The problem was not so much the location as the Uhaul reservation system, tho the real problem is this location's limited hours. I reserved a cargo van at a facilty a mile from my house for 9am pickup. Went through pre-checkin, got confirmation, received detailed instructions on how to pick up the van using my phone app when no one was there, Then 2 days before my reservation I received a call that the pickup location had been changed to a place over 5 miles and a 20 minute drive from my house, in the opposite direction of my destination. AND they informed me they didn't open until 10, and coudn't use the unattended pickup system. So now I was already an hour and a half behind schedule and paying for 10 extra miles. I got there at 10, waited for almost 10 minutes for someone to arrive, and after getting the van was informed that they had no after hours drop off (as every other uhaul I've rented from has had). So I had to drive the van home last night, pay to park it, drive it back in rush hour traffic (an extra 10 miles and another 20 minutes wasted, AND in the opposite direction of work), sat at the gate several minutes waiting for someone to let me in, then had to drive back in rush hour traffic, getting to work an hour late. So it turned out to be incredibly inconvenient and cost a lot of time that I didn't have to spare. On the plus side the staff were extremely friendly and polite, and the actual rental process went perfectly.

I had a negative experience while returning the truck. We came to return the truck on March 22nd, 2018. Located deep in a residential area, very difficult to drive in there. The office worker who named himself “Alex” which I heavly doubt that’s his real name, went on a supposed “bank trip” rather than doing his job, left us in the rain waiting for half of an hour. No signs of “off to lunch” on the front gate. He said that he left a note on the front door, but we don’t have the access to even see it because we were locked outside of the gate. This heavily impacted my experience not just with the return location but U-Haul as well for choosing such (excuse my language) a shitty location. I will reconsider my choices the next time I need a truck rental service with companies such as Ryder or Budget Truck Rental.

The location is in the middle of a neighborhood which makes driving a truck a little difficult. The truck wasn't cleaned & the employee was nice but seemed unsure of his job.
