Very friendly and helpful staff! I dropped off an auto transport prior to dropping off the Uhaul to make moving easier as I have a small parking lot. However, company continues contract for the equipment that is dropped off until all equipment is returned; which means the equipment is left â€œat your own riskâ€. I would suggest changing this policy to give customers peace of mind and allow for equipment that is not in use to be rented by someone else.Dawn T.

Have the equipment ordered ready at the ordered pick up time...Have someone there to help customers who has an idea of what they are doing. Have the outlet post signs as to where the customer needs to go to pick up the needed keys. have the outlet know where the keys are and be ready for the customer on time. And allow the customer to pick up the vehicle at the assigned time so that they can meet their commitments and not be an hour late because the outlet didn't have the equipment ready. And How About the Big On! Have the outlet not charge for equipment that was not ordered or supplied. So that the customer doesn't have to wait on the phone for an hour to reach someone who can credit a charge that should never have been there in the first place. Can you tell I am slightly annoyed. This whole UHaul experience was a nightmare from the get go and I even confirmed my order the day before so that there would be no issues.!DIANE A.

Huge runaround, nobody in there yard, office closed. Took am hour to get the trailer even though I checked in the day before. Couldn't process the order Locked me in the yard as well after I paid the second time. Paid on the website, had to pay again to take it, amd they wanted payment again when I dropped it off. Never again, worst rental experience ever. 3 other customers behind me having the same problems. BRUTAL!!!! Will go elsewhere in the futureScott K.
The person who helped us was great but she was the dispatcher and was doing her job while covering at the same time for the individual usually working for u-haul as he was on vacation. She frankly deserves a huge bonus as she was working her tail off!Daniel S.

Ensure contracts are completed properly in New Westminister before customers leave. I was asked to take a picture with my phone of the gas metre in the truck before we took possession at the new Westminster location. And as the agent in Mission stated, one could take a picture anywhere in route and say that is where the gas was which makes sense. We ended up having to put more gas in than we were supposed to because of the agent in new Westminster. However we were pleased at how the Mission agent dealt with this issue.Mary J.

Treat customers fairly don't make them wait for hours and make sure your product is safe. Also when I rented the truck online I ordered 2 dollies and when I got there they didn't have any but when we opened the truck it had about 50 furniture blankets we didn't want so you should make sure the trucks are empty.Linda G.
I am convinced that Uhaul does not value good customer service. I attribute that to a sad lack of competition. I arranged a rental and the day of pick up no one was in the office, there was a lot of confusion about getting the trailer sorted for me to take. Ultimately a pleasant man helped me get the trailer and hook up after I had paid. Dave is also a very pleasant person and tries to help. The rest of my rental was uneventful, thankfully, because my experience with trying to call Uhaul for help is that that is a long and Not-helpful experience.Kim A.

Inform the client that a real credit card is required to rent the small trucks. You forced me down from a 26' to an 8' van. I went to rent it and got refused due to lack of â€œrealâ€ credit card. However I could rent a larger unit farther away (10' in mission) if I leave right now and I can pay by debit card. Happy to get a slightly larger truck, I went to the new location and the fellow says this happens all the time. Customer awareness goes a long way, also interesting fact the dealer 2 blocks from my new house had 1 26' and 2 21' units sitting there the entire time I had the van that was too small for my move causing hundreds of dollars in mileage and fuel costs. This is not fair as on top of the costs I lost hours in travel time between loading this tiny van and going location to location. I understand you're a corporation, you've got my money and clients by the balls for the convenience of truck rentals and you probably don't care. But it would go a long way for future clients.. this will be my last move with u/haul. I rented before and didn't get the truck I requested either; this time I booked in advance and got given a tiny ass van which is ludicrous since I requested a large one and several large ones sat unused, blocks away from my house, very disappointing UhaulANDREW D.

The lot attendant was pleasant and well prepared for my pickup. He was also very helpful and well organized. When I dropped off the trailer he was again very helpful and I would gladly deal with him again.TIMOTHY L.
The experience was good but the cost to rent for six hours and drive 140km is too expensive. Plus fuel! Should be lower. .79cent for in town is way out there. Should be.40 cent. I'm not happy about it.JAMIE C.

The location wasn't the problem, not knowing I needed ONLY a credit card to rent the van was the problem. Why couldn't you just charge my debit? I was over an hour late for trying to move and couldn't get everything I needed because I needed to jump through hoops to try and get this van. It was very off putting, and I probably will never recommend your company. Not that it matters... None of you really care about the feedback anyways.TRENT J.

I feel I was ripped off for additional gas charges. I only drive the truck 13 miles. I refilled the gas before I dropped it off with 2 gallons (8 litres). The gas gage was back to where I dropped it off, but the paper work showed the gas gage was a 1/16 of a tank off what the paper said it show be, so I was charges an addition $13 in top of the $12 of gas I put in for going only 13 miles. I feel ripped off and will not recommend this location. People on site should have more flexibility to deal with issues like this, so they don't have to say, â€œ There is nothing I can do about this sir.â€NEIL G.
Most everything went smoothly with the trailer rental from Reliable in Mission. Trailer was clean and ready to go at the appropriate time. Dave had me hooked up in no time but there was a glitch in U-hauls internal computer system necessitating a call to clear things up. Mission U-Haul highly recommended.Robert K.

I was getting charge 3 times if i want it to drop it off where i need it to go ( in Kamloops bc ) instead i had to drive a extra 300 km west 1 way to Mission BC so 600 km around trip 7 hours total with my own vehicule just to go drop off the trailer to a location where uhaul needs it And still get charge 400$ for it. Reliable towing will give Uhaul a bad name. Definitely will not use Uhaul again for any rentals. charged me $10.50 for 2 litres of gas when it was returned with more gas than when picked up.Magda A.

I waited in line for 2.5 hrs for my truck. Because there was site issues with u haul. No back up options to get people in there trucks and moving on the way. Also I booked a 26' and uhaul could only offer me a 20' over all experience horrible. Never want to go through uhaul again. Very unimpressedEmilia N.
I had reserved a truck for 7:30am in Abbotsford. Then it was rescheduled for a Mission pick up. When I arrived and started the pick up process, I received a notification that I'd have to wait until 9:00am when the facility opens. After waiting on hold for 15 minutes, it was determined that a key hadn't been staged. That was figured out, but then the truck was quite dirty and smelled of cigarette smoke...ADAIRA G.

I did reserve a 20 foot but only a 15 foot was available. Seems to be a U haul system glich because the clerk helping me showed one available but when she refreshed her screen only 15 footers were available? Anyways a 15 footer worked. So inefficient. Why must I go through the same process on site as I have already done online when I booked? No signage of where to go. Employees hard to identify. This could be streamlined.
