Truck broke down â€œstarter friedâ€ and took 3 hrs to fix. Mechanic was fantastic FYI. Had to store all stuff at my house as the loss If 3'hrs do seem allow me to get to it storage before truck needed to be back.Micheal H.

Service was excellent, however, we had to travel and use personal vehicle to and from uHaul pickup without compensation. Pick up location was also hard to locate in gas station and did not verify IDs or any type of personal information. All check in was done on a cellphone without any exchange of information - somewhat concerning as we were unsure as to if it was a registered uhaul location.Liliana B.
The truck was clean but real bad smell in it smell like garbage . We were charge $149.94 for a 2 hour rental charge a ridiculous amount for millage and charge tax on gas which we already pay tax on gas that is paying tax on the top of tax which is not legal They did not know anything did not explain anything to us all we knew is that we were renting a truck for less then 2 hours and paying $29.95 +$15.00 for insurance + tax ,did not even give my husband the bill when we return the truck because she said they were to busy and she send it by email ,I think it is because they would have had an argument with my husband if he would have seen the price ,ridiculous price .Not fair and when I was talking to a lady last night about it she said she was sorry and we should have went to a dealer ,that is crap they rent your equipment they should know how it works and tell you what you are paying for ,they did not even know how to open the back of the truck to show us the ramp they did not know anything it was not fair to us and it sure is not fair to anyone else who goes there to rent anything ,she also said they give me a discount that we put 100 miles on the truck no we did not the mileage was 102937. and when we took it back it was 102984. comes up to 47 miles . This is not fair for l2 hours we paid 149.94 never never would we have rented the truck if she would us explain it to us .She also told us the truck was only for 3 hours ,the $29.95 is suppose to be by DAY .Never will I ever rent a truck from your company again and the lady I spoke to said sorry nothing she could do .Very disappointed with choosing your company ,will never recommend you to anyone I know .Robert R.

I was told I would receive a 20' truck and I got a 15' instead which made me make two trips which increased gas and mileage. Terrible service. I am never using Uhaul again.Niran M.

Make sure the truck box is swept out .... when picked up the inside of box was covered in gravel and sand ..... can was dirty also .... and I bet was not wiped out with sanitizer .... do to the covid virus .... someone should think about this .... but the truck was ready and in good running order .... pick up location good ... counter person was kind and polite ....FREDERICH B.

Service was terrible. Got the run around for 45 minutes when returning the truck. The uhaul site was all screwed up. They ended up charging my credit card 4 times for the same service. Tried to fix this with them and they made me call someone else. Credit card gas 4 charges on it. Word of mouth goes far in small towns. I have nothing good to say about this service. It's the worst I've ever had. And then all the extra work I need to do because they screwed around and charged me four times on credit card I have to make all these phone calls. Next call I make will be a call about faud from the store with uhaul rentals in Woodstock Ontario at petro CanadaMARGARETDARLENE B.

Had to go to 3 different locations for to pick up my truck. Apparently the term "reservation" doesn't mean anything, and the staff were of no assistance, just had me running all over the city for a fictitious truck. Even with the print out of my booking with the pick up address was useless. After an exhausting search around the city I was able to find the 1950s truck that could barely do highway speeds, and was given the vehicle with a half of tank of gas....thankfully I took photos. Then when I went to drop off the gem, I told the attendant that I used 1/4 a tank of gas, and she proceeded to tell me I had to fill the truck. Thankfully after she saw the photos she said that I only had to fill a quarter of a tank....so how much gas is that....no one knows because it wasn't filled up when I got it. She told me it would cost 90....what.... apparently she was sick on gas price day during her training at the gas station, so I best guessed at how much it would take for a quarter of a tank but certainly was no where near $90. What an organized mess, not to mention as the customer driving all over Timbuktu looking for their rental because the pickup location can change it a dime's notice with not even a follow-up email......POORPaul J.

When returning I got a text that said that I could do it through mobile. When it came time to return the truck the site kept saying take pictures even after doing so more than ten times.Valentine J.
Wipers were not good inhad my husband have to fix the rubber around the door it kept falling when door opened. I also order and appliance dolly there was none there and I had to pay 2 guys to come help last min to move the fridges that we could not lift. Location fine the quality not and I was upset that I just don't get charged for the dolly that does not help when someone booked it I would not have booked it if I did not need it.MICHELLEMARIE K.

I ordered an appliance dolly with a truck one month in advance and the truck did not end up coming with the dolly when I arrived. When people are planning a move they expect to get the tools they request through a reservation. This missing dolly interrupted my as I had many appliances to move. It's too bad I had this experience as my previous experience with UHaul involved a 2000km move across the province and I was really impressed with my Uhaul experience and now I'm not sure if I would use your services again.MARKD S.
Sticky residue left in cupholders from previous rental, including garbage etc. No appliance trolley at site although it was requested weeks in advance. Overall it was fine and not an issue, and they let us change our pickup time, but the cleanliness was questionable especially during COVID.NATASHALYNN B.

The vehicle had no gas. It took 50 minutes to ge the keys to the truck I had to pay movers an extra $75 because I was late I filled the truck and because of that I ended up leaving it with half a tank of gas..so U-Haul got Even more money out of me.AMANDANICOLE G.

1. The online booking and pick up procedure was a nightmare!! I was at the store for over an hour trying to get the truck (after I had it pre booked online). And during that process I was told I had to use the employees cell phone to enter my credit card information or I would not be able to get the truck. I will not be doing this again because putting my credit card info int someone else's cell phone makes me VERY UNCOMFORTABLE. 2. Upon returning the truck the online procedure again failed to work properly wasting even more time. When I signed into my account to start the return process... there were no rentals or bookings to select. 3. When I returned the truck to the Petro Canada store I put apricot $10 in gas in it to bring it back up to just under half a tank on the gauge ( just as it was when I picked it up) I was further charged for fuel again on my bill. The employee said there is nothing he can do it is a â€œuhaul issueâ€ and I would have to go after them for it. This is also in acceptable. Note: I only had the truck for 2 hours and drove approx 40 km. The truck was clean and in good working condition and I have no complaints but because of the service, being double charged for fuel and having to put my financial info into someone else's cell phone I will unfortunately probably not recommend uhaul or use the rental service in the future.Walt J.

Scammed for $148.64 worth of fuel when I returned the tank full and drove less than 100 km. Luckily I checked the receipt even though the attendant confirmed with me that it was full at the time. My receipt showed that I returned it only 1/4 full which was inaccurate. Quick to give me a refund but disappointing that it happened. Make sure you check your receipt...Danelle V.
I only received a quarter of the tank to go all the way to Mississauga and back (estimated/quoted for 260km) which is just ridiculous. On return of the vehicle the cashier called the manager to review the process of fuel (she was very uninformed), she did not say that i needed to fill up the quarter of the tank. The assumption was that it was part of the $0.69/km, but if that was not the case it would have been nice to be told that, especially after she made the call. It seems like the people there dont know what they are doing and the service was terrible (nice people but terrible service). Also my quote online did not include any additional charges for fuel. I received the following charges: $30.00 for Fuel Fill-Up Service Fee $49.99 for EZ Fuel SalesKALPESHBHAIJAYAN P.
