The u-haul truck ran like crap & it needed brakes bad. The auto transport was missing the pin for the hitch.
Adam BradleyCease leasing leaky equipment!!! The trailer leaked from the roof and bottom passenger side wheel well. (It poured rain from Virginia to New York). Some of our framed wall pieces were wet and our 5 year old couch was also damp. The trailer left the lot with 4 lbs of air in one of its' tires! This was discovered when we got it home and before we loaded it. We remedied the situation. Is it standard operating procedure to lease leaky trailers with only 4 lbs of air in one tire?? Given the wet art and very damp couch, we respectfully request a full refund on this lease.
BLAKE MILLERI turned my rental in the same day I rented it but was still charged a late fee. Rented on 3/2/2024 in Athens , Ga. Dropped off and called the number provided on 3/2/2024 in Christiansburg, Va. it was not processed until 3/6/2024. Failure to communicate on U-Haul’s part should not constitute a problem for the customer. Not happy about this to say the least.

LYLE WIMMERThere was the large majority of u-hauls grouped together that I went to first to find the cargo van I rented. It ended up being one of the select few that was sporadically placed a little further away, and I didn't find that there was clear instructions given to find it. Upon finding it I was to go through steps with the mobile check-in process to verify the condition and mileage, etc. But I could not find the information with the location of the key in order to turn the key to verify mileage and fuel level. I needed to "accept" that information before after LONG navigation of the website to find the location for the key. I found MOST of the process pretty easy, however the issue with the key was very frustrating. The uhaul was clean and nice though.

Sara AguilarGet rid of the app, it is awful and doesn't work. Honestly, it's faster, easier, and more reliable to just use the paper applications. At the very least, have the paper applications available to those who can't use the app (based on the reviews, that's like 99% of people), and also get the IT team to fix the app and actually test it on multiple devices before launch. Or make it more apparent that there is a browser link as a backup from the app. I was almost late for my dropoff time because of the app, and i got there an hour early just in case.

RAYMOND LYONSThe rep was on the phone, I was just told to drop off the keys and they would take care of it. I am glad it was a quick drop off but I did not feel comfortable not knowing if everything was ok or not. I would rather they look at the truck with me, so I knew when I left.

It took him less than 4 minutes to find my reservation, print the and explain the documents to sign, and scan my id. And did it all while making conversation. That guy deserves a raise.

robert oberoslerMy reservation was from 6pm to 6pm Nov. 10-11. The original location of my reservation did not have the trailer and I was bumped to another location. The second location store hours were not compatible with my pick up time. I asked the location if I could pick up the trailer earlier and explained my reservation time but they said it was okay to pick up earlier. I explained my reservation was 6pm to 6pm the next day. I was charged an extra day even after explaining my situation and the store hours which were not compatible with my pick up and drop off. If I'm going to have to go to a different store location they should at least honor my original reservation times.

The wait time the extra verifications, the network connection and heavy file uploads and wait time is a huge pain when that is a very important moment. I would probably never opt for that option. If you need to verify so much like driving license and extra form of verification why don't you do it earlier while booking? This is really unacceptable. I was in a hurry that's why didn't ask for a refund. But i really want a refund. There was no dolly which i ordered which caused so much trouble and I couldn't ask anyone because there was no one there. Also didn't know the fuel had to be filled to the limit it was before. How do you measure that? And why would that cost 30 dollars service charge?
