We needed to move the rest of my mothers belongs since she passed a couple of weeks ago. and needed to do so during the long weekend; I made the reservation online to pick up on a Sunday; not knowing that most locations are closed on Sunday. When we arrived at Paul's Sunday morning luckily it is a gas station/convenience store and open. The person working called the owner and we were able to rent; even though I had not totally finished the reservation. They saved the day for us and we are thankful.DANIEL R.

The SmartPhone app is useless. A trailer was turned in but the app wouldn't work. U-haul 800 support said to just drop it off. A month later I get a bill for over $700 but a rental that had been turned in month ago.Jared T.

Only one light on the trailer worked. Did not realize this until well on my way to my destination. Could be a very dangerous situation that you would be liable for. Not my responsibility to maintain a piece of equipment I rent. The only thing I heard while renting the trailer is how short handed the facility was. Not my problemRandy E.

Excessive charges on my card. $700 ans and a week later I've yet to see any credits back to my account. This is rediculous. I hope nobody else has to ensure what we did. We also had to clean dog fecies from the back before able to use it. The miles were not correctly added. I was notified only 2 hrs prior to my reservation to pick up only to be told i had a new location 25 miles away at $1 a mile just to obtain my reservation. $50 off the top gone! I will make sure others are aware before they are taken advantage ofStephanie M.

Van broke down before I got to my destination only wanted 1day rental paid 464 had to be towed to my house unloaded van took 2 days to get van picked up couldn't get cashed out till they took van to where it needed fixed overall feel I should of got some money back since I never made it to my destination very upset will not use your service againLisa H.

Wanda was so helpful in making sure I received quality care and everything I needed. Excellent service! Wanda needs a RAISE! Seriously. Especially with all that she does, I noticed she was inside, outside, putting up stock, getting minnows, writing contracts. I asked her how long she had been there- so no matter what she makes- with her loyalty and the hard work she does, work for at least 2-1/2 employees- and working during this extremely vital Covid-19 period- she deserves a raise! Thank your loyal employees. She was there when I rented from this UHaul in 2014.Robbie M.

Do they were not a place I would recommend anyone the truck was dirty not clean and I fill the gas back we're it was when I left it they give my a key when I pick up did not help me at 77 at the other end of the park lot and I wash it at a car wash before I bought it back and put gas where it was when I pickup and when I drop the key off they didn't go out there and look at it they told me to mark on the paper where the gas hand was and write down the mileage I will never go back there again how an 77 year old lady was treatedDorthy T.

Vehicles should be clean, swept and or vacuumed, including the cab. I requested a 15' truck. and didn't realize it was a 26' truck until I was in an accident.Deborah W.

I paid for a dolly that was not in the vehicle. I opted for the pay out of pocket coverage on the vehicle, and yet was charged $14 for the safe trip plan anyway.David C.

The lady who helped was great, knowledgeable and helpful. I came back to make a change and the guy changed the location for pickup and didn't seem to understand the process. But he finally just told me to come by when I wanted it and pick it up. The representative from U Haul was great. All in all it worked out very well but I was a bit concerned for awhile.Harold S.

This review is not against Uhaul but rather against Paul's. Picking up the 4x8 trailer was a pleasant experience, with a very nice gentleman helping to hook up the trailer, as I am a 65 year old single woman with no help. The problem was upon returning when Paul, the owner, gave me a receipt & said I could go. I said I needed help unhooking the trailer and he said "I can't"! I said again that I was unable to turn the mechanism so I could lift the trailer off the hitch, thinking he had misunderstood but he said again, "I can't; you'll have to call somebody to come help you; It's not my responsibility"! He was not at all pleasant in the way he flat out refused to help; in fact he was downright rude & totally disrespectful. I don't remember ever being treated like that. Not only does it reflect on the Uhaul company but on the city of Guntersville as well. It was not as though he could not leave the register because there was an employee working. I then told him I have no one to call for help so he disgustedly went into another room to get someone to help, ridiculing me the whole time. It was mortifying, to say the least. A really nice man volunteered to come help. I have moved several times & have always used Uhaul with pleasant experiences but this time was an exception, I'm sorry to say.Shannon T.

I was called 30mins before my scheduled pick up to be made aware that my truck had not been returned and I had to drive 40 miles out of my way to get one. Not happy at all.Alexandria C.
Received a call from corporate 4 days after equipment returned insisting that I return appliance dolly immediately. I called corporate then it was decided that I did not return auto dolly, which I never rented. This company needs some serious organization and lessons on customer service.MARY R.
