When I made the reservation I was told, and it was printed on my contract, that my time of rental would be 7pm, Friday, to 7pm Saturday, planning for a 7am Saturday pickup for a day rental. I was called on Friday at 4:30pm that those times were impossible and I would be charged for 2 days unless I returned the truck by 4:45pm on Saturday. When I mentioned my agreement I was basically told "too bad, not my problem, do you want the truck or not?" We had to reorganize our entire day so we wouldn't have to pay for an extra rental day. The pick up and drop off was simple and easy, no issue there, but the service leading up to that was frustrating and misleading.

They are very friendly. The rental rate is very good. As the island is small, they have a package that allows you to see the entire island without any additional mileage costs. Equipment is in good condition and no mechanical problems. Would definitely rent from them again.

The employee that processed the rental initially qouted my my mileage rate at 89 cents per mile , when returning the truck she correctly charged me 29 cents per mile. Other than that, the rental went all right.

Let me explain poor rating, As this is not my first rental experience with this location, previous experience were great, cost, Salena was great writing up contract even extending my rental upon request really helped me out. This pertains to mileage charges, I failed to check mileage odometer when I checked out (my fault) but there was no way I travelled 131 miles, I roughly travelled around 63 miles based on my activity, either your odometer is faulty or location is not accurately recording MI in from previous loan, therefore, MI out was inaccurate. Perhaps your MI in/out process can be improved by having additional confirmation prior to renting. I'll admit I failed to check as well and have no grounds to stand, therefore the low rating.
