When I arrived to pick up my uhaul the rental desk person had gone to lunch. I had paid online for a uhaul I wasn't able to pick up. I was told to return in an hour. I was offered no compensation or apology. Person at desk was confused by my online 24/7 rental and showed low knowledge of his job. Will look into Penske or other services next time. Was also charged more than the quoted price. All around bad on you uhaul.Michael M.
Found out that back wheel silinders where leaking, horn didn't work, and the worst riding truck I have drove. I had a 26 foot truck. I think suspension needs some work.Chad S.

The lights on the first trailer didn't work when rep plugged them in. He actually told me they'd start working down the road. BS, give me a different trailer. I'm a woman by the way. Next one works. Get home open trailer, it's dirty inside! Yuck, have to sweep out dirt, trash and broken furniture parts out before we can start loading. I called, he blames it on the self check- in. While the person helping was great, he did not have any knowledge of uhaul drop off. I thought when I dropped off during the day at tjhat location, I would have an individual loom at the truck with me and not have to call in to say I had dropped it. Kind of confusing return.Rob V.

Got the truck home and loaded for our move. Went to check air in the tires. Found the rear inside tire was completely flat and the entire valve stem broke off. The front tire was bald with cords showing. Roadside assistance had no one in the area to help. Had to take the tires to get repaired myself. Trucks need to be inspected betterEthan S.

The truck was dirty, complete with dead insects in the cab. I tried to call the location multiple times to ask a question and got no response, even when I left messages with a human. When I picked up the truck, I was treated as an inconvenience rather than a customer, This is the worst U-Haul location I've ever dealt with.Michel C.

Issue was with corporate- reservation made online- wasn't showing up at prairie pride. Phone line was down, thank goodness the guy at prairie pride had a gals number at U-Haul who told us the system glitched and that's why he couldn't see my reservationâ€¦Cassandra W.

I picked the 15' truck to move out of state, paid for it in FULL ONE MONTH before the date needed to insure there would be no problem. The day before pick up I received an email that that particular size truck was unavailable!! They only had a 10' truck for my move. So....I had to leave some of my furniture behind because it would not fit into the SMALLER truck. Tell me what part of RESERVATION doesn't mean that that truck was reserved and should not have been re rented out!! I am very dissatisfied with the Marshall, MN location and would likely never recommend UHaul or use them again.REID K.
My only issue is that I selected mobile pick-up with my smartphone. I choose mobile because I was unsure of my schedule when making the reservation. My reservation was for 7am but on the day of I arrived a couple hours later. I spent close to an hour trying to get things to work. Went home and tried on my laptop. Went back and tried again. I finally called the 1-800# and they said they needed to reactivate because I was late. Worked perfectly once they did reactivate. Understand there is probably a need for this step but it should be made clear in the process that people need to call if arriving late. It was all very confusing and I am pretty tech savvy.Tom B.
Next time I order pads would expect to get all the pads I paid for. Only got two panda! And didn't have to call Uhual to discuss as had things to move!!Shane H.
The uhaul location in Slayton where I live did not have the van I reserved so I had to drive 35 miles to Marshall to pickup the vehicle. Which cost me extra. Otherwise everything went well. Fan belt started to squeak at the end of my trip. I told the person about when I dropped off the vehicle.Mike L.

There was not anyone there to assist in any capacity so the service department said to just complete online and go park trailer... that was it. Also! It was a difficult transition on drop off end as uhaul did not have any resources for labor help.YVETTE B.
The a/c was not working correctly so I was without a/c for 1600 miles, I sent an email to customer service asking for some type of credit on my bill. I told the person that checked the truck in and she said I had to contact Uhaul corporate. Hopefully I get some help with thisTim S.

I don't mean to diminish the location....just a bit different because it was like 3 business' in one. Signage on where to enter wasn't clear. The gentleman who helped me was great. Transaction was quick. The guy that helped hook it was great too. So the experience was excellent....location was just average.Brent S.

It was easy to rent and I was upgraded at no extra charge. Attempted to do on- line but that did not work. Customer service was great!Jane R.
The problem was NOBODY AT ALL in the entire establishment was obeying the state mandated COVID mask requirement. They had a sign posted stating that it is required, but none of the employees even had a mask visibly on their person. They were not even pretending! They were putting my health and possibly my life at risk in order to have a political hissy fit.marjorie D.

Just make sure the adapter for the trailer brakes is in place as the trailer was hooked up and ready to go but missing the adapter. Road side service had to come 100 miles to hook adapter up to.Ross S.
Make sure you check the fuel levels when dispatching a vehicle. My dispatch stated I had 3/4 of a tank but I only had 1/2 a tank of gas. I took photos of when I picked up the vehicle and dropped it off. Since the systems were completely down when I picked it up I could not correct anything. After I dropped off the uhaul and got my receipt in an email several days later, again because the systems were still down, I sent an email to show the photos of the gas levels and I never received a response. Instead I got charged for 10 gallons of gas that were never in the tank when I picked it up.Andrew F.
