Jeremiah SThe truck I had reserved was not returned on time. No other trucks were available in town. I made several trips to Rick's to see what could be done. Was told nothing. There was a truck in Valley City but was told I would have to go after it and incur the gas expense. I guess I feel it should be U-Haul's responsibility to find a truck at their expense. I had people lined up to help me. The truck finally did show up around 4pm. By that time I was very stressed. There has to be a better way to handle things when a truck doesn't return on time.

Rick MThe person that I made the reservation with over the phone said that there would be the ball hitch piece that we needed to rent at the facility. When we got there he did not have it so we had to go out and buy one prior to picking up the trailer.
Danielle DI set up my drop off location at j & l. I got a text saying I needed to drop off at ricks tv. I was not too pleased to have to drive the truck to ricks tv when I dropped it off the same day I picked up and set my drop off location….only to have to move it to another location

Justin NAbsolutely best service I've ever received from uhaul. Rick M got exactly what I needed despite needing it last minute! Thorough with instructions and demonstration on proper use as well as responded promptly to all of my questions before I picked it up. Very flexible on my pickup day and time despite last minute and very friendly. Best uhaul rep in town and in general, as I've used uhaul many times in the past however, other's seemed to only care about getting the most they can out of my wallet by adding more days of rental in which I didn't need. I'm not usually a review kind of person as typically I don't have much positive to say however I was compelled to write this one for the one of a kind service in hopes other's will read and make the decision to go through Rick as I will from now on! Thanks Rick for the outstanding and honest service!

Richard RI am disappointed in the comments from a U-Haul representative who told me that’ the trailer could NOT be promised to be available on the day that it was manditory that it was available due to the need to take a non-drivable vehicle to the dealership for a scheduled appointment & repair. This after my local U-Haul dealer assured me I would have it when I needed it, which it was. Thank goodness for my local dealer for keeping HIS WORD to me! I will do business with him again when the need arises!

linn sFirst they change locations where I picked up my truck. I reserved it 20 ft truck. They gave me a 26-ft truck. The place they transferred me to was not open on Saturdays. Had trouble with the app because of location apps. The people at the help desk were very great. Would I rent from U-Haul again? Probably not. If I reserve a truck and they change locations on me again I definitely would not rent a truck
David KI was supposed to pick up my truck in Dickinson, but had to drive to Jamestown (over a 400 mile drive) to get a truck. I was not told that I would not be able to pick up the truck I'd reserved in Dickinson until a couple of hours before I was scheduled to pick it up. I had to take a day off work to drive to Jamestown, find someone to go with to drive my vehicle back, and pay for gas for both vehicles. It was a major inconvenience!!!

Chris FThis location was over 150 miles from where we signed up to get our truck. This required a 6 hour round trip, $80 in fuel for our car for the round trip, and $80 in fuel for the Uhaul truck. So we were out $140 in fuel and 6 hours behind schedule before we even started our packing and move. compensation or credit for the fuel would be appreciated.
Owen TPick up location customer service was great! Rick was very accommodating. Uhaul was not able to give us the size of truck we reserved but that was not the fault of the pick up location. It’s to bad Uhaul is not able to guarantee you will get the size of truck you reserve.
