The Mobile Pickup wasn't convenient at all. While picking up the truck, there should be some alternative ways to contact the customers for verification when the phone signal is weak.Amin F.

Sweep the back of the the vehicle in overnight drop and then I was charged $20 for cleaning the back which I swept up been using U-Haul for a longest time and never had a problem like thisDimas G.

This was the worst experience I have ever received from u-haul. The woman who runs the business at this location is extremely rude. When I called to book a reservation, she acted like she didn't want to be bothered and told me to book it online. When I called back again for directions (after I made a reservation online) she was rude again. When I arrived at the location, she was worse in person. My 8yr old daughter was with me, who needed to use the bathroom. The lady told me she couldn't let my daughter use the bathroom and that we should go across the street to use the bathroom at Dunkin Donuts. At this point the u-haul was already attached to my truck but the paperwork wasn't completed yet. To get to DunkIn donuts for the bathroom- would've required crossing a six lane, very busy road with a large u-hail trailer attached, or dangerously crossing the street by foot. All while my little girl really needed to use the bathroom! My 8yr old daughter had to pee outside next to my car! The woman then demanded cash for the balance of the hitch that I had to purchase. When I told her I only had a debit card, she said she had to charge me an additional 3% to use a debit card because the balance was under $50 (the total was $45). Then to top it off, they charged me double the rate for renting because I returned the u-hail trailer a few minutes late. The lady knew she was rude & wrong because she told me, â€œYour going to hate me after this.â€ She didn't try to make anything right in anyway. Avoid this location unless you wanted to be treated like a stray dog.Lauren T.

I reserved the van using my iPhone. Then when I went to pick it up during this pandemic, I was only allowed in the door to sign the electronic iPad. I opted out of the extra insurance but somehow it was changed and I was charged $45 insurance that I didn't want. I am a nurse and I needed the van one day but since I was working long days - I wasn't able to return it right away and needed to rent it longer than one day even though the van sat in my driveway when I was workingBridget M.

The ratchet straps on the trailer moved as if they were erected w/the titanic. Rusty and just horrible to use. The safety chain on the front of the trailer, was wrapped so tightly that it made it obsolete and impossible to use at all. This is more of an equipment problem than a location problem, however a few shots of PB Blaster and an inspection of the chains and trailer would have been easy in my opinion. Also this location does not accept Ca$h?!!....I didn't have a credit card on me so I had to put it on my friends card or he wouldn't rent it to me.Joao N.

The pick up process was long while standing out in the cold. It was a longer process for using the phone then walking in and talking to someone. I rate the phone on lock a 2/10Robert R.

The 24/7 rideshare app and process was terrible. Unclear instructions and time consuming, defeating the purpose of its use. Additionally there was no available equipment for my plans and thus cost me twice the amount in mileage and thus cost. I'll debate in the future whether to use U-Haul again or find another truck rental company with better inventory.Julia L.

This final location was excellent. The Uhal experience was not good. I had a reservation and the original location I was to get a truck was not good at all. I had a reservations went to location prior in the week and received email conformation I had a truck. When I went to pick it up I was told no truck nothing we can do. Had I not been persistent they would not have checked for other locations. The did find 400 25A location and they were good but the overall experience e of renting with Uhal was not good.john G.

I needed a truck, saw they had one. I know the shop professionally. I told them I need the truck for late afternoon, I filled paperwork at 9:00 am. A half hour later i get a text from u-haul saying the truck was due back by 3:00pm. Please understand I did not pick up the truck yet. I called the dealer, (Bob) he said dont worry, OK. I got the truck at 4:00 he handed us the keys, returned at night 7:00 pm. Filled the gas appropriately and parked. I did the tedious check out with pictures and wi-fi cutting on and off. The truck is noe parked on a hill at the dealers shop. Guess what? The fuel now reads differently too. I complained I was charged for being late, before I even got the truck, The dealer (Bob) said well I should have reserved it????? He's not a nice man and I think I was overcharged. You know what the last time I reserved a U-haul truck I had a bad experience also...They gave my reserved truck away.... (middle Island) dealer! My Name is Kevin C Appel 631-830-3459.
