Quality Self Storage was awesome. Uhaul, however, was a pain to deal with. My reservation place of pick up was changed to a different city and because Uhaul has not changed it in their system to show that Quality Self Storage uses Truck Share only, I had to wait an extra hour before picking up my truck, after already driving to another city. Gas wasnt filled up I had to put 50+ dollars in it for gas and they tried to change my pickup location for times after I had it reserved for a week. They even tried to change the location two hours before I had to pick it up to an hour away. It was such a hassle and will not use uhaul againNoah K.

Kirsten was so nice! She called and told us our pick up location was assigned 33 miles past where we requested truck. The prior renter must have smoked constantly. Smoking should not be allowed in these trucks. We had the truck for a week and it took nearly that entire time for the smoke smell to go away. Anything we had in the cab needed to be washed after the move. It was disgusting.Marjory B.
The first drop off location was closed with a sign on the door "Out on an equipment run" so I went to the next closest location and she wanted me to go back to the original location because she didn't have room. She eventually agreed to accept the equipment.STEVEN C.

This was the 1st time I was told about your policy that requires me to connect the trailer to my vehicle ( thus transferring all liability to me if there is a later problem). I'm 71, with an injured hand and had no one other than a young woman who was the sole on-site U-haul rep to help. An hour later, using the jack from my truck, we were able to get the trailer connected. I've NEVER had this type of experience before, someone always connected the trailer for me and always made sure that I was ready to go. If your policy is now not to help with the trailer connections, your attorneys may have given you good legal advice concerning liability but terrible advice on customer service. I ordered the truck to be picked up in Dothan but was called by the Ozark location to confirm. 30 minutes from my house, but the woman was kind and easy to work with, so all good. My truck did smell like cigarette smoke so a little Febreeze helped.Amy S.

At no fault to the pick up location I was forced to drive 20 miles to pick up a truck for an "in-town" move. The resulting mileage charges cost me over $40 extra dollars. I never went in to the pick up location but the employees were very helpful and professional over the phone.Nathan D.

The place I was told to return the trailer to was closed and since the were closed I was charged an additional day rent. You guys are crooks it will be a cold day in hell before I rent from ya'll again. Previously I rented a truck from De. To al. And it hand a dead battery. You guys ain't worth a shitRobert M.
I put $42 of gas in that truck when I dropped it off the pump stopped I kept trying to pump it to make sure the tank was full this guy was hell-bent on saying I had three quarters of a tank when the gauge could have been off and now Uhaul is going to charge me $24 on my credit card after I've already filled the damn truck up Uhaul finds a way to screw people out of money. It took a while to locate my assigned truck as the location listed on my confirmation did not have a single truck on their lot. The lady at the first location helped me by providing the telephone numbers for the other local U Haul locations. I finally located my assigned truck. The lady at this location was extremely caring and efficient. Overall, I was very well pleased with the two ladies I interacted with but not so much with being informed of a wrong location for my pick up. I will be needing to rent a second truck to finish my move. It will definitely not be a Uhaul. I ordered the truck to be picked up at a location near to me. Because of store hours I could not pick it up until 10.00. When I got there they didn't have it. When I called dispatch they told me the truck would be in Oakwood (about 35 miles away). I was never notified of this change. I was delayed (while family members sat around waiting) by nearly three hours in getting started. I will never use Uhaul again, and I will warn everyone I know about the disorganization of you company.Cal T.
The towing dolly was categorized by uhaul as being compatible. It was not. It damaged my car greatly due to its inherent incompatibility. It will happen every time, always, to anyone. They are not compatible. I will and am filing an insurance claim for compensation for the damage done to my vehicle.JESHUA G.
