I was instructed to do a visual check for any unmarked damages, using my phone to notate damages prior to accepting the truck. The kicker was the uhauls where on a different side of a creek from the office. Had to get back on the highway to go where the trucks where. Then try to upload photos. My truck had unmarked damages. But the hicker, the powerlines over the trucks prevented me from having any cell service down by the creek. So no, I don't recommend. Had to get back in the car, turn onto the highway 16, cross the creek and go back into the office. Then reverse the order to go back to the truck to so the guy could mark the damages.Cathy S.

I was not given a receipt, the representative said I had to check In. Myself, even though he was there and open. He said he would send me a confirmation email later that day the 4th of Jan 2022. HE DIDN'T Please someone send me a confirmation email.CARL FRANCIS A.

I wish the original reservation I made was not modified and that the original trailer I had requested was at the location it was reserved from. Everything worked out though so long as I am no overcharged for having to taking the 5x8 trailer vs the 4x8 that was requested. Team member at rental location was very helpful in making sure I could still make the trip in a timely manner.JOSEPH ALBERT W.

I was to pick up at Brackettville, Tx not 2.5 hrs away...5 hours of extra travel time, plus more fuel.....but they did give me a extra 100 miles but the dealer was great, except only had 12 blankets not 24 that i orderedWILLIAM W.
Our checkin was completed on line as well as the payment. Called to verify the serial number on the trailer to be picked up. Uhaul rep gave me the number and thanked me for calling. My Juana and and I hooked ip the trailer and left the premises. 5 hours later I received an email to call Uhaul, I did so immediately. The Uhaul rep at our pick up location has reported our trailer stolen to the authorities!!!! Jerk. After and hour of phone calls, I was able to straighten it all out. Uhaul wants the least amount of human contact possible, all on line but then you have to wait 20-30 minutes to be connected to someone as it is impossible to complete all request on their website. Worst moving experience yet!!Phillip L.

All of U-Hauls systems were down and I was unable to log into the app or website to complete the return. I left the trailer and left due to the fact the location was 30 miles from my residenceChad L.
First off the truck i ordered went to the wrong location and nobody informed me that it went to a location that was 45 minutes away. Took 1.5 hours more to get the truck. Second, The 15' truck I rented had a bald and very bad front left tire that we questioned when picking up. The man said that the tire was fine and since they had no other trucks and I had to start to move that day(moved from Texas to North Idaho) and had no time to wait for another truck, we took that one. Halfway into our trip at 4am the tire we had questioned blew when we were driving and we almost went off the road!!!!!! Thankfully my brother was driving and was able to safely get us to the shoulder. After looking at the damage and finding out the Uhauls do not have spare tires on the vehicle, we had to call road side assistance.... the lady on the phone was very helpful! HOWEVER, it took them 5 HOURS to get anyone to us. Which in all delayed our trip very much and caused us to get caught in a really bad snow storm in which we were trying to stay ahead of. Because of that incident our trip took us 8 hours longer then it should have. I am extremely thankful that we did not wreck and that nobody was hurt!!!! But I am VERY unhappy with the quality of the vehicle I was given!!! It was an unsafe vehicle and should have never been rented out that way!!! Had that tire blew when we were in traffic or if I was driving instead of my brother, I honestly don't know if we would be here today!! I will never rent from U-haul again based off of my experiences now.Ariana A.
