I think the gas tank should be full when picked up to use. And the owners should not argue with you about the gas . I picked up my rental and the gas gage was a little above a 1/8 of a tank. And was told to have at 1/4 of a tank when I dropped off. The owner argued with me made me feel very uncomfortable.

So as to warm up after cold night. Thank you Pro Power Rental for making my frequent relocation, more manageable! Although, the "after hours return" is a little more time consuming than I would like. But it's understandable and worth it! Thanks again, Pro Power Rental!

Stanley WNeed to lube the connection latch. It was rusted and very, very hard to disconnect. Thankfully, the mechanic nearby let me use his channel lock to get the trailer off. As, the Uhaul was closed, even though it was during store hours.

may yThe auto check-in process after hours is very convoluted. Plus, I spent way to much on gas. Why do you not have trucks start on full, then require renters to refill? Not knowing what gas mileage would be, I filled to 3/4 full, from 1/4. I didn't even use 1/4 so likely donated 7 + gallons. That's huge extra expense. Otherwise, was a good service.
Sandra MI recommend that the lot where we drop off is cleaned up. It appeared that there were broken vehicles and equipment.

Robert FWhen I picked up the cargo van it was before the office was open. I called to explain it was full of dog hair. I received an email. Upon returning the vehicle i emailed back and sent pictures of all the hair and that the vehicle wasn't cleaned. I received an automated response that the person wouldn't be back until Novemeber. Poor customer service!!!!

Edward SThe hitch that was put onto my car was BENT!! When you look at the hitch it's dented!!! NOT SECURE!! When putting the ball on, they did not see the DENTS!! The friend I had seen pointed out that the hitch is NOT SAFE!! Showed me, the hitch was bent down! The portion on the hitch that attaches to the car. The bent in the portion of the hitch, is to lock it in!! Looks like someone hit it with the hammer!! With this given to me, I am sharing the U-Hal I was given "UNSAFE"!! STAFF SHOULD HAVE KNOWEN "NOT" TO USE IT!!!! I do have a photo, with a finger pointing at the dents! I can share, so you know what I mean!!! Thank you for asking!! Worse part is you need to look at things before using it!!!! Worst part is, me making negative comments about U-hal in Hastings.. Not sure if I will get another from Hastings..

Lesley A1. When it comes time to talk about insurance, provide what the different levels are forr. 2. If person is handicapped or a senior, then tell them that the difference between the 10 foot truck and the larger one has a ramp. Make sure handicapped people can get in and out of the back of the truck. Also, make sure a handicapped person can reach the rope to close the door. Thank you.

Randall HI love the in-person customer services we received after the hell we were put through on the website and the horrible services we received on the phone.
sonja lThe UHaul website said we could pick up the truck at 7 AM via the app. When I got there and used the app, it said I had to wait until the store was open at 9 AM. That was frustrating. I returned after the store was open and all went very smoothly. Service was friendly and competent. We returned the truck after hours (when we said we would) and did so via the app. Unfortunately, with all the photos that need to be taken and uploaded, it took about 15 minutes to complete because T-Mobile had bad coverage. Adding free WiFi via an outdoor access point would have helped significantly! I would rent there again but only if I didn't need to pick up and drop off outside of the store hours.
