, We had to switch out one van for another and even that one had a heavy oil smell throughout. We had to put down tarps in the rear of the van because it was so dirty and had not even been swept out, The young staff were still learning on the the job which slowed down the rental and return process.

CHRISTOPH J NUCCIOWhen I picked up the truck I pointed out the damaged mirror and the girl made note of it BUT when I dropped it off at the New Jersey location the Jerk U-Haul guy wanted me to take it to another location an hour out of my way and when I refused he said he was going to charge me extra!!!! HE DID!! plus a cleaning fee even though I left the truck SPOTLESS!!! UHUALS IN THE NORTHEAST ARE ALL RIPOFFS AND CHEATS!!! I will dispute ALL EXCESS CHARGES, REPORT TO THE BBB AND FILE SUIT!! (I am a regular customer who rents trucks almost monthly, for more than 25 years, and this is the absolute WORST U-HAUL TRAFFIC AND MANAGERS EVER)

Paul TranquilliThe only bad thing is that we were called the day before to pick up the truck at a different location that was at least 30 miles away from the original location and we had extra mileage added on because we had to go a way out to pick up and get back to our home. I would hope the location change would happen way before the actual date of pickup and we wouldn’t get penalized for the extra mileage.

Paul TranquilliI had a disagreement with the employee regarding the fuel. He thought i was a few gallons short of where the fuel line started. He told me i can go to a gas station or pay ‘$11. I went back in the truck and saw the fuel gauge was well within where it needed to be.. i nicely told the employee and he didnt agree. It became very stressful and i just think uhaul shouldnt nickel and dime people for $11 when everything went well. I did get refunded but the employee seemed very agitated as did I. Just a useless and senseless waste of time and not needed IMO.

Steven LindnerTruck was in bad shape. 170,000 miles. Bad brakes. Bad transmission. Suspension was shot. Very rough ride. Doors were defective. Hard to close. A/C was not working correctly. No washer fluid.

christopher wilsonI requested 15ft truck from my area but had to go about 10 miles to a different location to get the truck. I was ok with that but the previous person decided not to bring it back at the schedule time and I had to settle for a 10ft truck at a location that was 40 miles out of the way. People should not be penalized because they only need truck one way. All locations should have trucks for one way travel and not have to go out of the way to get it.
Subrina CampI had picked a drop off location that was closest to where i was ending up and at the pick location they tried to get me to change it to one closer to where I lived, which I didn't want. An unnecessary argument ensued which took time. They finally hand wrote the address I had arranged on the paperwork.
Graham Argent-BelcherNo uhaul close to my home 07876 has a 10' truck. Closest location was 13 miles away in Masison nj. I got charges an extra $12 in mileage because uhaul vehicle location. Suggest charging by location billing address is vehicle is nit available within 5 miles.
