Easy pick-up, easy drop off, and the folks here were very helpful in hooking it up and checking its safety and were very efficient and friendly in getting me in and out. I plan to use them whenever I need to trailer my Harley. The U-Haul trailer was really good quality, too.

Chris RoscoviusThe lock box needs serious work. It took us 15 minutes to open box 3. The numbers, especially the top number, didn't want to turn. When you are picking up a vehicle at 10pm, this can be even more problematic, and a rough way to start a rental.

Initially, I reserved the trailer, but had to cancel because my friends truck was not available. I noticed that I was charged 25.00 for canceling. It was a few days later that I was able to rent the trailer and complete my transport. Thank you

dustan StanfordThe location was fine. I had issues with the uhaul app...45 mins waiting for customer service. The lockbox wasn't working to get the key. The drop-off was ridiculous due to the uhaul app not working agsin to take a pic of the odometer. Once I did get customer service they were nice but the overall experience wasn't great.

Danny ParmanI reserved an auto transport at U-Haul, 17000 Rogers Drive, New Berlin, WI. I got there, paid for the transport and went out with the two girls running the place to hook it up. I inspected the tie down straps, and on one of only two straps that secure the front wheels, the end that is inserted into the ratchet was literally tied onto the tire strap. I told the gal running the place this was unacceptable and it should be immediately taken out of service. She told me it had just come in from Kansas that way and it should be fine. I told her I spent 40 years in heavy material handling and to go find me another transport. She contacted dispatch, who located one 25 miles away. I asked for a discount since I now had to drive 50 miles because of their negligence. Dispatch agreed to a $50 credit which I agreed to. The gal said she changed the order and I left. I arrived at Rhodes in East Troy, WI to find that the gal had not changed the order, but merely put a note on it. The gal at Rhodes found the note and issued the credit on the order. But instead of subtracting $50, she added $50. She immediately caught her mistake, but had to call someone at an actual U-Haul office to get it corrected. (It’s absurd that the systems wouldn’t let her correct that herself.). She explained what happened to the gal at U-Haul, but the U-Haul gal replied back that I should have been charged nearly double what I was charged. She handed the phone to me and I explained to the gal at U-Haul that I got the rate off their website and everyone agreed that was the correct rate - she was just not understanding. After another 10 minutes, she finally got it, issued the credit, but said it would take several days for it to show up on my bank account. They can take your money instantly, but it takes days to get it back. It was the worst experience I have ever had with U-Haul, and was scary that they were more than willing to put unsafe equipment on the road. I will certainly look elsewhere if I ever need moving equipment again.
