Mike CTruck smelled like Cigarettes. No Gate code was provided so we had to wait to pick it up past our pick up time until the gate opened and then the scanner wouldn’t scan my drivers license and then when we went to drop it back off after hours because the hours set for pick up and drop off options were outside of their hours we also couldn’t get in to drop it back off so we had to wait until the following morning to drop it off.

Patrick VThis location was closed on Sunday and I was well informed on the gate access. My truck was great only I had no idea where to proceed to get out. The gate was locked and I had trouble as to where and how to open it. No one there to ask. I tried to call the support line and they where clueless. Finally I saw one person actually driving out from the storage area and he opened the gate for me as he exited. I was never told about this.

Hermes ROrder reference number: 22240249 Order reference number: 23376848 I had to deal with about a 2 hour delay and multiple phone calls because U-Haul decided to change my original preferred pick up location for absolutely no reason. This caused my entire trip to be derailed and I was given absolutely no compensation or grace for the time that U-Haul wasted of mine. The Viva Cargo Express location on west highway 50 should no longer be able to operate with U-Haul. The mini storage on south highway 27 was quick and easy (and that was the reason I had wanted to pick up there in the first place, and the explanation from the U-Haul people that they changed my reservation to accommodate the Viva Cargo location not being used often is not acceptable to me), though they did not properly note where the gas levels actually were on the vehicle.
Derek HI wish i got the name of woman who help us because she was AMAZING. We were having issues with renting the U-Haul online and finishing the contract. She was great about helping everything go so smoothly. Gave us tons of good information and great directions for drop off. Overall a 10/10 experience!

Harrison MWe returned the fuel at the exact level we received the truck and they charged us for two gallons of gas anyway. There should not have been a fuel charge at all.

I had a rental confirmation for a enclosed trailer when I got to the store location the folks at that location had brought over to the front of the office the trailer, yes the trailer was waiting for me saving me the time to go to the back and getting it, if you don’t call this supreme customer service I was so happy impressed these are the things that make wanted to keep coming back, thank you very much, I hate myself for not remembering the guy’s name who I was told brought the trailer up 👍👍 kudos to him

Bill SThis location is not open on Sundays, making returning the vehicle a hassle. I imagine many people need a truck rental on the weekend...not sure why these folks can't be bothered to be open on this day.

Making a phone call to (352)242-6638 the phone number on Office door, the location office hours were reference and informed the UHaul Truck & Auto Transport were sitting at the drop-off location at 5:38PM Friday 6OCT2023 during normal UHaul Office hours, Two-Days Early.

jorge cI reserved a trailer for a 2pm pickup and arrived shortly before 3pm. She said it was good I showed up, because U-Haul will sometimes cancel the reservation if you don't show up within an hour of the reserved time. It would be helpful that this was stated obviously on the website when the reservation is being made so a customer doesn't lose their reservation. Nowhere did I find a statement about this, so I had no reason so think it mattered exactly what time I showed up. Otherwise, everything about the rental went very well.

Lisa GWe had no way to get into the gate after hours. We called and were on hold for the longest time and never go through to anyone. We got there 15 mins before our rental was due and finally someone came who had a code and let us in. We returned the truck, then we’re stuck inside with no way out since we had no code. Again started calling and never got through to anyone. Eventually someone else was leaving, but they didn’t know how to get out either. Finally someone had a code and let us out. It was an absolute disaster.
