Found out at 5:45pm the evening before that we had to drive 90 miles to pick up the truck. It was too late to make other arrangements for leaders, unloaders, etc. Super inconvenient. Took about an hour on location to pick it up.
The gentleman that helped me was amazing. But I was very upset I got charged for 26 blankets and didn't order them at all, I never even opened them out of the plastic but U-Haul the company wouldn't reimburse me for something I didn't even order
Need to pick up the phone during Business hours
I had a Rental out of Grand Forks booked online in early November and was called 2 days before pickup that Grand Forks did not have a trailer my size that I had rented I was informed I needed to go to Grafton for pickup 40 miles away 1 way. It was inconvenient and more cost occurred. Poor planning on U-Haul.

I made the reservation with short notice so we had to drive to a different location to pick up the truck. Next time I will make reservation earlier. Rick in Grafton was very helpful and the truck was clean and ready to go. The truck ran perfectly and was easier to drive that I anticipated.

Made reservation 3 weeks in advance for the Grand Forks store. Would have liked to have picked it up there not 45 min each way to pick it up. Fargo manager was nice though and gave me a free day

Rick's did not have a two wheel cart for us. We ordered plastic covers for our mattresses. He did not have those either. Everything else was fine.
Ricks repair was so helpful and friendly. I had to drive to Grafton, ND to get the trailer - it was supposed to be in Grand Forks North Dakota and I was informed one day before pick up that there were none available in Grand Forks, that was very disappointing. Don't promise something and then change your mind.

I wanted to rent a 4x8 trailer for a one way move. I couldn't find one local. I called the 1-800 number and was helped by Rachel Smith out of the St. Louis area. She found me 5x8 trailer in Grafton, ND. After some discussion she agreed to rent me the 5x8 trailer for the price of the 4x8. When I picked up the trailer the man in Grafton charged me full price, not the one agreed to when the reservation was made. He said he couldn't change it. He said I would have to contact U-Haul to resolve this. When I dropped the trailer off at the Plainfield location I mentioned this to the man there. He looked up the agreement made with Rachel Smith and said the discounted price was stated in her notes from my reservation. I have no idea why the man in Grafton didn't do this. I feel I'm am owed a refund of the difference in the price between the 4x8 and 5x8 trailer prices including any difference in total costs and fees/insurance between the 2.

I ordered a truck for Saturday in Grand Forks, but had to pick it up on Friday in Grafton (50 mi away!). The owner said that he needs to be in Grand Forks on Saturday but refused to bring the truck down because "we have to sign papers in his office". I was offered no apologies and no reimbursement for inconvenience, time and extra mileage (gas) from U-Haul. Rather than that, it was very good experience. Thanks.
I found the service very nice
Only place in town for many miles! Two rentals in last 12 months. Current contract trailer had two bald tires and wasted rim on one. That wheel went flat. Road service to north Dakota was sent from Nebraska! Took many hours to get this fixed. At midnight the replacements showed up. On earlier truck and dolly rental, dolly hold down strap fixtures were missing 3 of 4 hold down nuts and bolts which I provided. Very unsafe!!!

The truck was promised to be available in the town we were moving from. We found out the day before the move that the truck was 80 miles away. The representative did prorate a small portion of the total expense but it still took several hours away from our packing time.
Why do I need to enter all of my information online to reserve (name, address, credit card, time of rental, etc) and then need to wait and have it collected again at the time of rental- it wastes a lot of time.

Uhaul is not something I would recommend to one of my friends you did not have my trailer and my truck in Grand Forks when I arrived to pick it up I had to go to Grafton and then to rolla 2 hours past Langdon to pick up my trailer to move from Langdon to Bertha,Mn.
Rick could not get the U Haul web site to work. Would not accept my credit card. I don't think this was Rick's fault, rather the fault lies with U Haul. It took 45 minutes to get the trailer. I paid cash because of the problem with the U Haul web site. It was very inconvenient.
