It would have been OK if when reserving the unit, that u haul would advise client of rental process before arrival(and not 15 minutes before either...found process easy to accomplish ONCE I UNDERSTOOD...stephen R.

Hello all, I didn't accept this payment. First of all the initial mileage was 71184 miles not 71103 miles, second I didn't accept to pay for cleaning, I just used the truck to road 21 miles it was less than 2 hours. So is not fair I pay for something I didn't agree upon or even use. Please recheck the accountability and fix the amount you removed form my credit card. What I accept to is: -> 19.95 USD rental -> 16.59 USD mileages -> 2 USD proportional gas -> 1 USD environment -> 2.77 USD Rental tax Total 42,31 USD - 35.50 USD previous accepted, so I owe you 6.80 USD. The truck had been left out for however long that we had to jumpstart the Uhaul when we picked it up. No one was there to help, and we had to jump the Uhaul a couple more times during the tripChristopher S.
I spoke to 3 different people and told them I was picking up in Anderson south Carolina and returning to Philadelphia pa. And I was told when I returned the trailer that my contract was not a one way trip so I was charged more than I originally planned. Which made me short for my monthly bills.Deanna C.
We were told to go â€œinsideâ€ for our key and there was no one there. Our key was sitting in the unlocked cab. There was trash all over the back of the truck. The cab was filthy. There were cigarettes and trash all over the floor. Very dissatisfied.Daniel M.

Very poor service, was charged for an extra day of use when the equipment was turned in on time. There was no worker at location to receive equipment and when she called me back she gave me attitude. I called the U-haul hotline to see why I was charged $140 for what was quoted to be $54. Lewis answered the call and gave me an attitude the entire 20 minute long conversation for the refund. I will never be using U-haul again.Harry H.

The manner in which customers transact the pickup at this location is extremely sketchy. If customers are to unable to be face to face with a UHaul rep., then the location should be closed. I will say that the actual local UHaul rep. On the phone was very nice and helpful and that's the only reason I completed the rental.Sharon W.

The worst experience I have had moving. My reservation was not guaranteed at the pickup location like my online reservation said it would be and I had to drive to another pick up site to get the truck. The drop off location was not 24/7 like the rep said it was. The drop off location telephone number was disconnected and the scan code on the drop off box was no good. I then had to wait 15 min to talk to a customer service rep to confirm the return. Waste of time and I will not ya them again.Tyler T.
First, trailers are located and stored in an overgrown grassy knoll filled with ant beds, large holes and precarious findings (cans, nails, wood boards) - just drive by and check it out. Secondly, you never see the individual so it's all done virtually. Thirdly, and this is the most important, screen shot and prove your order and drop off time as you will be overcharged for days and non selected insurance. Luckily, after 8 days of working with with uhaul national customer service and proving that I had selected no insurance and proved that I had only possessed the trailer for less than a day, I was refunded (that's right, R&G and the district manager Jessie we're non responsive to my complaints).Tracy C.

Getting our uhaul was extremely difficult. We were first sent to a location that was not able to accommodate us. Unfortunately we had been trying to access the uhaul for over an hour with help from a representative before being sent to R&G. After getting to 2nd place, they had no dolly for us and we had paid for 2. So it took over 2 hours to even get the truck. Then my card was charged twice. Needless to say, it was one of the worst experiences I've had. It would have been nice to have received a discount for all we had to go through.Ryan B.
There was no one there at pickup or return of the trailer. U-Haul sent me a link for the return and when I clicked on it a message said it had expired. From 15:00 to 15:30 I was on the phone with U-Haul and the the person running the rental location. U-Haul's payment computer was down that is why the link said it was expired I assume. I finally ended up just leaving the trailer at the rental site. The final paper work I received said I returned the trailer at 17:00 when it was dropped off at 15:00. Very frustrating.Kent S.

Nobody was there for pick up or drop off never got any paperwork for rental and was lied too about the amount they were taking from my card to rent it and the final charges they were taking n the truck had no ac. And 3 different # i had to callBilly M.
I never even met with an actual person when I checked in. There was an â€œofficeâ€ that had a sign saying it was open (at 10am), but no one was there. My own Enterprise driver who dropped me off waited until I got situated because he was worried to leave me by myself in this area. Like I said, I never met with a person, which was weird because I was originally going to get a car tow, so how was I supposed to do that when it needed to be checked by a U-haul person? Got my truck, the keys were in the glovebox, so I never met with an actual person. Got the truck and there were roaches everywhere inside the back. They literally scattered when I opened the door. Plus the back was dirty with trash that I swept myself. The cab was also pretty gross, sticky cup holders that I had to clean before I felt comfortable putting my own stuff in afterwards. Totally sketchy place. No one works the location, no staff on site at all. there were hand written signs with three different phone numbers, none answered, received a call back from a FOURTH number, telling me to just pick up the trailer, never verified my identity or did any of the trailer check-in procedures like verifying existing damages. There is no pavement in this location, trailer was staged on a very wet plot of grass, if I didn't have 4-wheel drive would not have been able to get trailer out of yard or over curb. There was no one there to help with anything. Had to get someone who worked in a business in the area to help. Wasted 3 hours trying to load an autotransport even though I arranged for help the day before. Miscommunication and lack of actual people there to help made pickup a nightmare of an experience.Robin P.

Nobody would answer my call when I tried to set up my ride share so when I got there, I couldn't reach anyone and U-Haul customer service wasn't helping me. The keys were in the glove box and it was unlocked so I assumed that was how we were supposed to use the ride share. I got it home and tried to call U-Haul the entire way but nobody would answer or I'd get redirected. Finally someone told me the regional dispatcher would call me to activate my contract but nobody ever called so I called them back and they stated I needed to take the U-Haul back and try again in the morning (which I had reserved this at least two weeks prior). I told them I wanted to speak to the manager and she said she was the manager. I said let me speak to whoever is in charge of you. She threatened to call the cops and report the U-Haul stolen prior to this. About 10 minutes later she got back on the phone and said her manager got it activated and it wasn't my fault. Which is what I was trying to say when she threatened to report it stolen. Your ride share app doesn't work and your customer service is horrible. I am sad because I used to love U-Haul but after this experience I will never ever use them again. I had also ordered a dolly and moving pads and was charged for them but never got them and didn't get my money back. Overall the worst service I've had in a long time.Richard T.
This was not were I expected to pick up the uhaul at. The place was changed two days before pick up. I expected someone to be on site but check in was just a phone call letting me know the keys were in the dashboard. The bed of the truck had large piles of horse feces in it and stunk. There were chopsticks and food packets in the cab and the gas was barely above E.Kaylynn H.
No one there at location. Ordered 3 dozen blankets and only 1 dozen was there. When turning in, again no one there, phoned and was told to take truck to another location. Very poor service. Would not recommend that location to ANYONE. Paid extra mileage to pick up more blankets and to turn it in.mark B.
I received a call from a young lady while I was enroute who wanted to verify that I was still picking up the tow dolley. She gave me a number to call once we we arrived. I called the number and proceeded to give another young lady my drivers license number, etc. There was music blasting in the background. She told me she would call me from another number so she could "enter my information". She called right back but the same music was being played in the background. NOT once did either woman I spoke with identify themselves or the company they represented. The two dolley we chose has a defective right side taillight. I took pictures and sent it to the link that was sent to me via text.FELICIA W.
