The return process was unbelievable. I tried to drop it off after hours using the app. That didn't work. Kept saying 'you cannot start the drop off process until you are at 3105 CR-28, Clayton, AL'. Well, that's where I was at. The truck, and myself were less than 10 feet from the big U-Haul sign and business sign on the side of the building. When I pulled up that address on Google Maps, it said 3105 CR-28 was essentially the backyard of someone's house 500+ feet away. So I had to call U-Haul and they said to just take pictures of the truck and mileage/fuel-gauge and leave the key in the box. The app needs to be more forgiving in a 'geo-fence' situation like the one I had where apparently it wanted me to stand in someone's back yard to return the U-Haul that was parked at the business next door. Within Unfortunately, this nearly ruined plans I had that evening after fussing with the app and trying to get a hold of a representative.

Truck was filthy, in a field, no keys, almost out of gas and squealed if you went 70 MPH. This location was also 31 miles from where my reservation was requested. Awful! Will not use U-haul again
Aimee GI reserved a truck a week in advance and when I arrived to the live location in Clanton they didn’t have my truck. I had to wait and wait and then I got switched to a manual pick up and the storage place which was a pain to jump through all the hoops to get the key. I lost 2.5 hours of move time due to the poor handling of my reservation
