I paid with a cash deposit expecting to get a cash refund to get there and be told they don’t give gash back .. I won’t be using uhaul anymore... this was by far the worst experience ever

When I arrived to pick up my truck, it was not ready and the business did not open for another 2 hours. So I had to wait until they opened to pick up my truck. I was then given a different truck and charged AGAIN after I'd already paid online. (This was taken care of later when an associate called me to see if I still needed a truck. It was then that she noticed I'd been charged twice.) I asked the man who gave me the keys to the truck if it showed my payment in the system & he said no. THEN when I tried to drop the truck off, the place I was told to take it didn't want to accept the truck and the guy was very rude about the situation. I ended up having to call customer service who told me to just park the truck and leave the keys in the drop box. However, when the guy saw me parking the truck, he came out & asked "so you're just going to leave it here anyway?" I said, "Yep!" and kept checking the truck in on the site. Overall, the whole experience was a mess, but I am thankful for the people on the customer service line who made sure I was refunded that extra payment and who told me how to check the truck in without having to speak to the gentleman at the drop off location.

The keys were misplaced to the first truck. We then had to get another truck that had no gas, it was really inconvenient.

They charged me a 100$ cleaning fee an I had pictures that it was clean.my family an I only had it for5 hours. When I called an asked about it he apologized an said oh... They may have pressed the wrong button let me fix that. Ask they charged me 172.42 to drop it off at smiths location but when I called it in before purchase it was 122.32 with tax. I am too tired from moving into my new home to even argue. But I would never never ever again rent anything from them. An I thought about buying furniture from them an I wouldn't dare. May after this experience.

I will never use uhaul again. I was double charged and the manager agreed to correct and to date has not and does not return any calls. I spent hours there waiting, the associates had no clue what they were doing.

I turned my truck in on Sunday the 20th. They didn’t process the paperwork until Saturday the 26th resulting in me being charged an extra $40 per day for 6 days. What’s worse is the Uhaul customer service phone number doesn’t actually connect to anyone. You just sit and sit until you get tired of waiting and hang up. Uhaul, specifically this location, is terrible and is doing everything they can not to reimburse me for the extra days I did NOT have the truck but was charged for.

I did not have direct contact with the staff. I am not in a position to recommend improvement. I have utilized rental equipment in times of need and always recommend to family and friends. Technology has a profound impact and works well. I will continue to recommend your services to those I encounter.

While making the reservation over the phone, I told the specialist that I was moving a 3 bedroom home, she stated to me that the 20 ft truck would be a prefect size, which it was not. My pick up time was 7:00 am, it was moved to 10, My reservation was moved to a new location a day before my move, once I arrived to the location, the staff informed me that they do not have dollys at the location, I had to drive back to the first resvation location to get the dolly, this drive was eating up my miles. I called and spoke with Mr. PJ, he was able to help me. Once I was completed with my move. I returned the uhaul. I received a bill by email, which stated an additional amount. I felt as if I was rushed due to limited time.

It was a furniture store, one can barely see uhual sign. No equipment to rental like pads, dolly or lock, But if one wanted to buy furniture
