We booked for one location, the reservation wound up at a different address that no longer exists. The van was at a third location. But get this, we went to that address , and there are two Uhuals at the same location ! The person working at the location we went to was rude , instead of just directing us to the right parking lot on the same property. Please be careful in this neighborhood, its rough. Please watch for needles , and be aware of the people doing drugs on the corner. No, you can't park on the U haul lot , park on the street by the people yelling wildly. It is marked for only two hour parking , but apparently no one patrols the area. Consider a different place to rent your van. Ours was dirty , and had preexisting damage to the windshield. Make sure to check yours before driving off the lot. I feel bad for the poor person working here.Good luck.

The actual location i picked up from was excellent as was the representative, however the poor score comes from when i booked online to pick up at an alternate location only to walk there and find it had been shut down. I then had to figure out who to call to then go further to pick up my rental. You should not be advertising pick up locations that do not exist.
Darren CloseThe website doesn't give the new address just as at the top of this page it reads View St.. I went to the old view st. location. I ended up 20 minutes late getting there. The sole attendant was busy with another customer so I ended up being an hour behind schedule and I had to make it to the ferry. The was an unnecessarily stressful start to a stressful day. The woman working in the area where they sell boxes and rent equipment was atrociously rude and unhelpful.

David BrandonWhen I arrived at the lot pick up my van I found that there was no key in the lockbox. I had to wait for customer service for an hour and the only advice I was given was to find another U-Haul place in town. I need up having to move all my belongings that afternoon with a much much smaller window of time to get it done. It was stressful. I was only able to get through to customer service hours later.... No a good experience.

BARRY SAYEAUTina was as helpful as she could be. However, the initial agreement was not honoured by uhaul for a weekly rental and allowed km. You would think by extending your rate uhaul would keep there promise and honor there initial agreement for rate. This just shows the greed of your organization and trying to squeeze every penny they can get unethically. Honor your word and commitments.

Arnel AguilarFirst, Vehicles were not clean inside or out. Thankfully, with video i was able to safely record the condition and avoid charges. 2nd, when trying to reserve, I tried to use my Canadian Visa Debit (as per the website where it says they will work), only to have the payment fail twice and being told that I couldnt rent without a Credit Card (MAy Card does Function like a Visa Card, and has the Visa Logo, as per uhauls own website rules. the lady called in to her manager to get permission for my Mother to give us her credit card info from Ontario so we could get the rental. I wasnt allowed to pick up the van from my prefeered location, which was 2 minte walk to my house, and available at the time of booking. Instead i had to go to another location. This cost me an additional 3 KMs, when I was asked to change locations, I had agreed to do so on the promise that those KMs would be removed from the bill. They were not. There was no one at the location when i returned the vehicle at 4:45pm, so I had to leave the keys and not verify that the KMs would be adjusted.
Thomas GivlinIt was the 2nd time we got a van (the 1st was from a different location in Victoria) and there was no windshield wiper fluid in the van. My husband cleaned all the windows inside & out, because we didn't have any fluid on hand. Very dangerous.

Bryan CarrWhen I arrived to pick up the vehicle, the computer was not working and Tina could not process my pickup at the time. As we waited for the computer tech to fix it, she gave me an in and out tour of the vehicle. When that was done, and the computer tech still hadn't finished, she took my information, and processed it after I left. She emailed me the info after the fact and everything worked out perfectly without me being inconvenienced at all by the computer issue. Tina was a star! The vehicle was perfect for my needs and it was a great rental experience.
