Clean the truck. Go over key points in the contract with the customer so they don't get blindsided by fees. Have someone familiar with the computer system working the counter to reduce delays. Charge a consistent amount. E.g. my first reservation was local and cost 30 dollars. 2Nd reservation had roughly 40 miles out of town and cost 140 dollars. Discuss the online check in process if you're aware the customer won't be returning the truck during business hours. Had no problem using uhaul in the past but with this most recent experience I refuse to use their service again. It would have cost me roughly 40 dollars more to have a moving service do the work for me.

They were over accommodating. I was making a big move to another state and to put it lightly, I was terrified. The fellas made me feel so comfortable with this move. They even stayed late (because I forgot my car keys) to load up my car in the rain. They even told me how to drive it. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to move.

I rented a U-Haul about a week ago broke down on the highway didn’t get to complete my job they give me a truck the next day and they told me they will give me $100 credit because I put $50 in gas to fill up the truck took the second truck filled it up with gas again and they never did nothing to reimburse me my money got charged but never credited hundred dollars

A wonderful experience from start to finish. Todd W. at The Detail Shop got the ball rolling with the reservation and arrangements. I was referred to George K. at Porterhouse Equipment for the actual truck. Things couldn't have gone smoother. George graciously accommodated last minute equipment requests, and unusual pick up and drop off times, which helped me tremendously. Hello- I had hitch ahttps://www.uhaul.com/Locations/Truck-Rentals-near-Loves-Park-IL-61111/749074/nd wiring install done on my vehicle at this location. We moved to Eugene OR a week later. We have had nothing but problems with our lights and left rear turn signal. After several attempts to remedy the situation at the https://www.uhaul.com/Locations/Truck-Rentals-near-Eugene-OR-97402/700064/ location, it resolved for a day or two and we again have problems with no rear left brake light and the left rear turn signal clicks faster after 5-6 clicks. Their must be a shot or something. I bought the two year warranty with the installation. I have all of the receipts and warranty. I need this problem resolved!

I understand that the business had flooding recently, but I arrived before they open at 8:00 and there was a closed sign in the front window. I saw three or four employees walking around the back of the building, but no one opened the front door. At 8:15, I walked around the side where I noticed someone went in, and the man told me they were closed. I explained that someone called me to confirm a trailer pick up, then he seemed to understand. I would have preferred my original location for rental. And I checked in online to save time and was charged for insurance that I NEVER selected.
