Teresa HornerNot much room for improvement that I can see. The agent, Mr. Willie West, was most helpful when I called trying to find a truck because none were available where I lived. Once I made my reservation, I called Mr. West back and if it had not been for him I would not have realized that I had not reserved the vehicle for the time frame I needed. He then gave me the number to call to get the dates updated. Mr. West called me prior to my arrival to see if I needed help with directions and when I arrived he introduced himself and got me all squared away. While Mr. West was working on his computer, we talked and to me, it was like I having a conversation with my favorite uncle. When he was finished he walked out to the vehicle with me and before I left, he wished me well and gave me a firm, real life handshake. I knew I had met a good person that day. A man surely on his way to Heaven.

Stacy BeckwithIt makes no sense that a company has a situation where one location cannot seem to communicate with another. The guy at the 1st location was working his butt off but apparently bumbled my reservation. The guy at the other end was keeping everything by the books but not particularly friendly nor helpful. As the result of this, I've had to spend over 2 hours on the phone with customer service, who appear to be totally useless so far.
Michael SchuererThis location did not have the trailer I had ordered well over a week before pickup. They also did not correspond with me the night before pickup. When I arrived at 9:00 a.m. no one could help me as the guy responsible had not arrived. Thirty minutes later when he arrived, I was told the trailer was not available. After calling the 800 number, I found what I needed across town. The older gentleman there was quite nice but I had to wait until the Greyhound bus came and went before the trailer was attached. He attached the trailer while I looked it over. Everything seemed OK until I got home and someone noticed the brake lights were not working. It was a fuse on my truck, but Uhaul should have caught that. I was given NO instructions about the trailer, including how to remove and put it back on the truck. So, I finally ended up with the trailer a full two hours after the time it was supposed to be picked up. Never again at either of these local locations!

Montavius StantonThe manager at this facility was very helpful. It was the rest of the experience that wasn't. Reserved a 20' truck, hand truck and 12 or 24 blankets (I forget the number) and a Tow Dolly. Got to Cleveland MS as instructed and only the truck was there. Had received a split order e-mail to p/u dolly in Leland, MS. Called down and he had no equipment. Had to go to the Indianola MS dealer to get TD. No hand truck nor blankets. NOT HAPPY.

Keun LeeUpon initial review of the uhaul, it appeared cleaned, however, when we began to drive, we noticed a lot of dog hair flying around when we turned on the air. It was everywhere. I'm not sure if you have a pet policy in place, but it would be good to know in advance. Mr. West was very professional and I would rent from him again.

Billy SudduthImprove your communication on the hidden fees and stop over charging people credit cards. Get better training for the people that take calls, to your field managers. Communication with your crew members really needs an overhaul. Karma will find your company.
genette clotmanSince we are in a pandemic I think Uhaul should practice and encourage cleansing techniques .The company should be responsible for sanitizing after each use before another customer enters the vehicle.

When picking up the truck the man didn’t put it on the truck well while returning the truck i mentioned to him that I didn’t receive a dolly n I was charged for it he told me I had to take it as a lost but why should I pay money for equipment that I never used or received. I fell like it could’ve been handled way better than the way it was. I’m NEVER using the Indanolia pickup location again n I won’t recommend it to anyone else
Askisha ElliottMy rating is for physical location. Person was excellent. Truck given to me had bad alignment and driver mirror aimed at ground. Ash tray (why is even there is beyond me) was broken and swings open.

Kenneth StrongAlthough I had no problems with this pick-up location (Indianola, MS) my initial pick-up location (Cleveland, MS) and service was horrible. My initial reservation in Cleveland, MS was not available which caused me to drive 35 miles to Indianola for a U-haul which should have been reserved in Cleveland. Not only was the U-haul not reserved the owner of the consignment shop made me search around his warehouse for a Uhaul that was not there. Neither him or Uhaul offered me a discount or courtesy payment for my inconvenience.

Mary WintersGot there to pick up truck and battery was dead. Instead of trying to help the man went back inside and left us to figure it out. Truck was empty on gas. Was promised and adjustment on bill for gas and the bill went up instead of down. Will use someone else if I ever move again.

patricia lewisFirst of all, I was disappointed that I had to drive to a location 30 miles from my home to pick up a truck when there are two U-Haul locations in the town where I live. I reserved a dolly and furniture pads and neither was placed on the truck. When I called back to notify them I was told by the person who handled the rental that he couldn't take them off in the system. The person who checked me in in Nashville said that he should have done it there and when she called to him to talk him through the process she said he didn't sound very interested in taking care of it.
glen stevensThe location and equipment were acceptable. However, the information from the website was not. I usually rent from a location about 10 miles from my home. However, on this particular occasion, the truck I needed was not available during the times I needed it according to the website. So, I secured a rental 30 miles away. This particular rental had not been cleaned out. There were bottles an paper in the floor of the truck. Furthermore, during the time I used the rental, I drove by the location that had the truck but showed it as busy about 8 times. Each time the truck was sitting in the parking lot. When I returned my truck at 9:00 P.M., the truck was still in the parking lot and had not moved all day. Very disappointed in the accuracy of the website.
