We turned in the two trucks, which the site did not have room for. I felt the return site was looking for items to be able to charge us for, as having the trucks and trailers were putting him in a bind for space. He claimed the cabs were dirty (floors) and he was going to have to charge me for cleaning the cabs out, which I disagree with. When you climb in out out of trucks, you naturally carry stuff in off your feet. I've never seen anyone move and travel 9 hours and not transfer dust/dirt off your shoes onto floor mats. The one truck was rated to have 3/4 tank of gas upon return, which had 7/8 tank (1/8 over) upon return. The other truck required 9/16 of gas, and when pulling into the lot, showed 1/2 tank (1/16 under). So the return site charged me additional for being under the required amount of fuel, and for having to clean the cabs of both trucks. I would not recommend this U-Haul site for anyone renting or returning trucks.Raymond W.

When I was picking up my truck, I accessed my account through email. As part of the process, it sent me a verification code by email (the other choice was my home phone number, which doesn't recieve texts.) In order to see the code, I had to go back to my email inbox, and then I couldn't go forward to enter the code back in. Luckily, my wife was along and we used her phone to access the email verification number while I kept the verification entry page on my phone. When setting up accounts, it would be good to ask whether the phone number the person has on the account can receive texts or will be available while in the uhaul parking lot picking up equipment.Robert B.

Not pleased with customer service: The trailer light was not hooked up by P&T Sales in Clear Lake Iowa. That was just the beginning. I also had to wipe down dog hair from the floors and under the seats before I could load my belongings into the truck itself. I drove less than 50 miles and a tire on the auto platform shredded/blew out. According to the service company who came from Ames, Iowa to replace it, the tire guy said the tire would likely have had bubbling and not in proper shape when I left, due to the fact I didn't drive that far before I encountered problems. (I also waited until the next morning for the repair guy as per my request otherwise it would have been 11pm before they could arrive to help me. Which was over three hours after I called for assistance.) I had even paid $170 for insurance. Unacceptable considering I could have been alone on the side of the road at night. For 3 hours. There was also no windshield wiper fluid so that tells me fluids were not checked. I don't appreciate paying over $1400 to be caught in the rain, driving alone at night and realize that I have to stop off and fill up fluid that should have already been taken care of when I payed over $1400. I left a message the following morning to let P&T sales know that the tire shredded 50 miles into my trip (he did not check the tires beforehand) and that he didn't hook up the trailer light. The fact that I drove at night with a bad tire, and prior to my 1,192 mile trip, found out he didn't hook up the trailer light (which are basic things that should be done to ensure customer safety and to possibly prevent death) and the fact that he didn't call me back, therefore NO service after the sale will guarantee I will not rent with Uhaul again. I should have known when the P&T sales employee was somewhat rushing to finish getting everything ready to go in order to get to another customer going into the office, that the process was hurried and therefore unsafeWendy K.

Agent arrived late, after stated opening time. Truck was dirty. Agent was otherwise friendly. The location had an automated 24/7 facility for drop off/pick-up but I was not made aware of this by the UHall customer service rep that directed me to this outlet.heminigild M.

I've used this location twice, a year apart, and was very satisfied both times! Affordable pricing, clean equipment, easy pick-up and drop-off. The owner, Tom, is always super helpful, easy-going, and knowledgeable. He technically isn't open on Sundays but still let me drop the trailer off on Sunday. Amazing service! Try charging what the billing receipt says instead of double and had personal break issues so was a day late returning and got charged more than1.5 times the original charge in short rented a car hauler was told 62 a day for total bank card was charged 131 was a day late returning to the place I got it and got charged an additional156 to my debit card so no not happyPaul B.

P&T Sales made sure my equipment was at their location. Their business was very easy to access as they are 1.2 miles west or Walmart and 3 miles east of I-35. This business is off, old hwy 18 new hey 122. I would recommend this U-haul location to everyone. Very customers service oriented!Tom S.

The arrangements for pickup were changed multiple times which in turn made it very difficult to arrange the help I needed on my end. I believe everyone was doing their best to find a solution and I appreciated that. The experience did not leave me feeling confident that a reservation would insure that I would have a trailer and that shouldn't be a reflection on this site - but on Uhaul overall.Kay S.

P & T Sales did fine on their end, but upon return the billing calculation was amiss. I had been promised a certain amount of miles and the bill did not match, accessing a much higher total than had been estimated. We called UHaul to sort it out and although the total did ultimately get added up correctly, I departed without confirmation of that fact. The representative on the phone did not follow through while I waited and I was told that they would eventually figure it out. After all the trouble of moving, driving, loading & unloading, this seems like an inept way to end the experience.mike G.

These guys were amazing...they were there on time and even picked up the truck and brought to the moving site for me. They were in and out in just a little over an hour and I was on my way across state for the move. Tom contacted me shortly after the reservation and took over from there and all the way through the process from start to finish. No worries and no stress. We were supposed to have a one way to Denver colorado. We are now being told we must pay 800 dollars because the location messed up and put us down for an in town rental.Lucian S.
We were expecting to pick up the truck at 8:00 am on a Sat. morning. Instead we had to drive 40 miles on Friday evening to pick up the truck, return home, drive back to destination, another 50 miles to pack up because the place that had the truck (which was different than we had signed up for) didn't open until 12:30 pm. on Sat. Our original pickup place was only about a mile away from where we were packing, and we could have picked the truck up and packed it all in one day. Very disappointed we had all the extra mileage and time invested in getting a truck, not to mention leaving place of employment early to get there in time on Friday because they closed early.Randy R.
