Edgar RWe were set to pick up at the Quality Buffer in Draper. When I arrived there was no one there to assist. The sign on the window said they were open at 8 but this was not the case. When I went to try to get the truck I was not able to proceed because the person I spoke to when I made the reservation put it under a different name. This delayed our day 45 minutes because they would not let me get the truck because my name did not match the order. Finally I was able to change the name myself on the app with no help from any one on uhauls side. I asked for help on the phone and via chat and I was referred to do it myself or work with the buffer place to get it fixed and again the buffer place was not open like it was suppose to be. It was overall not a good experience. I have worked with uhaul multiple times and this is by far the worst experience I have had which was really disappointing.

Shilo RGreat experience! Utah, at Quality Muffler and Brake, assisted me with a trailer rental and he went above and beyond to make sure I left with the trailer. U-Haul’s system was down so it wouldn’t allow me to rent online or allow Utah to process the rental. He made a few calls and continued to work through the system until it finally cleared and approved the rental. He even stayed 30 minutes past closing time to make sure I was taken care of. Quality Muffler will be the first place I check for a trailer rental.

Kyle AEasy pickup, easy dropoff - UHaul made moving my uncle's stuff from Phoenix to Salt Lake City as easy as possible. Trailer was a good size and easy to drive; people on either side were efficient and fast. Def recommended
Donald Wlocation is irrelevant. I'll never use UHaul again. I personally picked up and returned to the same location AS I SPECIFIED. But I was charged $193 for dropping off At a different ocation I'VE NEVER EVEN BEEN TO. I rented 5 times last year and once this year. I've had issues every time but this was the most ridiculous and infuriating. Most dishonest thing a company I've EVER dealt with. I'll NEVER go thru uhaul again and will NOT recommend uhaul to anyone!! I have a need for truck rentals few times a year. Uhaul has permanently lost my business!!!! Disgusting. I DIDN'T drop off at this location. I dropped off at the SAME I picked it up personally. This is bullshit!!
Darren BFix your d@mn app! It was an abysmal failure for pickup, and so too was customer service that never did pick up my call (I was on hold for nearly 30 minutes by the time I hung up), and the chat assistance has completely useless (and dismissive). Thankfully the physical location opened up so I could check out the truck from an actual person - and he was great!

Deanna AThis location is also a Muffler & Brake repair shop - when we dropped off the auto carrier, it was dark and the parking lot was so full that we spent nearly an hour trying to back the auto carrier into a parking spot, but there just wasn't enough room to maneuver the 20" van & trailer - very frustrating. It's just too crowded of a parking lot for returns.

John SInitially I had a reservation to pick up the truck in Provo, then in less than 24 hours they told me to pick it up in Draper, they acknowledged their mistake, they said they will deduct the miles and that I will have $50 dollars in my bank account for their reservation error, still has not been transferred. Cassandra MI reserved a much needed appliance dolly. When I showed up in the morning to pick up the truck. He told me they haven't had appliance dollies in months. He wasn't nice or apologetic about it. It really threw off our morning as we had our whole move day tightly scheduled. I had to drive all the way to Home Depot in Lehi to rent one, luckily, they had one in stock. If someone is taking reservations for U-Haul, I would think they would get notified ahead of time the details of the reservation. The customer should be notified if they reserve is not available ahead of time so they can plan ahead. Super frustrating and unprofessional.
Jennifer JWhile most people probably know that the loading ramp can be extended and then raised to be even with the loading deck, that is not something we realized. Thus, for really heavy objects, we would push them up the ramp, but then have to lift them up a couple of inches to get them on the floor of the truck. The truck itself was pretty fuel efficient.
Stephen HU hauls 6×12 tandem axle trailers need a jack to hook and unhook if needed. Own various trailers single and tandem axles all come with a jack for a reason. This is BS

David LParking lot very crowded not sure where to leave the vehicle. No one came out to see if I needed assistance. The process to return took about 30 minutes, with all the pictures that were needed!! Nothing stated to refill the truck, so charged extra for that, on top of mileage…an additional $145!! Very disappointed with Uhaul during this whole experience!! I am not sure I will use them again!!

CASSIE CI wish I had known I would end up paying 100 for just moving something small, I would have gone to Home Depot or something. U-Haul advertises 19.95 but charges you mileage too which is not advertised and you have to fill fuel too. I paid 100 to just go downtown and back. Really disappointed
