I'm not sure why we were sent to this location to return the truck. We would not have known it was even a u-haul location if we hadn't been given the address.

The first drop off location was closed so I had to contact custimer service to arrange a new drop off location. Customer service provided a new drop off location but failed to notify them of my reservation therefore, the clerk was not available to take my rental payment as I was first instructed would happen. I contacted the uhaul clerk and she would not be available to assist me for 30 minutes. I explained to her I needed to return home which was an 8 hour drive. She told me she would meet me shortly. I was later contacted about 15 minutes later and was informed my credit card had been charged for the rental. This whole experience was totally confusing and frustrating.

The person who runs this place is terribly incompetent. After going through all the paperwork, I had intended to pay with a check. She informed me at the moment that she didn't take checks, so I had to regroup and find another way to pay. She had the trailer hitch parked in a field back behind the property that was really hard to get to. She is going through some health problems and cant lift her arms, so she was not much help when we were trying to back the 20 foot truck in so we could meet the hitch on the trailer. Once the trailer was finally connected, we attempted to load a BMW onto the trailer, and it bottomed out, scraping the brand new paint job on the sides. I feel like she should have had some foreknowledge about this so we didnt have to go through this. In the end, my boyfriend and I had to change out cars and load up my Lexus instead. My boyfriend had to install part of the chains and straps with the car because she wasn't able to. We said from the start of the reservation process that we wanted someone who could do this for us because we have never done it before. In the end, when we left her storefront, we drove across town to the bigger UHaul store and had the employees there double check that everything was as it should be. It was incredibly nerve-wracking, added an extra hour to our moving day (because we had to go home, get a different car, switch out the contents of the cars, go to other uhaul for confirmation). She seemed like everything was no big deal, but for me, it was huge. I nearly missed being able to get the key for my new home at the destination arrival. Also we nearly missed getting to turn in the trailer before the Huntsville place closed. We wouldn't have been able to unload the truck. Never again will I accept anything from UHaul from this destination. She has no business representing uHaul.

Online states open at 9am, opens at 10am Debbie was kind to talk with, and I understand her having to charge to clean. It was dried mud, with sticky in the cups. I just hope U-Haul corporate helps
