I was told when I rented the van that I would only be charged per mile after 100 miles. Then I saw my bill and I was charged $31 for only going 31 miles total. The person did not say that was for a one way rental. I asked him twice and he confirmed it was after 100 miles not that it was one way. I also put more gas in it when I returned than was in it when I took it. I will not be using your company again and I will let people know not to use your company.

My reservation location was switched last minute and my contract went from the $19/day plus mileage to over $140/24 hours with only 20 miles driven. I'm very disappointed with the bait and switch tactic used.

This place is a rip-off. The person who I dealt with is very hard to understand and doesn't speak English well. You guys charged me $60.18 for 3 hours of rental. I drove less than 15 miles in town. Total rip-off, never going to your place again and will leave a bad review.

1. The first location Grub, Grab & Go left me a voicemail the day before with no details and no address. They "were leaving for the day" at 1pm on Sat. I called Uhaul who moved the location to US Gas. 2. I arrived at US Gas at 9am on 8/13 per my reservation. The office was closed, there was nobody on-site, and nobody answered the phone. I called Uhaul again who tried to switch the reservation to Truck Share. However, that location does not support Truck Share. 3. At 9:30am, an employee arrived who then processed my rental. He was unapologetic. 4. The location did not have the moving pads requested on my reservation. 5. The truck's driver-side sun visor was broken and was swinging with every turn of the truck since it wasn't locked into the catch. 6. I returned to the location around 3:45pm and again no employees were there despite their hours state they were open until 4pm. I will seek every alternative before renting from Uhaul again. Please call me for additional details.

Dropped the truck off at night after unloading. I forgot to check the back of the truck when the movers were done. Tried to call the location the following morning for most of the day. No answer... I left a moving wheeled thing in the back along with my blankets. No one bothered to contact me. Very disappointing. I will try to stop by my first free day to see if they have my belongings.

1. I called them multiple times for checking the availability no one attended the call 2. I returned the truck within 24 hours and I got a bill for 3 days - there was no return process the associate at the location asked me to drop the key in the dropbox

I rented the small van that said rental 19.95 rental for half an hour and drove less than 2 miles and get a bill for $101.00 with rental fee plus rental charge !! Why was this not mentioned,what the hell is “rental charge”??? I better get my money back

The person working at this location spoke very little smEnglish and did not know how to work the computer system. The manager on the phone was very nasty and unhelpful. He actually blamed me for the issues because he was on vacation and hung up on me when I could not check the truck out myself on their computer system. This location should not be a site for U Haul or anything else that requires customer service

First I didn't receive a receipt.futher windshield was dirty inside and out along with bird droppings all over the van van needs alinement.i rent very often and not use to this further there were leaves in the back of the van that was not swept out. As a customer that rents trucks bi-monthly and I have three storage units in cinnaminson n.j.on rt 130 for the past EIGHT years I feel sum type of compensation should be considered.thank you in advance would like to receive contact from this review.

Its not that I wouldn't recommend the place, but the Uhaul person wasn't there so the garage person had me speak to him on the phone - it was very odd. We also received no paperwork when we turned in the van...were told to just drop the key in the box..

I was not informed about a late fee of $21.32 by the individual I returned the truck to, they also told me I would be reimbursed the money for the gas I had paid for and I left the receipt with them for $56. 86. I am most unhappy about an additional $80 of charges.

I had a 24/7 location reserved. However upon arrival UHauls site was not working properly so we could not get the van. After almost an hour we did get routed to a site close by that was open. After we dropped it off we were charged a $20.00 after hours fee. Not great.,

Well I took the pictures but it would only upload them in site and I want in the site and then went I wanted to send the feedback and odometer and pics of how it looked like and the gas to prove I did my job , it wouldn’t let me I’m kinda disappointed in this slow generation of the website is very sofisticated generic outdated , disappointing , trust worthy

I had quite a bit of trouble with the online pickup, and when I called and waited for about 15 minutes for a service rep, they accidentally hung up on me and I had to start my call all over again. I lost an hour of time overall.

The guy didn’t speak English, had trouble doing the rental had to call somebody to figure it out, at the end wouldn’t let me pay with a different card at the end I’d definitely use uhaul again but definitely a different location

did not care for this location as it was a drop off and not manned. I like having to discuss the final bill, but it was just emailed and with charges that was unknown to me when extending the term.

It was annoying to have only 1/4 tank and then to fill the tank and leave it with 3/4 tank when I was done - added $89 to my bill and I didn’t use all that gas. I think there is something wrong with the trucks transmission most notably when it was decelerating - was not downshifting smoothly. I had to sweep out the back. Location was easy to access and staff were nice although there was confusion because I had ordered a uhaul online to a different location and when I got there was informed there was a mistake and had to pay $12 to Lyft to the new location and then all the prep I had for a smooth online pick up had to be redone. It was a hassle and additional cost I was not expecting.

