Dennis CheuvrontSo uhaul let me down but this store saved the day. Made a reservation online 3week in advance only to be told a day before that there was no truck for me. Makes reservations pointless. Was left with no choice but to call local store myself to see if they had any by chance- something scheduling should have done for me but didn't. Pilgrim had a truck scheduled for drop off later. He went an extra mile by calling the customer what time they would drop off so he can put me on that truck. Kinda interesting that uhaul scheduling,despite a 3weeks reservation, would just drop me without an effort to find me alternative while an independent contractor would go above and beyond

Stacey BarnesThe people are nice, but the truck light switches were not properly mounted, which required me to have to dig around under the dash to operate the lights. That was a huge hassle, sometimes causing me to stand in the rain to get the correct angle to turn the knobs. But the light timer wasn't working either, so the battery ran down. ln the excitement of the dead battery, I locked the keys in the truck. Then customer service told me that I would have to pay $210 our of pocket to get the truck opened because the smart move insurance does not cover lockouts. I called a service myself and paid $75. It ended up being a most unpleasant move.

Glenn ScheuermannEverything was fine except the check engine light came on (and stayed on) about 1/2 way through my trip. Did not feel comfortable loading up the furniture 75 miles away and risk being stranded between Abbeville and Baton Rouge. Aborted the move and Reuther truck. Kind of a fail.

MICHAEL HOLLINSHorrible experience. Would give this location 0 stars if I could. Terrible customer service from the associate. Of all my years renting from U-Haul, this was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had. First, she had an attitude when I came into the store for assistance with my pick up, then complained about the condition of my phone when she attempted to “help” me check in on the app. She went as far as arguing me down about how I arrived after U-Haul closed, even though my reservation was the 24/7 check-in option just in case I had an issue getting there at the time of the reservation. Customer service over the phone was more helpful getting me checked in than the associate standing less than 5ft away from me. Not to mention the condition of the vehicle— lots of dings and dents, as well as the cab being filthy. The truck didn’t even have a full tank of gas. Never picking up from this location again, nor would I recommend this location to anyone.

Jared VicknairI rent very often from uhaul and was very disappointed when I called to ask for a 15 to 30 minute extension turn in time of my unit and was told 1 minute late I would be charged for a complete day of service 😞I understand it’s business but sometimes curiosity is a option.
STEPHEN ELLISThe vehicle was clean except for some fluid that was on the floor board area of the driver side. It was either oil or transmission fluid probably. It was not just a few drops but appeared to be an ongoing leak, but due to the location of the fluid I doubt it is leaking into the cab.
Nathan SpicerTruck was pulled up for when we arrived. It did have a funny smell, the doors did not close easily, windshield and interior was dirty. Was informed to bring the truck back full of gas but when I drove off it did not have a full tank of gas. I did tell the lady but got no concession.

Mark FournetMy renting of a storage room and U-Haul truck was flawless. Several weeks later I called Pilgrim Storage on consecutive business days. Each time I left a message which included my name, #, and request for a call. Neither message ever received a reply. About a week and a half later I called a third time and the matter was promptly handled. If not for that I would have rated Pilgrim 5 stars, but if one cannot or will not answer the telephone or respond to requests for a call back, what rating can one expect? MAYBE I would recommend Pilgrim Storage. This survey disallows me from submitting it without answering all questions.

cynthia shelmireThe UHAL rental was great, and the pick-up location and the customer service were awful. I will not recommend this location nor will I ever rent a UHAL from this location. The "manager" was extremely rude, racist, and unprofessional. When we arrived tot he facility well over 15 minutes before closing time. We'd realize she'd had closed the office early, thankfully she lived right over the store, and was able to come down, but when she spoke to us she condescending, rolled her eyes to almost every sentence, and kept yelling because we made her leave her apartment. She kept insisting that our "issues" were with UHAL not her. Although the only person making it difficult he got upset my mother and I began to speak our native language, she said "in this store, you can't speak Mexican, only English" this is when I got upset and told her that she was ignorant and disrespectful. She asked us to leave and I told her not until I got the keys to the UHAUL I had paid for. Im not blind to racism, I know it exists everywhere, my family and I have experienced it many times, But the fact that UHAUL is doing business with people and companies like this is sad.

RHETT SABADIEWhy cant toll charges be posted to my NTTA tag which I already paid for instead of on the trailer pulled by my truck w/toll tag?! These fees are outrageous and it happens Every time! Admin fees were 30% of the entire ticket and a 1.00 admin fee on a 1.23 toll is utterly outrageous!
