My issue wasn't with the drop off location but with the customer service number. The drop off site was closed which meant we had to do a mobile check out. I tried doing that over the phone but was told I had to do it myself. Fine. So I downloaded the uhaul app and still could not find my reservation anywhere to check out! I then called the number again and sat on hold for atleast 10 minutes, finally got a person, who checked me out in 2 seconds. Why the need for sitting in hold and a second call? This should have been done the first time, also, if you are going to force digital on people to be cheap and save money on hiring people atleast update your terrible app.James A.

You could have an employee actually on site for scheduled trailer pickups so the customer's time and the service center's time is not wasted trying to track down the employee. Also, better instructions should be given to customers on how the trailer dropoff procedure includes an online component that needs to be completed onsite.Kira S.

When I picked up the truck, I had to walk to find the truck, then back to the key box, back to the truck and again. I would recommend making the steps either limited or moving things closer. I also picked up this truck on E. I have a receipt for $60.02 to put gas in it within 10 minutes of picking it up. I feel a warning on the level of the gas when it is that low should be given.Kerilynn B.

i had to down load the "truck share app" in order to use actually rent the truck. I actually had to call the local number and speak to the agent who was really awesome and he had to give me the code for the keys on the lockbox. I used the truck for less time then needed and returned it. I put the keys in the drop box and again called the number to let someone know the truck was back and the agent asked me to leave the keys over the visor. She seemed annoyed that I didn't and left them in the dropbox (per the instructions) on the app and paperwork. Why would I leave them over the visor. Then I get my receipt and now I'm being charged a "Cleansing fee and cleaning tax"? Are you kidding me??? This truck was filthy on the outside and inside when I got it and now you figure Ehh we'll just charge this guy to clean it, he'll probably look at his receipt." I didn't even move anything that was dirty. Never again with this company.Frank C.

We were scheduled to do an in-person pick-up of a truck... When we arrived to pick it up, there was a chain across the opening to the â€œofficeâ€ and a sign that said â€œUhaul closed today go to uhaul.comâ€ .. Well luckily after an hour and a half, several calls to customer service, we got it figured out. I'm sure there are people out there that schedule an in-person pick up for a reason including people who aren't comfortable with online keys, codes, etc. we were very disappointed with the location but the truck itself was fine...Robert L.

I wish U-Haul had a clearer explanation of what to expect when using the self-pickup and drop off with a phone. It took much longer than expected and I wish I could've filled some of the information out ahead of time instead of impeding into my rental time and the time after the rental was due back. I did not take pictures of the inside because by the time my phone told me I had to, I had already locked the truck and put the key away. I would probably not recommend using the self pick-up and drop-off to a friend or family member.Meghan W.

Extremely unhappy with this location. If I hadn't rented a U-haul from a different location 2 weeks ago, I would have put this entire company on my blacklist. The vehicle odometer was recorded incorrectly and the door lock broke so I was unable to access the cab. I understand that sometimes things happen- but what was completely unacceptable is that even U-Haul corporate was incapable of getting in touch with the location owner. He was completely off the grid and unable to resolve our problem. This led to spending 2 hours in the parking lot of the drop-off location with U-Haul corporate- after a long day of work and moving. Terrible customer service and beyond unacceptable in this day and age.Kenneth A.
Very nice and accommodating Location Dispatcher but the truck was full of broken glass. It was not just a couple of pieces either. It must have gotten rear ended. Also, I was given mis information about the insurance. And my gas gauge was recorded a quarter of a tank over the actual amount I had. I needed to gas up first thing . . . which also meant I ended up not only returning with more gas than I received it with but on top of that I was charged additional for the gas.DARLENE R.
Get customers in and out. Not making us wait an hour to pick up the trailer. He may have apologized but took forever to help. When he said he would help or be with us it was a good 5-10 minutes before he did and that's with no one else being there customer wise. The key in my assigned lock box was not the correct key to my assigned truck. We did notice however that to open my lock box, all we had to do was change the first number a notch or two so we tried all the other lock boxes until we found the correct key. Before that we also called the 1-800 number and the local number, but were on hold for a combined 40-ish minutes. Even though we started the check-it process at 10:00 on the dot, we didn't leave the lot until 10:33 and it still said my return time for 4 hours of use was 2:00. We had it back in time, but wasted 30 minutes trying to get the right key. Horrible experience. Also the vehicle's engine light was on and the steering wheel is badly out of alignment.Ashley D.

after driving 2 miles, I noticed a screw deeply imbedded in the front left tire. I needed to drive 70 miles and wouldn't take the chance of a flat. this truck was not inspected when returned before I rented it. 2 1/2 hours later, a service tec replaced the tire. When you are moving, you are on a schedule. u-haul set me and the people helping me way back. An inconvenience to all. No discount, not a dependable company when your time counts. JP NYJohn P.
Dave, the customer representative and owner of the business in Clifton Park provided outstanding service and he is a credit to your organization. He provided me with all the information needed and he was up front with me by telling me that although I had a reservation it was no guarantee there would be a unit available on the day of pickup. He told me he would drive up to an hour and a half in order to make sure I had a unit if necessary, and he provided me with the number of the U-Haul dispatch personnel si that I could call and remind them that I would need a unit on the day of "pick-up." The U-Haul system called Track-Share 24/7 is terrible. We waited almost a half-hour while our approval authorization, which never came. We ended up calling the local central dispatch, where a VERY helpful individual (Rachael) completd the process. Apparently, there were numerous others that had similar prbblems.
