The u-haul place is also a convenience store which makes you have to get your equipment turned in a lot slower because they have to take care of customers in the middle of taking care of you turning in your equipment.

MATTHEW BA pain to even turn in the UHAUL. Another 2 hour endeavor. UHAUL regional did not support the single employee. Joshi did all he could at the location but did not receive support from Tonya, the regional rep. I commend Joshi for his hard work in maintaining the store AND the UHAUL mess by himself, but he is overwhelmed and not receiving support needed. UHAUL clearly does not provide sufficient training to smaller locations, nor do its reps treat these locations like people. Unacceptable.

John OThe refund process from my cash transaction was more difficult than expected and took 2 trips and well over an hour of waiting each visit and multiple phone calls to get the refund after returning rental online.
Blair HThe lady who gave me the truck was friendly and helpful enough, but she was the only person present. This was a gas stop, not solely a Uhaul office, so she was working Uhaul assignments and the counter for the gas stop. It was hard to ask any questions or talk specifically in regards to the truck rental. Plus, the truck had dirt and trash in the back, and I didn't realize it until I started driving but the cab smelled like smoke.

Craig AThis is the second time I rented a truck and also needed a appliance dolly and they did not have one. There was no phone call to inform me before hand and no resolution when I came to pick up. The truck was very dirty on the outside, and the engine light was on. During this rental I had to extend out several times to complete my move. During this time I spoke to someone everyday to let them know. Weather it was at that location or a corporate call, I spoke with someone daily to ask for an extension. When I dropped off the truck, I was treated rudely when I asked a question, and also told that I avoided calls when I was supposed to return the truck. When I returned that same question with a stern answer I was rudely interrupted and told I don’t have to be rude. I explained to the two ladies that I did exactly what I was supposed to do and it is not my fault that they don’t know how to make notes in the system or read them. I will no longer make or take any rentals from that location. I am very unhappy with the service here.

Santana CEnsure equipment is functional prior to renting out. U-Haul representative at the drop-off location indicated that someone is supposed to show how to install the trailer on my hitch, this did not happen - would have noticed the problem with the hitch lock.

dana tDidn't look like the truck had been checked in by the location. There was damage to the step on the driver's side that had not been previously reported or recorded. I made an online report with pictures before I took the truck. Even though the truck only had 6,000 miles and was fairly new, the front end was out of alignment and the steering wheel was about 45° off center to the left and pulled to the right while driving. This was tiring on 225 mile trip.

Malcolm BUsung the App I uploaded a photo of the vehicle cab being dirty. When I was closing out the rental less than 4 hours later to the same location the App asked me if the vehicle was clean for the next user. I stated no and got charged a $20.00 cleaning fee. I was told that I would be refunded but the rental personnel did not know how to correct it. This was very convenient. It seemed like a rip off. $189.00 to travel approx 120 miles in less than three hours to the same rental location is a rip off. Not happy at all with this experience.

Angelene HThe person who helped us didn't explain why we couldn't rent the car hauler and became angry to the point of wanting to fight when I made gestures like I didn't understand.We rented the car dolly which was not securely attached to my truck by the site employee and came off while loading the car to be towed putting a two fist sized dent in my tailgate.

Had to pay for the gas driving the truck an hour out of the way. No accountability at all by U-Haul. Representative had difficulty pulling the reservation info off the computer. Had to redo it.
Patrick TStrike one ordered a 6x12 trailer almost a month in advance. Two days before pickup receive call equipment not available so you gave me a 5x8 trailer. Strike two Picked up the 5x8 to find lights didn't work. 2nd trailer was great. Not having what was requested cost me time and money. Because of loss of space, Had to make other arrangements for items that we had no room for.

Terri BTrailer was not road worthy when ready for pickup as one tire was bald and completely unserviceable. Additionally the staff were less than helpful and had to get the roadside assistance team to provide me with a new tire. Overall it delayed my trip by a few hours because the equipment was never inspected when turned in after the last rental.
STEVEN CHave a dedicated representative to service U-Haul business. One rep was working both the gas station and U-Haul portion at the same time. I waited 45 minutes just to pick up a trailer. Also, it seems like they had issues with their internet and printer. They didn’t have malice intent but pretty unprofessional. I would recommend U Haul conducts a review of this location.

nicole jWaited over 45 mins because of unavailable staff. Then there were no dollies available even though I reserved one. Had to drive the truck to another location to rent a dolly. They only had one staff and waited another 45 mins to be told they just ran out. Entire process cost me 2 hours of time and the trouble of moving without a dolly. Then waited 30 mins to return the truck. Then was charged over $100 for being late turning the truck in. Moving 1,100 miles away in 3 weeks and will definitely use another company.

The location did not have any of the three moving supplies that I ordered and was promised would be at this location.

Joseph WThis location was a gas station with a convenience store and U-Haul location. They had 1 person working the counter and every time someone wanted to pay for gas or buy anything the attendant left my transaction and help the other person. It took much longer than any other location I have used. The attendant did not bother to check the trailer or make sure it was hooked up properly and the lights worked. I very poor location!

Bobby YI reserved a rental truck a week in advance, the day i was scheduled to pick up my truck, i was informed it would be available in the afternoon, then i was informed the truck wouldn't be available until the next day... I will never deal with an independent U-Haul Dealer.. I will only go to a U-Haul Authorized location... my worst experience ever with U-Haul... I had friends scheduled to help me for my move and U-Haul let me down... what is the point of a reservation a week in advance when you have no truck available on the day of my scheduled move...?
Jeffery LA gas station with a few trailers away from three closer locations. When I mentioned I was stationed at Fort Polk, LA and did not understand why the receptionist did not recognize those locations. After she charged me the store clerk mentioned how come I did not say I was in the military. From the initial call, pick-up, and drop-off site this was the first time all three levels were unsatisfactory from all my Uhaul experience.

jonathan FThe agent at the drop off location was a stark contrast to the pickup location. He was outside smoking when I arrived, he appeared annoyed he had to cut his break short. He told me where to drop the equipment of and come inside where my paperwork would be ready. I went out and unhooked, after returning inside he was chatting with another employee, for not have anything ready and then incorrectly quoted me the amount due. The drop off agent was short with his responses, rude, and hostile. I would drive out of my way to avoid this location and find one with better service.
