Headlight is out and needs an alignment, always curves to the right when driving . And the inside smelled really badly

JOHN BRADLEYMoved my original pick up location, didn’t notify me, employees couldn’t find reservation, equipment requested was not available, all of this put us behind a hon our move and made it more difficult. This isn’t the first time this has happened. It’s a Pattern for Uhaul regardless of location. Will not rent from Uhaul again.
jason garvaleI would have rated 5 star on this location hadn't it been for the desk attendant wanting nothing to do with being responsible to check U haul trucks In/Out. Her words "we are most focused on being a storage unit facility" and acted put out that I came inside for check in . I recommend using the U-Haul app at this location; they seem to not want to be bothered. It's a new and clean location , convenient and easy to find.

GLYNNDON REIDrepresentative we dealt with was upset that something fell through on our move the day we rented the truck, and we were not able to get the truck back. I understand the 2nd charge for a 2nd day, however, I don't understand the extra 100.00 in fees. I returned the truck with the gas that was in it when I left. I was charged 50.00 in gas fees and 30.00 for an additional gas charge. The other 20.00 was for returning after hours, but the truck was returned before 5pm. The representative was seen leaving out the back and saw us out front dropping off the truck. Horrible experience. I don't recommend this location or Uhaul at all.

Patricia FritzeThe truck had a very strong smoke odor. Furthermore, it needed maintenance. Our drive to Asheville and back was very stressful as we didn't think the truck would make it without breaking down.
Mona ThindThe rental location was fine, fast and friendly service to pick up. The 10’ truck was not in the best shape, interior door handle was broken off when I picked it up, and the wooden rails in the back were missing some screws and made securing cargo a little difficult because the rails were pulling off the side of the wall when tightening the straps. I picked up the truck with 7/8 tank of fuel and filled it up full before dropping it off and was told if I over filled past the 7/8 mark on the fuel gauge we would get a fuel credit from uhaul but when I got the receipt by email since I dropped off when they were closed it said it was dropped off with the exact amount of fuel in it when I picked it up, and that was not the case. The fuel gauge clearly showed the tank full, the needle on the gauge was past the full mark.
Ed SweenyThe online check in process was terrible. Wasted almost an hour of my reservation trying to get the keys to the truck. It’s hard to follow and it’s not clear. The uhaul place never opened even though the sign said they would be back at 10am. The website went down when I tried to return the truck, so I had to come back. Inside of the truck wasn’t clean. It was an overall terrible experience.
Matthew PetrosianI'm not sure who maintains the vehicles but there were a lot of issues with the truck that i was not made aware of. The sun visor was broken(did not work), the parking brake lever was broken. Two very important safety features not working is a big problem. ASIDE from the maintenance of the truck, the facility and their staff was immaculate. The ladies at the front desk were very attentive and went out of their way to make sure i was comfortable.

Cari CrifasiI arrived at the location at the time of my reservation only to find the location closed and being operated virtually. There was a number on the door to call and thankfully the person who answered could come to the facility, but unfortunately not until at least an hour after the location was to open. she recommended that I try to find another rental and if not she would come. Finding a same day, present time rental is nearly imposssible on a Saturday morning. She arrived, I rented and completed my move. Vague instructions on returning the vehicle after hours.
Stan ThorntonI rented truck that was suppose to have a ramp with it. I called to upgrade the truck to the next size to make sure and the person assured me that it did have a ramp on the current truck I rented. When I got there to pick up the truck there was no ramp and no utility dolly I also ordered and paid for. Not sure where the communication issue happened but it was a little frustrating trying to move by myself without the equipment needed.

John HillMy location was changed last minute and I would like UHaul to honor the 50.00 guarantee. I have had a difficult time with customer service. The place I rented from is third party and could not help with this issue.
Arlene WelchDon’t auto select things on the website. I missed it and caused a delay me getting my truck bc I had to have the rental changed to eliminate the things I didn’t need. I then had to help the girl working carry everything back so she could get off work. If I had not showed up when I did I would have been stuck with 20 moving pads and a dolly I didn’t want.
KIMBERLY CAMPBELLThis was one of the worst rental experiences I have ever had. My reservation was canceled for an unknown reason. I was then told no equipment was available. I was finally sent somewhere to pick one up and was told it would be TruckShare but the app couldn't locate my reservation. Finally went inside and the rep was able to rent to truck but couldn't find my preferred drop off location so just randomly picked one. When dropping off truck the Uhaul app picture function didn't work. On top of all these problems I called customer service in between each problem and had hold times that varied from 10 mins to 29 mins. Over all one of the most stressful and worst experiences I have ever had. These comments are about Uhaul and not the rental facility.
TRAVIS DOSSIf a customer orders the pads and a dolly they should already be put in the back of the truck. I didn’t pick them up and didn’t know that they weren’t there until I left. I was charged for them even though I didn’t pick them up.

Daniel RadovicYou need to make sure the staff weeps out the trucks before we pick them up. And if people are going to ruin the experience with smoking in the trucks, they need to know like a hotel, they are going to pay a stiff penalty if they do. Also this location does not do a walk around before or after drop off. That makes me uneasy from using this location again.

ERIN FONDRENThe person at the u-haul in Greenville SC is not employed by u-haul and could have cared less about us as he checked us in. This is the second rental in the last couple of months as my family was cleaning out my Daddy's home as he passed away December 28, 2019. I rented the trucks to bring furniture, etc that I was receiving from his estate. The agent in charge on Friday did not bother to look at the condition of the truck with us. He loaded up the blankets we rented, shut the back end and walked away. We had been told to turn the truck in in our hometown by Sunday 12/13/2020 by 4 pm. When we filled up the truck and went to turn in the truck about 3:30 pm today and was informed that we were late and owed an additional $59 because the agent in Greenville SC put in a completely different turn in time. If I had known how this rental was going to turn out and how were going to be treated, I would have chosen the last place we used, even though it would have meant more time and mileage to get there. This was a very emotional time for me and my husband and to have been treated this way was inexcusable and ended up costing me more money than I had budgeted for. I am extremely upset with this experience.
