truck was so dirty and gross. had to wipe out every part of it and sit on a blanket bc it was so dirty. I cleaned it out and wiped everything down- even used a blower to blow out the debris of the CAB!!

UHAUL CUSTOMER SERVICE - 800# wqs HORRIBLE... 1st person was horrible, in fact I was disconnected. She didn't call back. Then I called back 5-6 times, never got connected... called back and finally after being on hold for 20=+minutes got a person who was helpful.. But overall HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE from UHAUL. (not the pick up or drop off locations - both were good)

Although the truck was great, the express check in was a nightmare. No lock box, (which should be the norm for this service), and it took three different agents to finally sort out that the keys were left under the driver's seat. If you are going to offer express check in make sure it is operating in the manner the website describes.

Customer Service at pick up location was top notch, experienced and helpful. One of the best experiences I ever had with uhaul. Even made sure trailer was connected properly and all lights functioned properly and no damaged was present. Thank you! We originally instructed to drop the trailer off at the Stop & Shop in Loudon on Highway 72. Upon arrival we were informed by the person there that they do not take U-Haul drop offs. We called the U-Haul dispatch and were directed to Parklane Automotive. While they were not open, they do provide easy access to the lot where we could leave the trailer. No drop box for paperwork accessible from the outside of the building.

Had to connect to Uhaul with my phone to review pictures of equipment to verify current (prior) documented damage (condition.) Pictures (or possibly my phone) were not of a resolution to be sure of some small details. I see this process as problematic; first, what if I didn't bring my phone? (which I usually don't.) I'm guessing the person at the pick-up location would access those pictures...??? Second, my phone is a very low usage device (for/by me) therefore, I use a no-contract service and only pay for the minutes, text & data in low volumes. As a result, my personal cellular expenses are far lower than the average person. I should not have to use my cellular time (at my expense) to accomplish this task. Uhaul was slow in e-mailing me a paperless copy of the contract. I attempted to call but couldn't get through to anyone. Used web site "chat' function to get someones attention. At that point, I received the contract quickly...but that was nine or ten hours after the actual rental transaction at the pick-up location. As with the matter above, I again had to use additional cellular time and data to contact Uhaul to correct a flaw in what should have been an automatic process. Your policy states, "...possession of this equipment without a valid contract..." ...see where I'm going with this? Paperless contract?? ...for a 500+ mile road trip, that's a bad idea any way you look at it. Price was great! You did very good with that.
