Truck was definitely clean enough to use, but there was some trash in the drivers side door. My appointment was at 9am, so a quick sweep of the trucks at the end of the night might have made it an even better experience. Other than that, worked great, seamless.

The gas station owner was incredibly helpful and nice - I'd recommend dealing with them directly for pick up and drop off. The uhaul online check in process is a mess.

The truck was dirty inside and out. We also asked for 6 blankets and got five. The staff are not very customer focused.

Van was filthy outside and in. Clearly had not even been driven through an outside wash in months. They charged me for an “after hours fee” even though I returned the vehicle at 2:00pm. I've emailed them about reversal of the fee, and no response.

System error caused me to wait 1hr at pickup location. Equipment rented was not in vehicle at time of pickup (furniture dolly & utility dolly), causing extreme delays in moving. No alternatives to address missing equipment at location.

When confirmed for a specific location, don't change the location later. This applies to a prior rental through the 800 line. Ryan, who handled this rental is an asset to your company.

The automated system is frustrating to use. Providing a second person to verify my identity delayed the process and i lost time on the rental as a result.

Have a conversation with the gas station attendant that manages the keys to the vehicles. He is very kind & friendly to the other patrons that frequent the convenience store. For some reason there seems to be an issues with him handing over the key to said vehicles when I show him my confirmation number including the address to the Playa Vista Shell station and pickup time. His remarks after reading the notes on the smartphone application 1st time around were (in sarcastic fashion) “did you make a reservation?” The second time “this is really strange, I'm gonna call the guy!” Forgive me for my ignorance, perhaps there have been a rash of U-Haul Vehicle thefts from this location whereas the individual that completes the mobile check out process, shows the confirmation, then steals the vehicle? I have a reservation scheduled for this upcoming weekend (the 26th) and there are two things that I expect NOT to happen. 1.) My reservation get moved last minute to the Rodeo or Santa Monica locations as it has happened on two recent rentals and 2.)That this dame attendant does not give me attitude over renting a van from a location that I regularly rent from. There should be no change in his disposition or any discrimination on his level of professionalism for any patron that enters this establishment for “customer service!” Please convey my concerns as this is an extremely convenient location and the gentleman that runs this location is extremely accommodating and professional. I love how he conducts business and appreciate his efforts. The attendant behind the counter, not so much. Thank you for your time!

Truck had change oil soon light on. Not cleaned. It is a convenient location and the person there was polite. However, the vehicle needed attention. Dirty outside n inside if cab. It smelled due to old moldy food left in box under seat.

The communication across the board was sub standard and as a result and currently in discussions about charges applied to my bill that are laughable (until I really get charged) at best. Very disappointed in my experience al around, need to rent a truck again in a few days, and will not be using this company again.

I rented from here, no issues until I tried to return and it was refused. They said they were not accepting any returns however, we were scheduled to return there. I was contacted the next morning stating it was a mistake and that I would not be charged for an additional day to return it whenever I had a moment to which I informed him would be around 3 or 4 he assured me that it wouldn't be an issue he would take care of it to make sure the bill was correct as it was their fault and we were once again refused. I had to get on the phone with the employee to state that I talked to Ryan earlier in the day and he said to return it and we would not be charged. Just got the bill and guess what....we were charged an additional $89 for their mistake. Waiting on a call back but will likely have to contest with UHAUL or Amex

I was supposed to pick up the van at 2:15 but the previous customer didn't return it until 4:15. And I was willing to overlook this, but when I came back to pick up my car that night, a big truck was blocking me in and filling the pumps at the station. The driver said it would be an hour, so I ubered home and ubered back this morning to get my car. I respectfully request that you reimburse me for the Uber rides. They're not that much $, but I think it's the right thing to do.

I have rented UHaul vans and trucks at this location for a couple of years now for my toy drives. Ryan is so accommodating and courteous. They make sure everything I need is ready. I'll be using them again

I think maybe you might use this location as an example of what customer service is supposed to be like. Ryan goes above and beyond to make a customer happy. Maybe you guys should promote him or give him a really fat raise. You need at least 100 guys like him

I paid for 4 hours. After having to wait to talk to someone on the phone to figure out how to do the web-based self-service check-in and evaluation of the vehicle, I finally finished the process and got the vehicle 30 minutes later. So basically, I paid to inspect the vehicle for 30 minutes. Reserved it for 4 hours, but had to return it in 3.5 hours.

The pick-up procedure was confusing. There was no individual there to assist in process. The gas station attendant basically handed me the key with no instructions. The vehicle itself was not clean and my husband had to clean the windows so I could actually see effectively. The individual who arranged the rental was polite, etc, but pick-up and drop-off was confusing as there was no process of checking in..

10/10 Ryan was extremely accommodating! Great customer service skills! Helped us right away after needing last minute changes on our part. Very grateful we talked with him, because of our experience we will definitely return to U-haul and will recommend U-haul to anyone we know of that is moving. Thanks again Ryan!
