Two things: One, when someone calls for the price of a truck, please mention the mileage fee. I called, told the person that I needed a truck for a few hours, and was told it was $29.95. I was not told about mileage. Two, there is a big sign outside the door saying that masks are mandatory. That might be good information to tell YOUR EMPLOYEES, who aren't wearing a mask. You're lucky I didn't report you.bill H.
That lady at the front desk was very rude and she wouldnt even come out side to show me where it was or to hook it up. I had to do it. I rented it for 10 hrs and was charged for 24 hrs and brought it back in 2 hrs and still charged me for 24 hrs. Same when I brought it back. She told me to park it in the same place unhook it and I was free to go. No paperwork nothing she didnt even look at it when returned it.Nick P.

The trailer I rented was listed as 6 feet wide, the end of the trailer is recessed on both ends by about 10". This trailer isn't a true 6 feet wide and I couldn't use it. I needed to rent a different trailer.Eric B.

Uhaul phone reps, please record the correct date and time of rental when accepting the reservations. When I called the evening before to confirm my rental, the rep had the wrong date and time on their information. Aside from that, everything went well.Daniel B.

Although face masks are currently required in Wisconsin, the three employees in this office were not wearing masks, and one of them actually told me that I didn't have to wear a mask there. I understand not everyone cares about the well-being of others, but as a customer I would have thought U-Haul representatives would be more focused on the full customer service experience. Also, there were political advertisements present in the office which I felt were inappropriate in a workplace that was open to the public.Todd S.

There seemed to be too few staff when I was there. We waited 15 minutes for someone to talk to us. There was only one employee when we got there. Two other employees walked in with what appeared to be their lunches at about 1:22. I was waiting from approximately 1:10 - 1:25 while the one employee was helping another customer in a side office with no acknowledgement of us. People were helpful once they addressed us.Craig P.

Make sure your dealers do thorough repairs on trailers before sending them out . this trailer came to A&B from NC, and it was a disaster. Broken wiring all over trailer, bad lenses, and generally in very poor condition. Unacceptable!!!!Scott T.

I don't like giivng a negative review but this time I do need to. I felt like little to no information was given to me to understand the process even tho the staff was aware this was my first time using the U-haul service. No information was freely given - I had to keep asking questions. I was told a 10' truck was NOT on site and they would have to get one - then I was told to look at the van - I felt it was too small but was asked what we had and was repeatedly told the items would fit. Well they did not fit - not even close. After reloading the van several times to try different ways to fit the items in - there was no way it would fit. The 10' truck would have worked best as I originally requested. But now 2 trips needed to be made that would be costing me $55 more in miles much less the gas of the 80 mile trip AND OUR TIME!!! And I have family members wasting their entire day on this foolishness. You should have offered to get the 10' truck without trying to take the easy road and leaving a client with many apologies to be made to the family members for the added HOURS and the gas needed to use another vehicle to get the rest of the items. Really poor judgement on the staff . I took everyone out to eat as well because we went way past lunch and into supper time - the added cost was not necessary! Much less the added miles on another vehicle and gas as well. If you are the front desk and you have a NEW client - take the time to educate and assist with their understanding. To pick up the vehicle using our smart phones - was a long time process - we used 2 phones to get thru the process. There truly has to be a way to help your clients better and more conversation about facts and WHAT THE CLIENTS NEEDS ARE - rather than the fact someone doesn't want to get a 10' truck from another location. Disappointing and very costly for me - it would have been cheaper to rent the 10' truck rather than the van. The additional cost and time for my family and myself - was not worth the savings the staff had quoted to me. How do I recoup that money? How do I recoup that time? Extremely disappointing.linnea B.

Kind of big problem though was I setup for a 5X8 trailer, the trailer I got was actually marked as a 5x9 (same price) but I don't know where these measurements came from. The bed was really 4x9, I was lucky as the cart I was loading barely under 4 feet wide but if I had been banking on 5 feet of bed space I would have been in a lot of trouble.STAN L.

The truck interior was filthy. Dusty, dirty, made me pretty uncomfortable considering the pandemic we're in. I ended up sanitizing some parts of the interior for my safety, though I feel this should've been done already. Gas level didn't look entirely full so I didn't leave it entirely full, left it where it was when I got it. I've rented Penske and a nice larger size uhaul in the past and both were much nicer experiences.Jennifer K.