The truck shacks like it needs alignment and the check engine light is on. Also the indicator said the passenger rear tite was low. I was told it is fine. I did what I needed to do and brought it back alright. The vehicle should be cleaned after each use, crumbs were in the cup holders. I have rented U-Hauls before and I'm happy with your business overall. Thankd

There were two attendants in the vicinity; the gentlemen who was attending the gas pumps at this location was more helpful in our limited interaction then the gentlemen behind the counter who checked me in. There was a slight language barrier with this gentlemen, however that was not the issue, the issue was way he was dismissive of the concerns and questions I had. I understand he is not a Uhaul employee, though for someone is a third party representative his dismissiveness was rude. I was repeating what I I thought he was saying and pointing to the screen and nodding yes or no while gesturing to my party to help confirm names and emails, hoping to confirm the exchange yet instead he kept repeating himself louder each time which was coming off aggressive the more he spoke. The returning of the unit, after handing the keys over to this same gentlemen, I was looking for some sort of confirmation of the unit being returned other than simply leaving the keys behind. After a few moment and back and forth, I was informed that an hour after my drop off, someone from Uhaul would come to inspect the vehicle before going to someone else. I wasn't looking to say an hour for the confirmation so I took a picture of the keys on the desk as proof of return and this gentlemen then kicked us out of his office area. The other gentlemen was very helpful. We rented this until during some steady rain and our truck had a missing connector piece to the windshield wiper which prevented the blade from staying connected to the wiper arm. He very quickly was able to provide us with the missing item, though I believe it may have come from another unit sitting in their lot. I would maybe suggest some spare parts at these kinds of locations such as wiper blades or connection parts.

Person I dealt with was unable to clearly communicate and had little knowledge of technology. He charged me additional for insurance that I did not authorize. After returning the van I asked about this and he told me I needed to call corporate because they did it on their end. I later found out that this was a charge put on at the pickup location. Would not recommend this location.

Person in charge of renting the vehicles did not speak or understand English well. He could not explain how the mileage charges were invoiced for the rental, he kept forcing us to choose from the ‘estimated mileage’ check boxes on the rental screen on his compacted. Then when I questioned the $14 insurance charge on the screen, he said he didn’t know what it was, and that I needed to contact UHaul directly via a phone number written in pencil on a light switch across the room. After talking to UHaul directly I was informed that the location would have to un dispatch and re dispatch the vehicle to remove the charges from the contract, which this person was incapable of doing. As a result I was charged $14 for insurance I didn’t need or want to pay for. Sadly I believe the person was purposefully incompetent to charge extra for services. I was seriously disappointed with the transaction and this location.

You are scamming people on a contract signed that can not quickly be read as at time of contract. My experience with u is not worth it any more … I was living in Philly and fillies in to delivered d truck out there in Philly . After I filled in my self all of sudden you change the agreement without my notice that I have to return to where I picked the truck , I don’t know how that happened and I contacted customer services and they are not of help and the site is not capable their don’t understand English they so poor in leading people wrongly I will never recommend you to anybody and I will never use you again

The did not have the equipment such as furniture dolly that I paid for, and the worker was completely uninterested in helping me fix the situation. It delayed my move by over 2 hours and caused me tremendous stress. Both Uhaul and this individual are at fault, I will consider another company next time.

I was charged for 25 gallons of fuel and I returned the car with a full gas tank. Also I returned the car at 4:15 on a Saturday and was charged $30 for an after hours return. Now I have the aggravation of fighting this charge it should’ve been $100 or under and I was charged 300

The truck rental was a complete rip off. There was 1/4 tank of gas when I rented and I returned it with 1/4 tank of gas. Yet I was changed $75 for gas. This was not in the original quote and an unexpected charge. The staff on site could not assist and the wait time for U-Haul customer service was 45 minutes. The overall cost of the rental was twice what was quoted. The truck did not contain the items requested (furniture trolley and blankets). The app was difficult to navigate. Very unsatisfactory experience all the way around. I will never rent from U-Haul again.

Rental was wrong size trailer from the reservation making my move very stressful. When I went to pickup the trailer they had the size I reserved 5x8 but the guy told me that was for someone else. Instead I had to take the 4x8 and couldn’t fit everything I needed to move. I reserved the trailer 3 weeks before the move

The rental guy was nice, but did not mention that I'd have to follow the after-hours drop-off link to avoid the additional $20 check-in fee. He told me to simply return the truck, park it legally, and drop the keys in the box. After I returned the truck and went home, your system sent a text message telling me I had to go through the check in process or accept the $20 after-hours fee. I went back to the facility and tried to do the check-in, but was unsuccessful as I no longer had the keys. In the future, don't wait several hours for to send out that stupid text message, and make sure the customers know about it. That was a dick move on your part

The attendant at the gas station had no idea how the UHaul rental service worked. I had to get the key directly from them after a long back and forth rather than the box where I was supposed to pick up. THEN I drive away with the truck only to realize that the gas tank is on EMPTY. So I had to return to the station and pay out of pocket to get gas. Just an awful experience.

Attendant was not well trained. It took an inordinate length of time. When I returned The vehicle no one was available. I left the key in the drop box after locking the vehicle doors. Over the years I have rented a number of Uhaul products and realize this was an exception to normal
