Roger WenThe van that was assigned to me was filthy. I can’t believe that they actually rent out vans or trucks looking like it did. I had to pick up a new couch and I had to put it in that filthy dirty van. When I got back I complained about it and all she said was I won’t get a cleaning fee. In the long run my couch still got dirty from all the debris and dirt. The front part of the van was Worse.
Leatrice HatcherNot a normal U-Haul store but was close to where we needed to go. It had been raining hard recently and the parking lot was full of muddy puddles. We were prepared but a better parking lot would be more inviting. The personnel were very friendly and helpful.

George HalaholoThis rental experience was awful. I made my reservation in advance for a close location. When I arrived at the location they told me that the reservation got transferred to a location 40 minutes away. I asked why I wasn’t notified prior of the change. The agent told me that I should have been contacted, but sometimes they don’t do it. This was very troubling. I had a moving crew loading up my house. I made some calls to discuss this with customer service. Their attitude was that this was no big deal that the reservation location changed. Since I was never contacted, I didn’t know which location had my trailer. I went to two locations to actually find the right place. I questioned the agent at the pick up location of the situation I have been put through. She too said that this is a normal occurrence. Not sure when customer service became so difficult to obtain. U-Haul definitely needs to focus on providing higher customer service. This will be my last transaction I will do with U-Haul.

Julian MacDevittI made an appointment to rent a car trailer 1 days prior to picking it up when I arrived the person who help me get the trailer mounted on truck then started to check the lights found out that the left light was out I banged the light with my hand and it came on and then back off like a short or the light was out the person that was helping then went on to tell me that they didn't have another trailer and that he did not have time to look at the light or replace any lights that I could take it or not customer service really sucked because he was more worried about his business more than the uhaul business that they were running on the side unfortunately he didnt even offer to look around for another uhaul dealership I needed to more this car that day so I took a chance on getting a ticket I have video of light not working I think I should be compensate for taking a defected trailer and this business should lose their authorized dealership for outrageous and disregard of safety for everyone one the road.

Denzel WashingtonThe location operator was very unfriendly and unhelpful. Starting with the phone being answered with only "Hello". This forces the caller to ask whether this is U-Haul. I called the Friday before my Monday rental in an attempt to verify my equipment availability at the 9:00 AM opening time. "It depends on whether the trailer is returned by the previous customer" was my reply. Another call the next day, Saturday, was answered, "Hello, please hold". Five minutes on hold, then the call was disconnected. A call the following day, Sunday, to the 24-hour call center was answered. After I explained the treatment I'd received from the local dealer, I was advised that the computer system indicated that my trailer was at the site so would be available for my rental reservation the next day. While completing the paperwork at the dealer, he argued with me about my SafeTow coverage election. After the hookup and as I was leaving, the safety chains were dragging on the ground. When I advised at the operator of the problem, his answer was "You can twist the chains some more to make them shorter". Thankfully, I had some bungie straps and was able to support the chains midway to prevent them from touching the ground. My reservation was for 8-hours and my drop-off time was clearly shown on my reservation as 5:00PM. The dealer told me to be back by 4:00 or face a charge for another day. When I returned the trailer at 3:00 PM, there was nobody there. After a call to the U-Haul call center, I was advised to just drop the trailer on the lot and the dealer would handle the check-in. Then I discovered that the U-Haul app has a provision for customers to self-checkin their equipment including taking photos of the equipment and basically clearing it for the next customer. All-in-all a most unpleasant rental experience mostly due to the behavior and lack of customer service by the local dealer.

They provided me with the same size vehicle I had booked in less than 15 minutes, despite several other customers with similar issues.
Chang ChenVehicle had a check engine light on. Informed the shop and they claimed it was a sensor. I followed behind Vehicle and brake light didn't go off. Asked husband if he was riding brakes. He said absolutely not. Returned well before 4 hour time limit. Was charged for an extra day. Had to straighten that our online. Not happy , overcharged and not a good experience at all.

Paul WhittenI drove 20 miles. The truck overheated. There was no fluids. I was stuck for 3 hour in 95 + degrees heat. I spoke to multiple people that apologized and that they were going to note the experience so I could have an adjustment made. That never happen. The only time I was contacted by U-Haul was to show me what I was charged for: $125 and an invoice for $8 because of bridge toll. There was no follow up. No consideration. I will be using Penskee or another U-Haul competitor going forward. Terrible experience.

Jose LuisThe inside of the truck was not clean. It was dusty and the back of the truck was not clean either and the dolly was not in the truck I had to go back in and get the dolly. He did not roll it out for me and it took him from Saturday at 1pm until Monday morning to close out my transaction which caused me to be over drawn on my account.

By the time I noticed that I received an email with the link on how to properly return rental ( take photo of mileage, back if cleaned, rental if any damage, etc, I had already returned the key. Other than that I had an overall wonderful experience. Thank you.
phil magallanesThe person behind the counter couldn’t be bothered to help me with the return. I was asked why I was returning it there if I didn’t rent it there. I informed the person that the contract stated I was return it to this location. He then asked for my last name, if it had gas, and if it was clean. I said yes and tried to hand him the key and was told to just put it down.
