I really liked the van that I rented, I do nit know what model year it was but it was very comfortable, easy to drive and was very clean. My only negative was the gas gauge needle was nit in the full range when I received the vehicle. I did return it with a full tank.

There is some VERY misleading information on the website. The locations are given NO authority to help your customers with issues and your central office is hard to reach. I had an extremely frustrating experience renting a truck and it caused me and the people who helped me move a lot of inconvenience. Plus, it cost me more of my hard earned money and valuable time than it should have. The location was polite and helpful but UHaul as a company really let me down.

I picked up the trailer on Saturday morning. when the attendant showed me the trailer he just stood by while I had to hook it up myself. I also had to instruct him to stand in the back and verify the lights were functional. Not a fault of the location per se but I had to very harrowing instances where the trailer became detached from my hitch. On the second occasion I was in the middle of a major bridge and was fortunate to be able to get both my vehicle and the trailer into the breakdown lane. This time when the trailer came off it totally ripped the drawbar off of my hitch. I found the nearest U-Haul site who suggested I bring the trailer to them to check out. I bought a new drawbar and limped the trailer to them where they told me the coupler on the trailer was totally worn out. They replaced the coupler and I had no further problems but every little bump in the road was a cause for anxiety. Not a pleasant experience at all. I will be seeking reimbursement for the trailer rental and the new drawbar I had to purchase.

Truck was dirty... Gum and gum wrappers in cab and dirt in truck bed.. Very strong smoke smell.

Clerk did not really know much about tow/haullight.Windshield wiper driver side needs replacing. They forgot my pkg of furn cover. Though a few problems I would rent again from them.They were very polite and I think clerk was just not familiar with tow/haul. NOT UNHAPPY

Make it clear that you have to return the uhaul where you got it. I got charged an extra 35 cause I couldn't return it in auburn. Ridiculous.

The staff were rather pleasant and helpful. They were able to get us all squared away and on the road quickly and efficiently. We took the truck to and from Franklin Mass which all around is a 300+ mile trip with no issues. Prices are very reasonable and it cost us a lot less than if we had done a one way rental from Franklin. We will deffinitely be going back here when we need another truck. Thank you! :)

I was threatened by a man Tom on the phone from U-Haul saying that he would punch my teeth down my throat. That was after an argument took place on my contract in which the door had broken and I had to arrange bringing it to another location finding my ride back coming back on another day when I was available to pick it up finishing what I had left to do by dumping the load that was in the back of the truck and then bringing it back to the original location in which I then had to find another taxi home. All I wanted was to be compensated for the days in which I did not use the U-Haul but Tom on the phone was very aggressive interrupting me and threatening me so that once I said one swearword he teed off and threaten dumping the load that was in the back of the truck and then bringing it back to the original location in which I then had to find another taxi home. I then brought the U-Haul back to the location once the dump run was completed and now I have been calling corporate to get this resolved because I am a repeat customer and this is just not my fault

When I picked up the trailer on Friday November 18th I was told to call an 800 number on Saturday so I could be told which location was the drop off. When I did that Saturday I chose a location in Westbrook Maine which was closed. I dropped off the trailer and left my contract in the drop box and thought all was good. I then received a call on Monday November 21st saying my rental was overdue. This was discouraging as I was NOT late in my eyes and don't like to be harassed for something I didn't do. I best not see any late fee charges on my CC or UHaul will be receiving a callback. Thanks

The entire ordeal was a nightmare. I had to pick up the truck and the dolly from two different locations and it not only put me an hour out of my way, but you also charged me extra for the extra mileage.

Confusion from the . My husband showed up to pick up the rental and was informed our trailer (closed box) was not available but that they were "upgrading" us to a larger trailer. The larger trailer was a an open utility trailer- not okay, since we needed a trailer that was weather protected. It ended up to not be true- because they clerks (despite asking my husband multiple times, had confused him with another rental). My husband filled out all the paperwork for the rental and had to provide all the info that had already been provided when I checked in online. He provided all the info only to have to do it again, because, once again, the clerk confused him with another rental. So after entering all our personal info into the other persons rental, my husband had to provide the info all over again so it could be entered under the correct rental. The pickup process (just from a paperwork/ standpoint) took over 45 minutes not including the time to actually hook up the trailer. This was despite the fact that we had already checked in online. (What is the point of checking in online and providing all this detail if it isn't going to load into the system automatically?) This location is clearly inept at rentals (it is not their primary business) and I would not use this location again.

Very nice, very personable. We were very concerned about gas because we had over a 150 mile trip. So we stopped twice to get gas. We had 3/4 of a tank left and I wanted to see if I could get any kind of a refund. The clerk was very customer service oriented and explained very nicely why I could not. Bummer though.

Tire burst on the way to Nashville only two hours into the trip. The service man you sent came from 2 hrs away... Delayed our trip by 3 hours just waiting. He checked the tire pressure on the other tires and discovered the trailer tires were inflated to twice what the pressure should be. Reason for the flat:( we are due some sort of recourse. you should tell people you charge extra for using a credit card, i will not be renting from uhaul again. i was also almost charged for gas, which i put in, and when they checked again, i left the truck with mlore gas than when i took it.
