My overall experience with Uhaul was sub par because I placed my rental well in advance but due to a change in plans I had to change my pick up location. I was VERY clear on the phone after being transferred 3 times until they gave me a Philadelphia agent, that I was ONLY changing my pick up location. Still dropping off at a different one. I requested to pick up on Veree Rd, but was told no and had to go to Roosevelt Blvd. when arriving to a large line, I was told that I was set up for I. Town which meant I had to bring the vehicle back there. Out of my way. I was still in Philly so in town should mean anywhere in town. The person at the store wouldn’t help so I had to call again and the person on the phone said to go to Veree Rd where I wanted to go in the first place. Now I was behind an hour because when we arrived they still didn’t have my reservation. Just a bunch of BS.

overcharged for rentals, spent excess time on the phone with customer service and was promised a refund for the charges that werent applicable. checked my account and was actually charged even more and overdrafted my account. never renting a u haul again and reporting this to my bank for fraudulent charges

I had serious customer service issues when I tried to change the size of the vehicle online and then called UHaul for help. After speaking to two employees, the second told me to call the location I was renting from. He had big complaints about UHaul's computer system. I ended up just cancelling original reservation and making a new one. A lot of confusion and time wasted just to change the size of the vehicle. Wanted to go with another company but location not as good.

Make sure the Uhaul vehicle does not smell like human pee, do not spray Febreeze all over the inside and make the seats and floors soaking wet. And make sure the back doors are functional and close properly.

I didn’t ask for a truck wanted a van had a conversation with him about a bad review a guy said he was charged for insurance and he turned around and do the same thing to me unbelievable got charged 1.99 a mile should’ve gotten charged 1.29 not good won’t be going back at all

Incorrect billing, only rented truck for three hours on one day, less than for miles, returned at 5 PM and was charged 92.10 for two days.
