Ask how well the customer service rep influenced my experience with U-Haul. In my case he was fantastic! Friendly, sociable, well-informed, paid attention to detail , and gave expert explanations. While I don't remember his name I believe he was from Columbia and has only been here a year, but his English was excellent as was his manner. that was my first and hopefully last experience renting from U haul. They screwed up everything the place for pickup and the drop off.Also ver expensive. I do not recommend U-Haul.

Julian LThe truck that I received was not cleaned and was not gassed up by the previous user. While the attendant was very nice and felt bad he forgot to put my blankets in the truck before I left. I had to gas up twice because of this and then had to go back to get blankets. This made me fall behind. When I returned I was owed money and still have not received the transfer I am due. Not sure why it couldn't have been put directly on my debit card that I paid with. All in all not a good experience at all.

An apparently unaffiliated van Depot around the corner reluctantly allowed me to leave it with them. Why weren't they open, and no accessible drop off area? Unacceptable!

Charles MTina, who we dealt with at pick-up, was great! So was the attendant at drop off (I forget his name), he was very nice. Thank you very much to them both! The functionality of the van was great and we will definitely rent again. However, it was in a very dirty state, and I cleaned the interior myself before we used it. Will request a different vehicle if presented with one of similar status. There were plenty of other vans around that looked to have been freshly washed, whereas the one we were presented was filthy. - Absolutely wreaked of cigarette and marijuana smoke, to the point of where we were coughing from the lingering smell - had to use air fresher spray to try and minimize the stench, which didn't make a huge difference. - Vacuumed entire cab and wiped down all surfaces with soapy water due to drink splatters/spills, ashes in centre cup holder and around steering wheel, food remnants, etc. - Cleaned the interior windshield 3 times to get the residual hazy film off. - Exterior of the van had not been cleaned and was quite dirty. - Purchased windshield washing fluid and a litre of oil, as the low oil light came on as we were driving, and the agreement states to not drive the van if that comes on. We were reimbursed for these costs, so thank you.

Bambi PYour system lets your staff down. Your pos systems are cumbersome and antiquated . I was delayed 45 mins with twenty people waiting for direction. You offer no incentives or discounts for commercial clients . You treat you clients like you have too much demand and are unapologetic for bad reservations. I would rate your service below HP ink subscription . Terrible .

It said to leave the moving blankets in the back, which is not locked. i left them in the cab as this is an area of town with a lot of homeless. Chances are the blankets would have been gone in the morning. You may want to change this instruction.

I followed all instructions for the website to find my location and it kept telling me I was at the wrong spot. I was not. If the woman at the booth had not been available, I would not have been able to pick up the truck. She saved the day!

This was a huge delay in our day and we ended up being late moving out and had to pay a fee. I would like to speak to someone about a refund. Would not use Uhaul again

Michael NThere was no parking to park my truck. I parked in a two hour zone with junkies all around. I changed my day around to get my truck out of there at a company cost. The Uhaul guy forgot his keys to get into the office where the keys were to the truck I was renting. I waited until his wife brought them down. I have used Uhaul many times but this will have been the last time.

gary AI had booked my rental a month in advance. A week after booking I had to extend the rental by one day. I was told by U-Haul to contact the drop off location (2304 Douglas street) I called the location at least 20 times and left 4 messages over the course of the week before someone actually picked up the phone. They said they would call me back and never did. Eventually I got ahold of someone who refused to do anything to help. Overall not responsive and if you are lucky enough to get ahold of someone they were rude and uncompromising despite being given plenty of notice that a change was required. Only deal with this location if you have no other option.
Kevin CI originally went to the topaz Street location which was terrible. The manager was very, had a thick accent that was incomprehensible.HE canceled my reservation because I called him Shady, which she was. Luckily I ran into the Douglas Street location. Because I had made plans about moving that day. I highly suggest you check into the topaz location. I don't know if that man is just an employee or it's a franchise, but I would definitely not recommend Topaz Street location. Douglas is good
