I was given a truck with a near completely empty gas tank. Additionally the trailer I was given had pre-existing damage to the fender. Return was hard also...had to drive additional miles and add additional gas.

rc oI was pleased with everything until I was charged an extra $49.03 upon returning the unit. When I received the unit it was completely empty of gas. The agent told us we had to go directly across the road to get gas and credited my account $30 ,less than 10 gallons of fuel. We put in $120 and still wasn't full. He also said just return it with about half a tank. However upon return I was charged an additional $49.03 for fuel.

Rc OThis Hartwell U-haul, R&D car wash, took care of my difficult situation with quick solutions. My potential stressful move went so well because R&D located a truck I needed. Without there help I would have been in a bind. R&D Car Wash is a good place to get a U-haul.
DANIEL DThe national Uhaul office redirected my original order from R&D Carwash Uhaul Leasing to Starfleet Leasing (also in Hartwell), but no at Starfleet Leasing was available to conduct Uhaul transactions. Fortunately, Steve at R&D Carwash Uhaul Leasing saved the day! Thanks Steve!

Jimmie HI picked the truck up and it was dirty in the back and in the cab. I told them I needed it and took it anyways. They emailed me my contract after I left and I was charged for the insurance which I did not want or choose in my original reservation.
JEFF HI am an old-school guy and I prefer to have some paperwork. The rental was fine and everything was ok, but the only paperwork I had was the reservation emails. I would have been more comfortable with an electronic contract and drop-off acknowledgement.

Gary MThey didnt have all the supplies I ordered. Told me too bad thats all there was. Took 1 hr to get me checked out. Gave me a spanish Uhaul document because they didnt have an english one. The next day the entire office/crew was arrested on federal charges. Horrible experience.

stephanie bDifficult to find. Customer service told us the truck could not be returned here after hours but that we could not return it to another dealer either. Another customer service rep told us we could return to this location. This location needs to specify Hartwell, GA in text messaging to this location as we had requested a return in Anderson, SC and this address exists in Anderson but is not a Uhaul dealer. We drove to the wrong location.
Kim PCharged us for fuel and we were over amount. Theybhad so many trucks coming in that I think they mixed up which ones were who's. They didnt check anything when we were there just put paperwork on counter and went back to work.
